[PHI - QB Jalen Hurts to miss game](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Philadelphia Eagles QB [Jalen Hurts](=) (shoulder) is expected to miss Week 16, per NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gardner Minshew is a boom/bust QB1 this week. The Eagles offense is strong and this game won't have weather issues. It isn't crazy to start Minshew in the fantasy playoffs if you don't have an already consistent productive option. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [BAL - QB Tyler Huntley in line for another start](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley Baltimore Ravens QB [Tyler Huntley](=) (shoulder) was practicing Thursday, Dec. 22, and is in line to start against the Atlanta Falcons. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lamar Jackson won't play in Week 16. This makes Huntley a desperation play in 2QB/Superflex leagues. It's more rational to bench Mark Andrews now if you have another intriguing option at tight end. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [CLE - RB Nick Chubb taken off injury report]( Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Chris Easterling Cleveland Browns RB [Nick Chubb](=) (foot) returned to practice Thursday, Dec. 22, and was taken off the final Week 16 injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Chubb should get as much work as he can handle in bitter cold and high winds forecast for the Cleveland area on Saturday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [WAS - DE Chase Young to make debut](=) Source: FOX Sports - Ralph Vacchiano Washington Commanders DE Chase Young (knee) is expected to play in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers for the first time since tearing his ACL in 2021. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Commanders are underdogs at San Francisco, but maybe Young could make a game-changing play or two in his return. It's more likely that he doesn't change the outlook of this lopsided matchup, but his return does make the Commanders D/ST more interesting next week against Cleveland. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [BAL - QB Lamar Jackson ruled out]() Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens QB [Lamar Jackson](=) (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tyler Huntley will start his third straight game for Baltimore this week, this time against Atlanta. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [NO - Chris Olave to miss Week 16](=) Source: NewOrleans.Football - Nick Underhill New Orleans Saints WR [Chris Olave](=) (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Olave had a terrible outlook in 20+ mph winds and bitter cold forecast for Cleveland on Saturday anyway. Now you don't have to agonize about whether to play him. [DAL - WR Noah Brown on track to play]( Source: ESPN.com - Todd Archer Dallas Cowboys WR [Noah Brown](=) (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brown caught two scores last week, so he's a what-the-heck flex this week, but the Eagles outside corners have been strong this year and could limit the Cowboys passing outside the numbers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [BAL - Baltimore's Week 16 injury report]( Source: BaltimoreRavens.com Baltimore Ravens DE Calais Campbell (knee), QB [Lamar Jackson](=) (knee) and CB Marcus Peters (calf) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons. QB [Tyler Huntley](=) (shoulder) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Dec. 22, and is listed as questionable. OT Ronnie Stanley (rest, ankle) and LB Jason Pierre-Paul (rest) did not practice Thursday but are expected to play. RB [J.K. Dobbins](=) (rest, knee), LB Justin Houston (rest), OT Morgan Moses (rest) and OG Kevin Zeitler (rest, knee) were not given a practice status Thursday but are also expected to be available. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Campbell is a key run-stuffer and his absence could help the Falcons offense get on track. This should be a close, low-scoring game, that is mainly determined by each team's running game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [BUF - WR Stefon Diggs sits out Thursday]() Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan Buffalo Bills WR [Stefon Diggs](=) (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 22, but is not on the injury report for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Diggs is going to have to deal with 20+ mph sustained winds in Chicago, but Josh Allen has the arm strength to negotiate that kind of condition and Diggs is too good to leave on the bench in the fantasy playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [CLE - WR Amari Cooper should be available](=) Source: NewOrleans.Football - Nick Underhill Cleveland Browns WR [Amari Cooper](=) (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 22, but is not on the injury report for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones are desperation plays only with high winds and bitter cold forecasted for Cleveland on Saturday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [MIA - Limited practice for RB Jeff Wilson]() Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan Miami Dolphins RB [Jeff Wilson](=) Jr. (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 22. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's hard to know who is healthier between Mostert and Wilson. Both are what-the-heck flex plays in the inconsistent, but sometimes very productive Dolphins running game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [CIN - Cincinnati's injury report for Week 16](=) Source: Bengals.com Cincinnati Bengals DE Sam Hubbard (calf) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 16 versus the New England Patriots. CB Jalen Davis (thumb) and TE [Hayden Hurst](=) (calf) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. CB Cam Taylor-Britt (shoulder) and DT Jay Tufele (illness) were upgraded to a full practice Thursday, Dec. 22, but are also listed as questionable. WR [Trent Taylor](=) (hamstring) and CB Eli Apple (ankle) were limited in practice Thursday but have been removed from the injury report. OT La'el Collins (rest), DT D.J. Reader (rest), DE Trey Hendrickson (wrist), WR [Tee Higgins](=) (hamstring) and CB Mike Hilton (knee) practiced in full Thursday and also no longer appear on the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hurst could play, but he's a risky start in his first week back. Tight end is pretty rough right now, but there is probably a better play than Hurst on your roster if you're still alive in the playoffs. Hubbard being out is a bummer for the defense, but Hilton and Hendrickson will be back to help make up for that loss. Higgins is a safe play after being limited earlier in the week. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
