Now, Brady is back in the building and getting prepared for Week 1 of the regular season. He's going to fill the air with footballs in the Buccaneers' pass-happy attack, and that gives him QB1 status for Fantasy GMs (again) in 2022. [GB - RB Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon on equal footing?](=) Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman Green Bay Packers RBs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are '1A and 1A' options, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.'They're two of the premier backs in our league, in my opinion. They can do anything,' LaFleur said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Packers have a wealth of riches at the running back position. Jones is one of the best backs in the league, and Dillon is not too far behind him (if he's behind him at all). We've seen them split time before, so Fantasy GMs know what to expect from both when healthy. Jones is an RB1 with top-5 potential in PPR formats. [LAC - Isaiah Spiller to be sidelined for a bit]() Source: ESPN.com - Lindsey Thiry Los Angeles Chargers RB Isaiah Spiller (ankle) will not play in the final week of the preseason and is considered 'week-to-week' with an ankle injury, according to head coach Brandon Staley. Per Staley, there is a chance Spiller will not be able to play in Week 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Joshua Kelley seems to have won the no.2 running back job with the Chargers for now. The rookie Spiller was expected to push him in camp, but now this ankle injury will cost him practice time. Austin Ekeler is the lead back, and Kelley looks to be the primary backup for now. [CAR - QB Baker Mayfield named starter]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Carolina Panthers QB Baker Mayfield was officially named the starter for Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns on Monday, Aug. 22. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] In a move that surprises no one, the Panthers name the guy they traded for the starter. They wanted an upgrade over QB Sam Darnold, and that's why they made the move for Mayfield in the first place. There are some interesting pieces on the Panthers' offense, mainly RB Christian McCaffrey and WR D.J. Moore. Even with those two guys, we only think Mayfield is a QB3 from a fantasy perspective. That means most of you out there won't be drafting him this month. Drake could serve as a change-of-pace back for many teams out there if he ends up getting released. Ameer Abdullah and Brandon Bolden fill out the running back room for the Raiders. We like the idea of taking Abdullah in PPR formats, but only super late and only in deep leagues.
