Zach Ertz is out for the season with a knee injury. Dallas Goedert is expected to miss some time with a shoulder injury. PPR's TE3 and TE4 will not be fun to replace. The good news is that there are tight ends you may be able to trade for or pick up. Cole Kmet is coming off five touchdowns in his last three games and makes for a solid addition to your lineup. David Njoku, who may have fallen due to his injury and bye week, was the TE4 through Week 7. His ceiling could also be elevated with the return of Deshaun Watson. With Cooper Kupp going down, expect Tyler Higbee to see a more significant role in the Rams' offense. Darren Waller was placed on IR, and Foster Moreau came up just shy of a two-touchdown game on Sunday. Hayden Hurst might be available after a Week 10 bye and will provide you with a reasonably high floor at the tight end position. Losing a top-five tight end sucks. But we want to do all we can to help you roll out the best lineup every week. Plus, check out [Sigmund Bloom's weekly waiver wire video](=) to help you navigate through byes and injuries at every position. [TB - Rachaad White taking over?]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB [Rachaad White](=) should remain the starting running back after the bye week, in the opinion of beat writer Greg Auman. Game flow will dictate whether he or RB [Leonard Fournette](=) receive more touches. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fournette is a little banged up, but he's going to be okay after the team's Week 11 bye. In Week 10, this Buccaneers backfield looked like a 50-50 split. White is the more explosive back, and he can be on the field as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [LAR - WR Cooper Kupp out four weeks](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Rams WR [Cooper Kupp](=) (ankle) will have tightrope surgery to repair a high-ankle sprain, and he will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] More bad news for the Rams here. It's a lost season for the defending Super Bowl champions, and losing Kupp for the next four weeks could just lead to them shutting him down for the rest of the season. The Rams move forward with more production expected from guys like WR Allen Robinson and TE Tyler Higbee. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [PHI - TE Dallas Goedert to miss extended time]() Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo Philadelphia Eagles TE [Dallas Goedert](=) (shoulder) will miss an extended period with a shoulder injury, but it's not a season-ending injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's not a season-ending injury, but it's bad news for Goedert and Fantasy GMs. He'll be out a few weeks, and there's a chance Goedert is put on Injured Reserve. In the meantime, we're interested to see if converted QB Tyree Jackson gets more work as a tight end in the Eagles' offense. Jack Stoll and Grant Calcaterra are also there to do more if asked. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [HOU - RB Eno Benjamin finds new home in Houston]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Free-agent RB [Eno Benjamin](=) (Cardinals) was claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans on Tuesday, Nov. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's an interesting landing spot for Benjamin, a surprise cut by the Cardinals on Monday. Benjamin could work in tandem with talented rookie RB Dameon Pierce. Essentially, Benjamin could take over the role Rex Burkhead has had with the team...and he should be more productive with those touches. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [WAS - Ron Rivera mum on QB situation]( Source: The Washington Post - Nicki Jhabvala Washington Commanders QB [Taylor Heinicke](=) remains likely to start in Week 11 against the Houston Texans for now. However, head coach Ron Rivera told reporters Tuesday, Nov. 15, that no decision will be made about the starting quarterback moving forward until [Carson Wentz](=) (finger) returns to practice and he hears from team doctors about what they have decided regarding Wentz's recovery. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The team beat the undefeated Eagles with Heinicke starting on Monday in Week 10. In fact, Heinicke is 3-1 in four starts with the Commanders. Against the Texans in Week 11, there's no need to upset the apple cart by forcing Wentz into action if he's not 100 percent ready. They could just slow-play this injury until Heinicke starts struggling...if he starts struggling. Heinicke is not lighting the league on fire, but the team seems to respond to the "YOLO" ball that he plays. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CHI - RB Khalil Herbert goes on injured reserve]() Source: KPRC.com - Aaron Wilson Chicago Bears RB [Khalil Herbert](=) (hip) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 15. Free-agent CB Justin Layne (Giants) was claimed off waivers to replace him on the roster. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bad news for the Bears and Fantasy GMs. Herbert is a talented back who could start for teams out there, but he was working as a backup to David Montgomery. He will now miss at least the next four games on IR. Tristan Ebner could get more work, or the Bears could just lean on Mongtomery and QB Justin Fields even more. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [NO - QB Jameis Winston is a possibility for Week 11](=) Source: ESPN.com - Katherine Terrell New Orleans Saints QB [Jameis Winston](=) (ankle, back) is a possibility to play in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Head coach Dennis Allen said Monday, Nov. 14, that he will sit down and visit with Winston, he'll talk to the medical staff and do what gives the team the best chance to win. He added he has not made a decision on quarterback yet. [GB - WR Amari Rodgers let go]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Green Bay Packers WR [Amari Rodgers](=) was waived Tuesday, Nov. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rodgers was a third-round pick out of Clemson in the 2021 NFL draft. He hasn't shown much on film in the pros outside of a propensity to fumble on limited touches. Some team might be willing to take a chance on his receiver/return man skill set. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [GB - RB Kylin Hill done in Green Bay]( Source: CBSSports.com - Jonathan Jones Green Bay Packers RB [Kylin Hill](=) was waived Tuesday, Nov. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hill has talent, and if he can stay healthy we'll still monitor him in crazy deep dynasty formats. He's flashed earlier in his career, and the Packers might want to bring him back on the practice squad if he clears waivers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [GB - WR Randall Cobb cleared to practice]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Green Bay Packers WR [Randall Cobb](=) (ankle) was designated for return from the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Getting Cobb back will be good for the Packers, QB Aaron Rodgers, and there are some benefits for Fantasy GMs in PPR formats as well. Now that his 21-day window is open, the next question is when the Packers activate him. That could come on Thursday night in Week 11, especially with the release of Amari Rodgers on Tuesday. The Packers are at home to take on the Titans, and Cobb could be a deep flex or 'what the heck' flex upon his return to the field. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [PHI - WR A.J. Brown rolled ankle on Monday](=) Source: Around The NFL Philadelphia Eagles WR [A.J. Brown](=) (ankle) said Monday, Nov. 14 that he rolled his ankle in the Week 10 game against the Washington Commanders, but that he did not come out of the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Let's watch this situation as the week of practice goes on. Brown said he thinks the ankle will be OK. The Eagles travel to play the Colts on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [ARI - WR Marquise Brown getting close to return]() Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban Arizona Cardinals WR [Marquise Brown](=) (foot) is 'getting close' to a return, although he might not make it back in Week 11, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Monday, Nov. 14. Brown could potentially be out until after the team's bye in Week 13, however. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Cardinals lost TE Zach Ertz, so they could use another target like Brown returning to the field. When he does, we'll see how things work between Brown and DeAndre Hopkins in the passing game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [PIT - RB Najee Harris working through knee soreness](=) Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper Pittsburgh Steelers RB [Najee Harris](=) (knee) is expected to play in Week 11 despite dealing with knee discomfort Tuesday, Nov. 15, according to comments made by head coach Mike Tomlin on Tuesday, Nov. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Steelers have already said they'd use Jaylen Warren more, and they did as a receiver in Week 10. We'll see if Warren can cut into the carries normally reserved for Harris as he's banged up with this knee issue. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [GB - Green Bay adds WR Dede Westbrook to practice squad](=) Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky Free-agent WR Dede Westbrook (Vikings) was signed to the practice squad of the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, Nov. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's an interesting addition for the Packers as they continue to look for wide receiver help in any way they can. Westbrook can still take the top off the defense when healthy, and if he gets a shot with the Packers it will be as a deep threat. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family.
