[] 1. [CLE - QB Deshaun Watson hearings to begin June 28]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Updating ongoing reports, Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson's joint disciplinary hearing conducted by the NFL and NFLPA will begin Tuesday, June 28, with Sue. L. Robinson serving as the appointed disciplinary officer, sources told ESPN. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The expectations for Watson's suspension have gone up to a year, if not longer, if not an indefinite suspension. The NFLPA will push for something in the 6-12 game range, but it's unclear whether Watson will accept that, and his recalcitrance might influence the league to not back down from their recommendation for the suspension length. We are likely to see Jacoby Brissett start at least half, if not all of the games for the Browns this year as the team's relationship with Baker Mayfield seems to be beyond repair. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NO - WR Marquez Callaway back in action]() Source: NewOrleansSaints.com New Orleans Saints WR Marquez Callaway (thumb) was able to participate in June minicamp after undergoing thumb surgery following the 2021 season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Callaway was a starting receiver by default last year, but he'll be no higher than fourth on the depth chart this year. He is still a deep dynasty hold as a very successful UDFA through two seasons and only #11 overall pick Chris Olave sure to be on the team in 2023 among the receivers ahead of him on the depth chart. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [MIN - Growing role for RB Kene Nwangwu?]( Source: ESPN.com - Kevin Seifert Minnesota Vikings RB Kene Nwangwu 'figures to get more involved in the offense' this season, according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Nwangwu has great straight line speed, and he is at least part of the long term plan at running back with top notch backup Alexander Mattison set to hit free agency next year. The team also drafted Ty Chandler in the fifth round, a pick that belongs to the new regime, while Nwangwu was a pick of the previous regime, so we'll be watching the reports out of camp and preseason performances of both backs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [GB - RB Kylin Hill likely to start on PUP]( Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky Green Bay Packers RB Kylin Hill (knee) will likely begin the season on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This opens the door for Patrick Taylor or Tyler Goodson to make the team as the #3 running back, and potentially have a large role in September if anything happens to Aaron Jones or A.J. Dillon. Goodson is the better passing game back and he has a zest for special teams, but Taylor put up a nice 11-53-1 line in Week 18 last year, and played ahead of Antonio Gibson at Memphis. We'll be watching this camp battle closely, and deep dynasty league players should too. [] 5. [CAR - High expectations for Robbie Anderson?](=) Source: ESPN.com - David Newton Carolina Panthers WR Robbie Anderson should provide a 'ton of production' this season, according to head coach Matt Rhule. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There were high hopes for Anderson last year when he was reunited with Sam Darnold, but the season was a disaster for both players. Baker Mayfield has been linked to the Panthers, but he wasn't good for the deep passing game in Cleveland. Consider Anderson a late round flier because of his proven ability, but be ready to move on quickly if the passing game doesn't improve in early games against Cleveland, the Jets, and Pittsburgh. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CAR - WR Terrace Marshall Jr. making strides](=) Source: ESPN.com - David Newton Carolina Panthers WR Terrace Marshall Jr. has made a 'massive leap' from his rookie year, RB Christian McCaffrey said during OTAs. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Marshall was a massive disappointment last year, but appears to have reversed course. This offense won't support three fantasy relevant receivers, and even without Christian McCaffrey for most of last year, they were only able to support one. This news is important for dynasty players, who shouldn't give up on Marshall too quickly, but he's unlikely to have any redraft impact in 2022. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [LAR - Cautious approach with TE Tyler Higbee](=) Source: ESPN.com - Sarah Barshop Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) said the Rams plans to bring him along slowly, 'knowing we have some time before the season.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Higbee had surgery after his injury in the NFC Championship game and missed the Super Bowl. He's cheap in redraft leagues for a proven tight end in a great offense, but that's because he wasn't consistent or even that explosive in fantasy leagues last year in the same situation. He's a better late round pick in best ball than redraft right now and could get off to a slow start with the team's cautious approach to his recovery.
