News and Notes from a wild opening Sunday.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Footballguys Email Updates](=) [Go PRO]( | [View Online](=) [Unsubscribe]( | [Sign Up]() [Footballguys.com](=)Daily Email Update • Vol. 24, #155 • Sep. 11th[,](=) 2022 --------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks To Our Sponsor, [Monkey Knife Fight]( Howdy {NAME}, Once again, the league delivered on a fantastic opening Sunday. [PIT - Foot injury for RB Najee Harris]() Source: NFL.com Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris (foot) suffered a foot injury during the Week 1 game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Harris was bent awkwardly late in the fourth quarter and didn't return. He's on the doubtful side of questionable at best for a game against the Patriots next week. Jaylen Warren entered the game when Harris left, but the Steelers running game didn't instill confidence in fantasy players today. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [PIT - OLB T.J. Watt suffers pec injury]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Pittsburgh Steelers LB T.J. Watt (pectoral) suffered an apparent pectoral injury in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The fear is that it's a torn pec, which could end his season. The Steelers had one of the most stirring wins in recent memory, but it could have come at a large cost. They should be still be a decent D/ST start next week without Watt against the Patriots. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [IND - RB Jonathan Taylor runs wild in opener](=) Source: ESPN Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor rushed 31 times for 161 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Houston Texans, and he added four receptions for 14 yards on seven targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] So much for the offseason talk of lightening his workload. Taylor showed why he was the #1 pick in a lot of leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [NE - QB Mac Jones undergoing X-rays]() Source: NFL.com New England Patriots QB Mac Jones (back) suffered a back injury during the Week 1 game and was scheduled to undergo X-rays after the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Patriots don't need any more bad news after an ugly opener Sunday. Hopefully we'll have some clarity on this issue Monday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [LAC - WR Keenan Allen will not return](=) Source: NFL.com - Bridget Condon Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 1 game and will not return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] DeAndre Carter is in as the slot receiver in Allen's place and looking good, so folks who drafted Josh Palmer hoping for the injury upside if Allen or Mike Williams went down are disappointed. Carter could end up being the better waiver wire pickup. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey records TD in Week 1](=) Source: ESPN Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey rushed 10 times for 33 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns, and he added four receptions for 24 yards on his four targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] McCaffrey's best play was a fumble recovery that he turned into a long gain. The Panthers didn't emphasize McCaffrey in the game plan and it was part of the reason they lost. He looked as good as ever, so throw out a trade offer to see if his fantasy team is disappointed with this result. Even Ben McAdoo can't mess this up forever. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [WAS - Jahan Dotson records two TDs](=) Source: ESPN Washington Commanders WR Jahan Dotson posted three grabs for 40 yards and two touchdowns on his five targets in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Dotson got both scores on contested catches in a development that will only increase trust between him and his quarterback Carson Wentz. He should be added on the waiver wire this week with a poor Lions defense up next, although he could be in for floor weeks when the Commanders face better defenses. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [WAS - WR Curtis Samuel posts touchdown](=) Source: ESPN Washington Commanders WR Curtis Samuel had eight receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown on a team-high 11 targets while adding four runs for 17 yards in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Samuel should be a hot waiver wire pickup as he showed how good he can be when healthy, it's just been a while. He should continue to gain momentum against the beleaguered Lions defense next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [WAS - RB Antonio Gibson totals 130 yards](=) Source: ESPN Washington Commanders RB Antonio Gibson rushed 14 times for 58 yards in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars while adding seven receptions for a team-high 72 yards on eight targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gibson was very productive as a receiver in this back and forth game and seemed to win back the trust of the coaches. He should be a solid RB2 next week against the Lions, although Brian Robinson will be back possibly as soon as Week 5 to turn backfield into a three-man RBBC. