[CLE - QB Deshaun Watson ruling expected Monday](=) Source: CBS Sports HQ - Josina Anderson Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is expected to be notified of Sue Robinson's decision on his suspension on Monday, Aug. 1, according to sources on Sunday, July 31. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hopefully, we'll have some clarity on this situation soon. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [PIT - QB Mitchell Trubisky getting all first-team reps]() Source: NBC Sports - Peter King Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mitchell Trubisky says he has gotten all first-team reps in training camp thus far. 'Coach [Mike] Tomlin is very transparent about the situation.' Trubisky told NBC Sports' Peter King. 'I've taken all the reps with the ones so far. So I'm just trying not to take any day for granted, just take advantage of this opportunity, continue to lead this team.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mason Rudolph's reportedly been seeing most of the 2nd team work with rookie Kenny Pickett working with the 3's. This is the predictable and logical order you'd expect from a franchise like Pittsburgh that values stability. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [ATL - Drake London dominating camp](=) Source: FalconsWire - Deen Worley Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London has been 'stealing the show' at training camp, according to Deen Worley of Falcons Wire. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We love hearing this type of report, but tempered enthusiasm is wise in these types of situations. London should be able to steal the show, and there are plenty of reasons he was a top-10 pick. The first wide receiver off the board in the 2022 NFL draft drew comparisons to Buccaneers WR Mike Evans in the pre-draft process, and that's incredibly high praise for the rookie. We are excited for London, and Fantasy GMs should nab him in the WR30-40 range. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [LAR - WR Van Jefferson to visit knee specialist](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Rams WR Van Jefferson (knee) will visit a specialist Monday, Aug. 1, regarding a lingering knee issue, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Some bad news for the Rams here. Jefferson is working as the no.3 receiver on the depth chart behind Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson. There is the possibility that Jefferson could be sidelined for several weeks and may need to undergo surgery. That means guys like Tutu Atwell - who has been getting quite a bit of positive reports about his game - will get an opportunity to do more in training camp. [ARI - WR DeAndre Hopkins adding slot work]() Source: CardinalsWire - Jess Root Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins was seen getting 'a lot of reps in the slot' during practice Saturday, July 30, according to Jess Root of Cards Wire. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's something to note as camp rolls on. The Cardinals are finding ways to attack defenses with a tremendous duo of Hopkins and WR Marquise Brown. Moving Hopkins around the formation makes sense. They'll have to wait until his six-game suspension is over, but Hopkins should perform at a high level again. Fantasy GMs can get him in the 35-45 range at the wide receiver position because of his suspension. The hope is he hits the ground running (and he should) when he returns in Week 7. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [BAL - WR Devin Duvernay sustains bruised thigh](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley Baltimore Ravens WR Devin Duvernay (thigh) did not return to practice Saturday, July 30, after colliding with S Chuck Clark while attempting to catch a pass from QB Lamar Jackson. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Good thing the injury is not considered serious. Without WR Marquise Brown (Cardinals), the Ravens are looking to guys like Duvernay to do more in the passing attack. Duvernay is a speed receiver who can blow by defenders with little effort, and earlier this offseason Duvernay said he hopes to earn a starting role in training camp. He sustained a bruised left thigh but head coach John Harbaugh said the injury was not serious. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [CLE - Isaiah Weston sustains knee injury Saturday]() Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot Cleveland Browns WR Isaiah Weston (knee) was carted off the field after sustaining a knee injury Saturday, July 30. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Undrafted out of Northern Iowa, Weston is a speedy guy with downfield ability who is trying to impress enough in camp to make the 53-man roster or the practice squad. The team hopes that it is a meniscus injury rather than a torn anterior cruciate ligament, the latter of which would cost him the entire 2022 season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family. I hope you have an awesome Monday and we'll see you tomorrow with the Update.
