News and Notes from around the league  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Footballguys Email Updates](=) [Go PRO]( | [View Online](=) [Unsubscribe]( | [Sign Up]() [Footballguys.com](=)Daily Email Update • Vol. 24, #190 • Oct. 16th[,](=) 2022 --------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks To Our Sponsor, [Monkey Knife Fight]( Howdy {NAME}, Wow. [IND - RB Deon Jackson posts over 100 total yards](#45) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [PIT - Concussion for Kenny Pickett](=) Source: Steelers.com - Burt Lauten Updating previous reports, Pittsburgh Steelers QB [Kenny Pickett](=) (concussion) suffered a concussion during the Week 6 game and has been ruled out. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mitchell Trubisky came in after Pickett suffered a concussion and looked great, even making the plays to clinch the game after the defense did their part on the Bucs two-point conversion to tie the game. Trubisky's quality play should help the Steelers feel no need to rush Pickett back for a game against the Dolphins. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [ATL - TD for TE Kyle Pitts in Week 6](=) Source: ESPN Atlanta Falcons TE [Kyle Pitts](=) posted three grabs for just 19 yards on three targets in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers, but he was able to post a touchdown to salvage the stat line. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Finally. Pitts was less involved than we would have hoped, but the TD was sweet. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [TB - TE Cameron Brate taken off field]() Source: NFL.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE [Cameron Brate](=) (undisclosed) was taken off the field on a stretcher after suffering an undisclosed injury during the Week 6 game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brate was down for a few minutes and had to have his face mask taken off of his helmet. We probably won't see him for a while after he also suffered a concussion two weeks ago. Rookie Cade Otton will take over and has some waiver appeal in deep and TE premium leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [CIN - Ja'Marr Chase has outstanding game](=) Source: NFL.com Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase caught seven passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. He was targeted 10 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We should have known Chase would have a massive game when Joe Burrow wore Chase's jersey to the Superdome today. Chase had the dagger to win the game with a 60-yard catch and run score that included two broken tackles. He had been lagging in fantasy leagues, but Chase justified the first round pick he cost in fantasy leagues today. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [GB - WR Randall Cobb leaves game]() Source: NFL.com Green Bay Packers WR [Randall Cobb](=) (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the Week 6 game and is considered questionable to return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cobb looked despondent after suffering the injury, but x-rays were negative. It could still mean an extended absence from a Packers offense that struggled in the elements today, but also has had no success getting the downfield passing game going. Cobb can be dropped in deep leagues after his best game of the year came last week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [TB - WR Mike Evans held in check]() Source: NFL.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Mike Evans](=) caught four passes for 42 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. He was targeted four times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Evans was quiet this game as Tom Brady was mad at his offensive line and rarely had time to throw downfield. The Bucs settled for too many field goals, so they'll likely go back to the drawing board on how to use Evans' contested catch ability to finish drives. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [IND - Alec Pierce catches TD pass]() Source: NFL.com Indianapolis Colts WR [Alec Pierce](=) caught three passes for 49 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. He was targeted seven times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pierce caught the decisive score. It wasn't a huge game for him, but it was good enough if you counted on him as your WR3/Flex. He shouldn't be on the waiver wire anywhere any more. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [PIT - George Pickens quiet in Week 6]() Source: NFL.com Pittsburgh Steelers WR [George Pickens](=) caught three passes for 27 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. He was targeted six times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pickens fortunes fell when Kenny Pickett left the game. If Pickett can't go next week, we'll have to leave Pickens on our benches. