We'll help you Win More At Fantasy Football. --------------------------------------------------------------- QB [Jalen Hurts]() | Right sternoclavicular sprain | Week-to-week | Doubtful week 17 Prior to Saturday's game, Adam Schefter reported Hurts' injury as a sternoclavicular sprain. It's a less common condition where the ligament connecting the breastbone and collarbone at the center of the chest is injured. Although Hurts' injury wasn't a high-grade injury -- which can threaten critical blood vessels behind the breastbone -- it still requires time to heal and stabilize. Nick Sirianni said the Eagles "thought [Hurts] may have had a chance to play" against the Cowboys and that if Hurts is "ready to go, he'll play" this week. The Eagles need one more win to clinch the top overall seed in the NFC playoffs with a bye and home field during the conference playoffs but aren't likely to risk Hurts' postseason health. Consider him to the doubtful side of questionable. WR [Tyler Lockett](=) | Fractured left metacarpal | Week-to-week | Questionable Week 17 Pete Carroll said Lockett is expected to return to practice this week. If surgery to stabilize the broken bone in his hand went well, Seattle will use the early practices this week to try to develop a splint that protects Lockett's injury while not limiting his ability to catch. The Seahawks are just out of playoff contention with two weeks to play and may push the limits of recovery and return timetables. If there's any chance Lockett can play, expect the Seahawks to give him the opportunity. QB [Lamar Jackson](=) | Left PCL sprain | Day-to-day | Questionable Week 17 The Ravens will likely test Jackson on the field early this week and see how his knee responds to football activity. PCL sprains don't always follow a clear and expected timeline. If Jackson feels his knee is stable, it's possible he'll return this week. The Ravens are one game behind the Bengals in the AFC North and have already clinched a playoff berth. It's unlikely the team will risk Jackson's health unless he can protect himself in the pocket. Watch midweek practice participation. QB [Ryan Tannehill]() | Right high ankle ligament repair | Week-to-week | Out Week 17 | Target return Week 19+ Tannehill chose surgery last week after trying to play through a high ankle sprain for much of the season. While he's out for the rest of the regular season, the Titans believe Tannehill will have a chance to return if they make the playoffs. --------------------------------------------------------------- More Week 16 injuries to monitor - WR [Christian Watson](=) | Hip flexor strain | Questionable Week 17 - TE [Hunter Henry]( | Knee injury | Questionable Week 17 - TE [Jonnu Smith]() | Concussion protocol | Questionable Week 17 More recoveries to monitor - QB [Colt McCoy](=) | Concussion protocol | Questionable Week 17 - QB [Jimmy Garoppolo]( | Right foot fracture | Out Week 17 | Target Week 19++ - QB [Mike White](=) | Rib fractures | Questionable Week 17 - RB [Damien Harris](=) | Thigh injury | Questionable Week 17 - WR [Deebo Samuel]( | Left high ankle sprain / Left MCL sprain | Out Week 17 | Target Week 18+ - WR [Chris Olave]() | Hamstring strain | Doubtful Week 17 - WR [Nico Collins]( | Foot injury | Doubtful Week 17 - WR [DeVante Parker]() | Concussion protocol | Questionable Week 17 - WR [Chase Claypool]() | Knee injury | Doubtful Week 17 - WR [Ben Skowronek](=) | Calf strain | Questionable Week 17 - TE [Hayden Hurst]( | Right calf injury | Questionable Week 17 --------------------------------------------------------------- Designated to return from injured reserve | PUP | NFI - WR [Quintez Cephus]() >> Left foot injury | Doubtful Week 17 Eligible to return from injured reserve | PUP | NFI - RB [Clyde Edwards-Helaire]( >> High ankle sprain | Doubtful Week 17 | Target Week 18+ - RB [Elijah Mitchell]( >> MCL sprain | Doubtful Week 17 | Target return Week 19+ - WR [Cooper Kupp]() >> High ankle sprain | Target return Week 17+ | Expect 2023 return - WR [Mecole Hardman]() >> Abdominal illness | Questionable Week 17 - WR [Jake Kumerow]( >> Ankle injury | Doubtful Week 17 | Target return Week 18+ - TE [Irv Smith]( >> High ankle sprain | Questionable Week 17 --------------------------------------------------------------- Footballguys injury coverage will return Saturday morning with analysis and Week 17 expectations for key injured players. --------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for subscribing to Footballguys Premium Content!