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [NE - RB Damien Harris quiet in Week 1]() Source: NFL.com New England Patriots RB Damien Harris rushed for 48 yards on nine carries against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. He also caught two passes for 10 yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Harris is in a three-way committee with Rhamondre Stevenson and Ty Montgomery in a mediocre at best offense. He's only an advisable fantasy start when the Patriots face a poor defense, and that's not the Steelers, who are up next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [SF - No update on RB Elijah Mitchell](=) Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) left the Week 1 game against the Chicago Bears, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that initially there was hope Mitchell could return to the game. He did not give an update Sunday, Sept. 11, on whether or not he thinks it will be a long-term injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mitchell was ruled out quickly, which is a bad sign. We should probably assume he won't be out there against the Seahawks next week. Jeff Wilson wasn't very efficient in place of Mitchell, and Deebo Samuel played a large role in the backfield, so there might not be a reliable 49ers running back while Mitchell is out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [WAS - QB Carson Wentz goes over 300 yards](=) Source: ESPN Washington Commanders QB Carson Wentz completed 27-of-41 passes for 313 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions while rushing for 12 yards in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in his regular-season team debut. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Wentz won a lot of fans in Washington with this performance, and he made a lot of Commanders offensive skill players viable against the last defense he faced as a Colt. The Lions just gave up 38 points and they are up next, so Wentz has a lot of appeal in superflex leagues, and could be worth a pickup in 1QB leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [CAR - QB Baker Mayfield comes up short](=) Source: ESPN Carolina Panthers QB Baker Mayfield completed 16-of-27 passes for 235 yards, one touchdowns and one interception while rushing for another score in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns, his former team. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mayfield almost led the improbable comeback with a 75-yard score to Robbie Anderson, but Jacoby Brissett and rookie kicker Cade York had other ideas. Mayfield doesn't seem to be a marked improvement over the quarterback play in Carolina in recent years. He'll face the Giants next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [CLE - RB Nick Chubb hits triple digits](=) Source: ESPN Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb rushed 22 times for a game-high 141 yards in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers, and he had a 2-yard catch on his only target. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Chubb saw Kareem Hunt get both scores, but otherwise was everything you could ask as a fantasy back. He will get in the end zone eventually, and the offense wasn't as poor with Jacoby Brissett as we feared, so Chubb looks like a hit as a third round pick heading into a good matchup against the Jets. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [HOU - RB Rex Burkhead totals 19 touches](=) Source: ESPN Houston Texans RB Rex Burkhead rushed 14 times for a team-high 40 yards while adding five grabs for 30 yards on eight targets in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Burkhead dominated snaps in a disappointing development for Dameon Pierce fantasy teams. The Texans will want to establish the run and get Pierce on track, but the offense was better with Burkhead on the field. Consider Burkhead a what the heck flex against the Broncos next week. [IND - QB Matt Ryan throws for 352 yards](=) Source: ESPN Indianapolis Colts QB Matt Ryan completed 32-of-50 passes for 352 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 1 against the Houston Texans in his team debut. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] In a familiar scene, Ryan wasn't always able to get it done in the red zone, and the team had to settle for a tie. He'll face a Jaguars defense that Carson Wentz lit up today, so perhaps things will get better for Ryan next week even though the Colts quarterback did have a solid fantasy day on the back of 50 attempt volume. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [SF - WR Deebo Samuel finds the end zone](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel recorded two catches for 14 yards in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears, and he added eight rushes for 52 yards and a touchdown. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The passing game for both teams struggled in the bad conditions, but Samuel was still able to get his because of his involvement as a runner, which included a red zone fumble. Elijah Mitchell's knee injury will keep Samuel a key part of the running game against the Seahawks next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [IND - Michael Pittman hits triple digits](=) Source: ESPN Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. registered nine receptions for a game-high 121 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in Week 1 against the Houston Texans. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] If you took Pittman in the third round with the idea that Matt Ryan would feed his #1 receiver, you were right. He should be projected as a top 10 receiver next week against the Jaguars. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [CHI - QB Justin Fields tosses pair of TDs](=) Source: ESPN Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields completed just 8-of-17 passes for 121 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers, while adding 11 runs for 28 yards. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fields wasn't great as a runner or a passer, but he did complete two long bombs to Byron Pringle and Dante Pettis, and found Equanimeous St. Brown for the game clincher. He isn't startable in fantasy yet, but should be better next week at Green Bay as long as the game isn't played in a monsoon. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [CLE - RB Kareem Hunt finds end zone twice](=) Source: ESPN Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt rushed 11 times for 46 yards and a touchdown while adding four catches for 24 yards and another score in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hunt was involved more often when the Browns were on the Panthers half of the field and it paid off with two scores and a fantasy RB1 level game. He was very efficient at scoring last year before he got hurt, so we'll leave Hunt in lineups next week against the Jets. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [JAX - RB James Robinson posts pair of TDs](=) Source: ESPN Jacksonville Jaguars RB James Robinson rushed 11 times for a game-high 66 yards with a touchdown, and he added one grab for a 3-yard touchdown in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Robinson had a big run early and didn't look back as the more valuable fantasy back in Jacksonville. He showed no ill effects from a January achilles tear and should be in lineups as at least a flex against the Colts next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 22. [JAX - WR Christian Kirk hits century mark](=) Source: ESPN Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk registered six grabs for a game-high 117 yards and 12 targets in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kirk had a good debut as the team's #1 receiver and should be trusted against the Colts as a WR3/Flex next week. He had the best downfield connection with Trevor Lawrence of any of the Jaguars receivers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 23. [CHI - RB David Montgomery spins his wheels](=) Source: ESPN Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery registered 17 carries for just 26 yards in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers, and he added three grabs for 24 yards on four targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Montgomery looked like he was running in mud, and well he was. Still, it's clear that the Bears new regime sees the worth of Khalil Herbert. Montgomery is only a what the heck flex (at best) going forward, and splits could trend even more against him if Herbert continues to outperform him. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 24. [JAX - RB Travis Etienne totals six touches](=) Source: ESPN Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne registered four runs for 47 yards and he added two receptions for 18 yards on four targets in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Etienne dropped an easy touchdown and the Jaguars called James Robinson's number on basically the same play later in the game. Robinson caught it. Etienne is at best a what the heck flex against the Colts next week, and is probably better off on benches until he breaks a long play or two. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 25. [NE - Ten touches for RB Rhamondre Stevenson]() Source: NFL.com New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 25 yards on eight carries against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. He also caught two passes for two yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There was hope that Stevenson would split this backfield with Damien Harris, and both would be three-down backs, but Ty Montgomery ruined that. Stevenson isn't droppable in deep leagues, but he's only startable as a flex against poor defenses, and the Steelers are up next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 26. [CLE - WR Donovan Peoples-Jones leads the way](=) Source: ESPN Cleveland Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones registered six grabs for a team-high 60 yards and 11 targets in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's good to see the chemistry with Jacoby Brissett. Peoples-Jones has some appeal in very deep leagues, but you have to think Amari Cooper and David Njoku will get more involved going forward with the Jets up next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 27. [SF - QB Trey Lance doesn't do much in Week 1](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers QB Trey Lance completed just 13-of-28 passes for 164 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears while running 13 times for a game-high 54 yards. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lance was a fantasy dud, and we might think twice about starting him until he makes us regret benching him. The conditions were terrible and it's not fair to judge Lance on this result, but it still moves the team closer to considering Jimmy Garoppolo because of the result. The Seahawks are up next week for San Francisco. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 28. [CHI - WR Darnell Mooney disappoints in Week 1](=) Source: ESPN Chicago Bears WR Darnell Mooney posted one grab for eight yards on three targets in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mooney was barely targeted, but at least Justin Fields hit on a couple of deep balls, just not to Mooney. It's reasonable to put Mooney on your bench until he goes off. Hopefully better weather will bring better results against the Packers next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 29. [CHI - RB Khalil Herbert records 10 touches and a TD](=) Source: ESPN Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert carried nine times for 45 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers while adding one reception for minus-2 yards. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] David Montgomery got more touches, but Herbert was the better runner by a big margin and he got the only rushing touchdown on the day. Herbert is arguably the more valuable fantasy back, but unless one of them gets hurt, neither Bears back will be a reliable play. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 30. [CLE - WR Amari Cooper has three grabs in debut](=) Source: ESPN Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper posted three receptions for 17 yards on six targets in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers in his regular-season team debut. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cooper gets banished to our benches until he makes us regret leaving him there. Jacoby Brissett isn't much of a downfield passer, so it's hard to see Cooper as a consistent fantasy option until Deshaun Watson returns, although the matchup against the Jets next week looks good on paper.