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [SF - Two scores for WR Brandon Aiyuk](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers WR [Brandon Aiyuk](=) registered eight receptions for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 11 targets in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Aiyuk had a huge game on a lot of benches this week, as the 49ers passing game was only productive because they seemed to abandon the run after a Jeff Wilson fumble and then played from behind in the second half. This result will make it tough to bench him against the Chiefs next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [NE - Bailey Zappe goes over 300 yards](=) Source: ESPN New England Patriots QB [Bailey Zappe](=) completed 24-of-34 passes for 309 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Browns defense was atrocious, allowing the fourth-round rookie to throw to open receivers with a lot of time to survey the field, but Zappe was still better in those optimal conditions than a lot of veteran quarterbacks. Mac Jones should push to play next week, but Zappe has given them something to think about if Jones falters when he does return. Zappe has some staying power in 2QB/Superflex dynasty leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [SF - Eight grabs for TE George Kittle](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers TE [George Kittle](=) posted eight receptions for 83 yards on 10 targets in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It wasn't a week-winning stat line, but it was still very welcome if you have been depending on Kittle after taking him in the top five fantasy tight ends. The 49ers defense having trouble with the Falcons running game and Marcus Mariota's rare pass attempt bodes well for Kittle's value heading into a matchup with the Chiefs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [CIN - RB Joe Mixon has productive game](=) Source: NFL.com Cincinnati Bengals RB [Joe Mixon](=) rushed for 45 yards on eight carries against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. He also caught four passes for 23 yards and one touchdown during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mixon didn't get the hoped-for usage in this game, but his touchdown catch helped make him a solid contributor to fantasy teams. He'll remain a low-end RB1 worth a spot in your lineup against the surprising Falcons next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [CLE - RB Nick Chubb mediocre in Week 6](=) Source: ESPN Cleveland Browns RB [Nick Chubb](=) rushed 12 times for just 56 yards in Week 6 against the New England Patriots, while picking up 14 yards on his only grab on two targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Browns were more than in this game at halftime, so it's hard to know why Chubb didn't get more work. He's still a strong RB1 heading into a matchup with the Ravens. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [CIN - Four touchdowns for QB Joe Burrow](=) Source: NFL.com Cincinnati Bengals QB [Joe Burrow](=) went 28-for-37 for 300 yards and three touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. He also rushed for 25 yards and one touchdown on four carries during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Burrow is focusing on short passing and setting up run after catch opportunities for Ja'Marr Chase, and that was enough. Burrow's rushing touchdown helped make him a league winner on this triumphant return to Southeast Louisiana. Burrow's value is surging heading into a matchup with the Falcons. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [CIN - Six receptions for WR Tee Higgins](=) Source: NFL.com Cincinnati Bengals WR [Tee Higgins](=) caught six passes for 47 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. He was targeted 10 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Higgins had his normal level of snaps and targets, but the short passing game emphasis for the Bengals lowered his production per catch. Still, it was an acceptable result in a PPR league, and a floor game for Higgins, who should be healthier against the Ravens next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [IND - Michael Pittman has terrific game]() Source: NFL.com Indianapolis Colts WR [Michael Pittman](=) Jr. caught 13 passes for 134 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. He was targeted 16 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pittman's fantasy teams got fat this week on a huge volume of pass attempts from Matt Ryan. We can't count on that every week, and Alec Pierce and Parris Campbell made significant contributions today, but games like this will make us very reluctant to put Pittman on our benches going forward. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [IND - Three touchdowns for QB Matt Ryan]() Source: NFL.com Indianapolis Colts QB [Matt Ryan](=) went 42-for-58 for 389 yards and three touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Colts don't want Ryan throwing the ball 58 times a week, but it worked as he authored a game-winning drive with a score to rookie Alec Pierce. Ryan has a wide range of weekly outcomes, but a result like this one keeps him streaming consideration against the Titans next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [MIA - RB Raheem Mostert doesn't do much](=) Source: ESPN Miami Dolphins RB [Raheem Mostert](=) rushed 14 times for 49 yards in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings while adding one grab for minus-1 yard on his two targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mostert had been warming up, but wasn't as foundational as we wanted as the offense rested more on the passing game today. Tua Tagovailoa will be back next week, but Mostert will face the Steelers defense that bottled up Leonard Fournette in the running game today. