Claypool gets a fresh start with a new team, and he should immediately be the Bears' no.2 receiver. Darnell Mooney is the top target for QB Justin Fields, but the Bears should emphasize getting Claypool involved as well. He was only targeted six times in Week 8, but entering Sunday Claypool had at least seven targets in three straight games. Hockenson](=) was acquired by the Minnesota Vikings Tuesday, Nov. 1, in exchange for a 2023 second-round pick, a 2024 third-round pick, a 2023 fourth-round pick and a 2024 conditional fourth-round pick. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Vikings have Irv Smith, but he's banged up with a high-ankle sprain suffered in week 8. That means Smith could miss a few weeks as he recovers. The Vikings get one of the best tight ends in the league, and Hockenson should be looking for a contract extension in the near future. Hockenson remains a TE1 from a fantasy perspective as the Vikings should make him a priority in their passing attack. Hockenson](=), a 2023 fourth-round pick and a 2024 conditional fourth-round pick were acquired by the Minnesota Vikings Tuesday, Nov. 1, in exchange for a 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 third-round pick. The team now has Brock Wright as their top tight end. Rookie James Mitchell is there to do more as well now that Hockenson has been traded away. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Dolphins pushed their chips in with the addition of a disruptive EDGE player like Chubb. Adam Schefter reports that Chubb will sign a long-term extension with the Dolphins. Chubb, a former top-5 pick (2018), has struggled with injuries during his pro career. We love Swift. Glad he's out there. But he's not back. He's given us what he has. But it's just not, you know. And so maybe give another one of those carries to Jamaal. These are things you go through and you learn, and figure out what you can do better. ... We'll see where he's at this week. That's something that we've thought about. It's, 'we want to make sure he's up to feeling himself and that we can get the most out of him.' Whatever those are, even if that's 10 reps. But we'll gauge that this week. Cooks caught 4-of-6 targets for 73 yards in the Texans' Week 8 loss to the Titans, and in this brutal matchup, we can only recommend him as a flex play. [MIN - TE Irv Smith likely to miss least two months]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Minnesota Vikings TE [Irv Smith](=) (ankle) is expected to be sidelined eight to 10 weeks with the high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] A high-ankle sprain is a devastating injury that just takes time to heal. This sounds like a pretty severe high-ankle sprain because most players with this have to miss around a month. Smith might miss twice that long. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] According to sources via ESPN's Adam Schefter, the two teams are in the process of trying to finalize the trade before the league's deadline. The compensation going back to the Falcons is reportedly for a conditional 2023 fifth-round pick and a conditional 2024 fourth-round pick. This is a good move for the Jaguars, but they'll have to wait for Ridley to be reinstated before he can help QB Trevor Lawrence and the passing game in 2023.
