Pollard may go back to being behind Ezekiel Elliott in the committee after the bye, but hopefully this showed the team that he deserves more work going forward. [SF - RB Christian McCaffrey makes like LT2]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates San Francisco 49ers RB [Christian McCaffrey](=) rushed 18 times for 94 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams, while adding eight grabs for 55 yards and a score on nine targets, and he also tossed a 34-yard touchdown to WR [Brandon Aiyuk](=). He is the first player since Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson of the then-San Diego Chargers to run, catch and throw for a touchdown in the same game. LT2 last accomplished the feat in 2005. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] McCaffrey was a force that couldn't be stopped Sunday. [NO - QB Andy Dalton plays well]( Source: NFL.com New Orleans Saints QB [Andy Dalton](=) went 22-for-30 for 229 yards and two touchdowns against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Dalton was throwing short passes and Alvin Kamara did the rest in this one. After his big Week 7 (including two pick sixes), Dalton had more of a game manager job in this one, but Kamara's run after catch ability made it a solid fantasy start. Dalton's hold on the starting job should be firmer after the job appeared to be up in the air going into this week. [MIA - Big game for WR Jaylen Waddle](=) Source: ESPN Miami Dolphins WR [Jaylen Waddle](=) racked up eight receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns in Week 8 against the Detroit Lions on his nine targets. It was his fourth 100-yard game, and second time with multiple scores in a single outing this season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Waddle had been quiet since his Week 2 outburst, perhaps in part because he wasn't 100%. This game put him well back into the top 10 fantasy receivers on the season. He's a part of a lot of overachieving fantasy teams. Moore](=) finished with six receptions for a game-high 152 yards, a 62-yard touchdown on a Hail Mary, and 11 targets in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moore took over his helmet after the potential game-winning score, which was penalized and pushed back the extra point attempts, which was missed, so the game went to overtime. Even before that, Moore was having a solid fantasy showing with P.J. Walker and should stay in lineups against the Bengals next week. Brown](=) caught six passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8. He was targeted 11 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brown could have had four scores, but he was caught from behind after making a reversal of field move that looked like something out of a video game. He is proving the Eagles were smart to trade a first round pick and give him a top of the market value contract. [PHI - RB Miles Sanders finds end zone]() Source: NFL.com Philadelphia Eagles RB [Miles Sanders](=) rushed for 78 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Eagles passing game was so efficient that Sanders didn't have many opportunities to rack up fantasy points, but he still scored and put up solid gains on most of his runs to bail out teams that played him this week. [CAR - Giant showing for D'Onta Foreman](=) Source: ESPN Carolina Panthers RB D'Onta Foreman ran 26 times for 118 yards and three touchdowns in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons and he didn't have a catch on his lone target. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Foreman ran hard all day and wore down the Falcons defense. The Panthers offense was surprisingly productive again and gave him a ton of touchdown opportunities, which he was very effective finishing. [CHI - RB Khalil Herbert finds end zone]() Source: NFL.com Chicago Bears RB [Khalil Herbert](=) rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bears stayed true to a "hot hand" approach and fed Herbert more in the second half to make him a strong RB2 play despite the lopsided loss. Herbert was more productive than David Montgomery once again and should be in lineups against Miami next week. [NE - QB Mac Jones just under 200 yards](=) Source: ESPN New England Patriots QB [Mac Jones](=) completed 24-of-35 passes for 194 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 8 against the New York Jets while running for 19 yards on seven attempts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones was limited to the short range passing game. This offense doesn't look as good as it did with Bailey Zappe. The Patriots won, but settled for too many field goals. There could be a quarterback controversy brewing here. [ARI - WR DeAndre Hopkins shines in loss](=) Source: ESPN.com Arizona Cardinals WR [DeAndre Hopkins](=) caught 12 of his 13 targets for 159 yards and a touchdown in a 34-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hopkins is making his presence felt including a spectacular touchdown catch. [DET - QB Jared Goff goes over 300 yards](=) Source: ESPN Detroit Lions QB [Jared Goff](=) completed 27-of-37 passes for 321 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins while running for three yards. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Lions offense came back to life this week with the return of D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown and with it, Goff's fantasy value. [LVR - QB Derek Carr struggles in Week 8]( Source: NFL.com Las Vegas Raiders QB [Derek Carr](=) went 15-for-26 for 101 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Raiders offense looked like they spent too much time on Bourbon Street Saturday night. Carr was a bust in a play from behind game script that should have been good for his fantasy prospects. Carr is falling sharply in our streamer/bye week coverage rankings with the Jaguars up next. [LVR - WR Davante Adams quiet for Week 8]( Source: NFL.com Las Vegas Raiders WR [Davante Adams](=) caught one pass for three yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8. He was targeted five times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rookie corner Alontae Taylor did a great job on Adams as the Raiders offense never got out of the driveway thanks to an unsuccessful fake punt and interception in the first half that put them down 17-0. [PIT - Kenny Pickett struggles in Week 8]() Source: NFL.com Pittsburgh Steelers QB [Kenny Pickett](=) went 25-for-38 for 191 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. He also rushed for 37 yards on seven carries during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Steelers offense with Pickett doesn't look that different from the offense they had with late career Ben Roethlisberger. A high volume, short range passing game isn't going to keep them in contests with good teams, and Pickett doesn't have much to offer fantasy teams. The only question now is whether the Steelers will see enough to know that Pickett isn't the answer with an early first round draft position likely in their future. [ATL - QB Marcus Mariota tosses three TDs](=) Source: ESPN Atlanta Falcons QB [Marcus Mariota](=) completed 20-of-28 passes for 253 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers while adding 43 rushing yards on six attempts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mariota had a bad overtime interception, but was redeemed by a missed Eddy Pineiro kick, and then led a game-winning drive that put the Falcons in first place all by themselves. Mariota had his first good passing day of the season and put himself back in streamer and bye week coverage consideration against the Chargers next week. [MIA - TE Mike Gesicki hauls in touchdown](=) Source: ESPN Miami Dolphins TE [Mike Gesicki](=) posted three grabs for 38 yards and a touchdown on four targets in Week 8 against the Detroit Lions. It was his first game back since Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Swift didn't break any big plays, but did score on a short pass and was involved enough in the passing game to be a solid play in PPR leagues.