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [NE - Tyquan Thornton scores pair of TDs](=) Source: ESPN New England Patriots WR [Tyquan Thornton](=) rushed three times for 16 yards and a touchdown while adding four receptions for 37 yards and a score on his five targets in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Thornton made enough of an impact to get some waiver consideration in deep leagues, although Nelson Agholor sitting helped upsize the rookie's opportunity. Early returns are good for Thornton's dynasty stock after he fell far in rookie drafts despite being a second-round pick. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [ATL - QB Marcus Mariota totals three TDs](=) Source: ESPN Atlanta Falcons QB [Marcus Mariota](=) completed 13-of-14 passes for 129 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers while running for 50 yards on six attempts with a touchdown. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Maybe it was the retro uniforms, but Mariota and the Falcons soared. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [CLE - TD, 12 targets for WR Amari Cooper](=) Source: ESPN Cleveland Browns WR [Amari Cooper](=) finished with four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown on a game-high 12 targets in Week 6 against the New England Patriots. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cooper's touchdown came when the game was basically decided, but it all counts the same in fantasy. Still, the flaccid performance from the offense should put us on notice that the arrow is pointing down for the Browns after averaging over 26 points a game going into this one. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 22. [MIA - WR Tyreek Hill has giant stat line](=) Source: ESPN Miami Dolphins WR [Tyreek Hill](=) posted 12 receptions for 177 yards on 15 targets in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings. It was his third game with 160 or more receiving yards this season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hill can produce big games with either of the Dolphins top two quarterbacks. If we drafted today, he would be a first-round pick. The Steelers will try to contain him next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 23. [NE - Big game for RB Rhamondre Stevenson](=) Source: ESPN New England Patriots RB [Rhamondre Stevenson](=) rushed 19 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns, while adding four receptions for 15 yards on his five targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] One of Stevenson's scores came in garbage time, and the passing game did most of the damage for the Patriots, but it was still every bit the fantasy success we were hoping for when it became clear that Damien Harris wouldn't play this week. Harris could return next week against Chicago, which would relegate Stevenson back to an RB2/Flex play. [IND - WR Parris Campbell reaches end zone]() Source: NFL.com Indianapolis Colts WR [Parris Campbell](=) caught seven passes for 57 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. He was targeted 11 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The team has stuck with Campbell as a starter despite lackluster production, and he vindicated them today. Campbell reached the ball out to the pylon for a short score and helped move the sticks today. He's a desperation play against the Titans, but his arrow is pointing up as he has finally stayed healthy. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 25. [JAX - RB James Robinson has decent outing]() Source: NFL.com Jacksonville Jaguars RB [James Robinson](=) rushed for 54 yards on 12 carries against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This was a back-and-forth affair, which helped Robinson get enough work to not be a total bust, and he hadn't gotten stonewalled at the one-yard line, he would have been a viable RB2 this week. Consider him a what-the-heck flex against the Giants next week, with his value possibly lagging behind backfield mate Travis Etienne after a hot start. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 26. [MIA - TE Mike Gesicki with pair of scores](=) Source: ESPN Miami Dolphins TE [Mike Gesicki](=) posted six receptions for 69 yards and two touchdowns on seven targets in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gesicki had one of the biggest fantasy games of his career, as Teddy Bridgewater looked for him in the end zone and found him open twice. Gesicki is as boom/bust as they come at tight end, but hopefully this result will give the team more reason to play Gesicki more often as a receiver. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 27. [BAL - QB Lamar Jackson up and down in loss](=) Source: ESPN.com Baltimore Ravens QB [Lamar Jackson](=) completed 17 of his 32 passes for 210 yards, a touchdown and an interception and rushed seven times for 77 yards in a 24-20 loss to the New York Giants in Week 6. He also lost a fumble. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Once again, the Ravens blew a big 4th quarter lead. