[GB - AJ Dillon out of concussion protocol](=) Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman Green Bay Packers RB AJ Dillon (head) cleared the league's concussion protocol Tuesday, Dec. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Well, that was quick! It puts Dillon on track to be out there for the Packers in Week 16. He'll continue to split time with Aaron Jones as the Packers take on the Dolphins. Dillon is a flex play, and Jones is an RB2 with upside in the second week of the fantasy playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [PHI - QB Jalen Hurts' Week 16 status undetermined](=) Source: FOX Sports - Ralph Vacchiano Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles QB [Jalen Hurts](=) has 'a chance' to play in Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys, according to comments made by head coach Nick Sirianni on Tuesday, Dec. 20.'There's a chance he could play this week. He's one of the toughest guys I know. His body is not like yours or mine. He heals fast. I will not rule him out. I will not put a timetable on him. We'll see what happens,' Siranni said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Nick Sirianni said Hurts and backup QB Gardner Minshew would prepare to play in Week 16. This is one of the biggest storylines for Fantasy GMs to monitor in Week 16. We hope to get more clarity as the week of practice goes on. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [PIT - Kenny Pickett to start]( Source: ESPN - Brooke Pryor Pittsburgh Steelers QB [Kenny Pickett](=) (concussion) will start in Week 16, according to head coach Mike Tomlin. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pickett is coming back from the second concussion of his rookie season. The Steelers are going up against the Raiders in Week 16, and Pickett can push the ball against their secondary. That makes him a streaming option for Fantasy GMs making their way through the playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [PHI - TE Dallas Goedert activated](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Philadelphia Eagles TE [Dallas Goedert](=) (shoulder) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Dec. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Goedert was close last week, but the Eagles gave him another game off. Now, Goedert should be out there and good to go in Week 16. Let's see what he can do during practice, but Goedert is a player that might be on your waiver wire because he was shut down due to injury. With QB Jalen Hurts doubtful, backup QB Gardner Minshew could lean on Goedert early and often. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [MIN - QB Josh Rosen to Vikes](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Free-agent QB Josh Rosen (Browns) was signed to the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad Tuesday, Dec. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rosen was with the Browns for about a month earlier this year in the summer. He last played on the field for the Falcons and was awful. Rosen gives the Vikings a scout team arm, and that's about it. Kirk Cousins is the starter, and Nick Mullens is the primary backup. [PIT - WR Diontae Johnson limited]( Source: ESPN - Brooke Pryor Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Diontae Johnson](=) (foot) will be limited Tuesday, Dec. 20, due to a case of turf toe. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Turf toe is the type of injury that lingers if not given enough time to heal. It's a short week as the Steelers play on Saturday night against the Raiders. The Steelers are likely just giving Johnson some maintenance before their Christmas Eve game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [LAR - QB Matthew Stafford not retiring](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Rams QB [Matthew Stafford](=) (neck) said he's not retiring after sustaining a spinal cord contusion. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Stafford is out for the season due to this spinal contusion suffered in early December. He was bad before the injury that took him out for the rest of the 2022 season, mainly due to an elbow injury that prevented him from looking like his old self. Stafford is signed through 2026, but things will have to be changed in order for him to get back on track next season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [NYJ - QB Zach Wilson official for Week 16](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport New York Jets QB [Zach Wilson](=) will start in Week 16 as QB [Mike White](=) (ribs) won't be cleared for contact. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Wilson was inconsistent last week in his performance against the Lions. On Thursday night against the Jaguars, Wilson is an option for Fantasy GMs who stream quarterbacks. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [CHI - RB Khalil Herbert designated to return]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Chicago Bears RB [Khalil Herbert](=) (hip) was designated to return from IR Tuesday, Dec. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is going according to plan, as Herbert was set to return in Week 16. He should be out there splitting time with RB David Montgomery against the Bills on Saturday. Herbert has flex appeal in his first week back given the Bears' propensity to run the ball. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [CLE - RB Nick Chubb a no-go for practice Tuesday]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Cleveland Browns RB [Nick Chubb](=) (foot) will not practice Tuesday, Dec. 20, due to a foot injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Chubb is on a short week, so the Browns are just doing some maintenance here. The Browns are at home to take on the Saints in Week 16, and the game is on Saturday. Chubb is an RB1, set-it-and-forget-it, starter (as per usual) in the second week of the fantasy playoffs.