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 28. [JAX - WR Zay Jones leads team in receiving]() Source: NFL.com Jacksonville Jaguars WR [Zay Jones](=) caught five passes for 42 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6. He was targeted five times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jamal Agnew left with a knee injury, which could help Jones' opportunity for the time Agnew is out, but this offense is too diverse and isn't presenting enough upside to justify Jones as more than depth in PPR leagues right now. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 29. [MIA - QB Teddy Bridgewater sharp in relief](=) Source: ESPN Miami Dolphins QB [Teddy Bridgewater](=) completed 23-of-34 passes for 329 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings, coming on in relief of the injured QB [Skylar Thompson](=). [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bridgewater wasn't shy throwing downfield to Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill in the comeback attempt, and if it wasn't for a Waddle fumble and a few poor decisions by Bridgewater, he might have pulled it off. Tua Tagovailoa is back next week, but Tagovailoa's injury history and Bridgewater's production today makes Bridgewater a hold in 2QB/Superflex leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 30. [MIA - WR Jaylen Waddle goes over 100 yards](=) Source: ESPN Miami Dolphins WR [Jaylen Waddle](=) ended up with six receptions for 129 yards on 10 targets in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Waddle was a fantasy success despite going into the game with his third-string quarterback starting, but he had a costly fumble late in the game that extinguished a Dolphins comeback attempt. He's an every-week start no matter who is in at quarterback. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 31. [JAX - RB Travis Etienne rushes for 86 yards]() Source: NFL.com Jacksonville Jaguars RB [Travis Etienne](=) rushed for 86 yards on 10 carries against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6. He also caught two passes for 22 yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Etienne continues to look like the most explosive player in this offense, but it isn't turning into big fantasy numbers yet. He got a wildcat snap on first and goal at the one, but got lit up for a loss and didn't get another chance to score on the drive. Etienne remains a what-the-heck RB2/Flex heading into a game against the upstart Giants. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 32. [MIN - RB Dalvin Cook back into the end zone](=) Source: ESPN Minnesota Vikings RB [Dalvin Cook](=) rushed 13 times for 77 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins, his third rushing touchdown in the past two games. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cook had a 53-yard score to basically ice the game and save his fantasy teams from a did despite his team winning on the road. Cook hasn't been disappointing despite coming with a first-round price tag this year, and his injured shoulder will benefit from the upcoming bye week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 33. [CAR - WR Robbie Anderson kicked out by coach]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Carolina Panthers WR [Robbie Anderson](=) was involved in multiple sideline arguments with a coach during the Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams, and interim head coach Steve Wilks kicked the receiver out of the game and had him sent to the locker room. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Anderson, like Cam Akers, might have played his last game with his current team. He's droppable in dynasty leagues. Shi Smith and Terrance Marshall should get more opportunity in this offense one way or the other. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 34. [MIN - WR Justin Jefferson hits triple digits](=) Source: ESPN Minnesota Vikings WR [Justin Jefferson](=) posted six grabs for a team-high 107 yards in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is what passes for a quiet afternoon for Jefferson these days. He has been a success despite a few floor games and a lot of teams that took Jefferson in the first round are feeling good as he enters his bye. [NYJ - Breece Hall hits triple digits with TD](=) Source: ESPN New York Jets RB [Breece Hall](=) rushed 20 times for 116 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers while adding two grabs for five yards on his two targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 36. [PIT - Five receptions for WR Diontae Johnson]() Source: NFL.com Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Diontae Johnson](=) caught five passes for 28 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. He was targeted seven times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Johnson is looking more like PPR depth than the every week start we envisioned when we took him in fantasy drafts this year. If Mitchell Trubisky starts against the Dolphins this week, Johnson will be a low-ceiling WR3/Flex at best. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 37. [CLE - QB Jacoby Brissett mistake-prone in loss](=) Source: ESPN Cleveland Browns QB [Jacoby Brissett](=) completed 21-of-45 passes for 266 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 6 against the New England Patriots, and he ran once for no gain while also losing a fumble. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brissett had an underthrow interception early and was stopped on a fourth down sneak in the Patriots end of the field and never really recovered. He did have a garbage time score to Amari Cooper, but this was a game that showed why Brissett has been a career backup. He'll start at Baltimore next week, but Brissett and the Browns offense is no longer a pleasant surprise. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 38. [NO - RB Alvin Kamara surpasses 100 total yards](=) Source: NFL.com New Orleans Saints RB [Alvin Kamara](=) rushed for 99 yards on 19 carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6. He also caught six passes for 25 yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The offense has settled down under Andy Dalton and included a dedicated large share of work in the running game and passing game for Kamara, who is looking like a solid second-round fantasy pick after a rough start to the season. We'll see who starts next week. Even if it's not Jameis Winston in Week 7, we'll likely see Winston again, and that adds some volatility to Kamara's outlook. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 39. [PIT - WR Chase Claypool finishes with 96 yards]() Source: NFL.com Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Chase Claypool](=) caught seven passes for 96 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. He was targeted seven times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Claypool was a crucial player on the receiving end of multiple huge third-down passes from Mitchell Trubisky to help clinch the game, and he caught the game-winning score from Trubisky. He's back to at least what the heck flex consideration against the Dolphins no matter who starts at quarterback. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 40. [TB - RB Leonard Fournette plays well in Week 6]() Source: NFL.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB [Leonard Fournette](=) rushed for 63 yards on 21 carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. He also caught six passes for 38 yards and one touchdown during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fournette isn't running the ball very efficiently, but he is being heavily used in the dink-and-dunk passing game. He has been a major PPR success the last two weeks and looks like a hit at a depressed ADP from his excellent 2021 production. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 41. [JAX - QB Trevor Lawrence accounts for three TDs]() Source: NFL.com Jacksonville Jaguars QB [Trevor Lawrence](=) went 20-for-22 for 163 yards and one touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6. He also rushed for 23 yards and two touchdowns on six carries during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lawrence was highly efficient, but didn't test the defense downfield. His two sneaks for scores made his fantasy, but that's not the team's plan A at the goal line and will be tough to reproduce. Lawrence remains a low-ceiling QB2 heading into a matchup with the Giants. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 42. [MIN - QB Kirk Cousins tosses pair of touchdowns](=) Source: ESPN Minnesota Vikings QB [Kirk Cousins](=) completed 20-of-30 passes for 175 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cousins connected a few times for big plays with Justin Jefferson and finished two drives with short scoring passes, but was otherwise quiet in the win. He's more of a QB2/Superflex than a QB1 for fantasy, in part because the Vikings are winning and not having to pass a ton in comeback bids. Cousins goes into his bye as the division leader by two games. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 43. [PIT - QB Mitchell Trubisky throws for 144 yards]() Source: NFL.com Pittsburgh Steelers QB [Mitchell Trubisky](=) went 9-for-12 for 144 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Trubisky was clutch on multiple third and long plays to clinch the game. He also got Chase Claypool going for the first time this year. Kenny Pickett's concussion could keep him out next week against the Dolphins, and the Steelers will have a lot more confidence in Trubisky than they did this morning if Pickett can't play. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 44. [SF - RB Jeff Wilson Jr. stuck mostly in neutral](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers RB [Jeff Wilson](=) Jr. rushed seven times for 25 yards with a lost fumble and no receptions in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Wilson had a fumble returned for a score, and the team appeared to lose confidence in him and the running game as they fell behind the Falcons. Wilson had been surging in fantasy value, but now isn't an auto start as an RB2/Flex against the Chiefs next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 45. [IND - RB Deon Jackson posts over 100 total yards]() Source: NFL.com Indianapolis Colts RB [Deon Jackson](=) rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. He also caught 10 passes for 79 yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The unheralded 2022 UDFA out of Duke was running with a lot of energy and helping the offense stay on schedule with consistent gains as a receiver. Jonathan Taylor and/or Nyheim Hines should be back next week, but Jackson has shownthat he belongs in this league and he is at least on our radar in deep dynasty leagues.
