[] 1. [TEN - Treylon Burks unavailable](=) Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt Updating previous reports, Tennessee Titans WR Treylon Burks was 'unavailable' the last two days of workouts, according to head coach Mike Vrabel. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The 2022 first-round pick just needs some 'wins' when training camp starts. He's had arguably the worst offseason of any rookie taken on the first day of the draft. Burks is supposed to be the replacement for A.J. Brown, but he's struggled with drops, conditioning issues and problems with asthma. His current ADP is WR52 (11.05) in 12-team PPR formats. We'll see if he can get some 'wins' and generate some positive buzz with strong play in training camp and the preseason. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [BAL - QB Lamar Jackson bulked up](=) Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson told reporters he weighs 220 pounds as of Thursday, June 16. Jackson noted that he typically plays somewhere between 205 and 208 pounds. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] As a full-time starter with the Ravens, Jackson has never made it through a full season. Bulking up will help his body take the punishment he absorbs as a scrambling quarterback. Jackson is waiting for a contract extension while the Ravens insist a deal will eventually get done. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [BAL - J.K Dobbins recovery 'on schedule']( Source: WNST.net - Luke Jones Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is 'on schedule' for his recovery from ACL reconstruction surgery, head coach John Harbaugh told the media Thursday, June 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That's great news and it goes along with what we've heard this entire offseason. Dobbins is on schedule, and that schedule should include easing him into action at the start of the regular season. Don't expect to see much of Dobbins or Gus Edwards, who is recovering from a 2021 season-ending knee injury as well, during training camp and the preseason. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott in tip-top condition]() Source: TexansWire - Mark Lane Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott has had a 'tremendous offseason' and is in 'top shape,' according to head coach Mike McCarthy. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ah yes, mid-June means we get plenty of 'best shape of his life' stories out there across the NFL. Elliott is in great shape by all accounts, but he is not the same player he used to be. He's arguably not even the best back on the Cowboys roster at this moment with Tony Pollard looking like a star in waiting. However, Jerry Jones is going to insist the team uses Elliott up as the lead back and that means Fantasy GMs should see him still as a high-end RB2 with upside. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [TEN - Chigoziem Okonkwo shines again](=) Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans TE Chigoziem Okonkwo caught another touchdown pass Wednesday, June 15, after catching three in Tuesday's OTA session. This one, Okonkwo caught across the middle in 7-on-7 drills. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Another day, and another positive report about Okonkwo. As we've noted before, when Matt Waldman and Cecil Lammey tag him as a sleeper tight end in this draft class we are paying attention. He's a muscular player who knows how to use his frame to box out smaller defenders. Okonkwo is focused when running routes over the middle and it's tough to bring him down when he builds a head of steam. Watch him in dynasty formats as he begins his pro career as a backup for the Titans behind Austin Hooper. [] 6. [TEN - RB Dontrell Hilliard impressing](=) Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans RB Dontrell Hilliard caught touchdowns on back-to-back throws from QB Ryan Tannehill at the end of the final 7-on-7 period. He has shown good quickness and speed on his carries. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rookie Hasaan Haskins is seen as the primary backup to Derrick Henry, but Hilliard is there to compete for the spot as well. If Henry needed to miss time, the Titans would likely use Haskins on early downs and use Hilliard in space and as a receiving back on passing downs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [BUF - TE Howard Has Not Looked Dynamic](=) Source: Joe Buscaglia - The Athletic Joe Buscaglia, from The Athletic, reports Buffalo Bills TE O.J. Howard has not looked like a dynamic pass-catching weapon during team minicamp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Dawson Knox is the starting tight end for the Bills, and he's a playmaking weapon who can attack the middle of the field. Howard is a big-bodied veteran who could get some work as a reserve tight end when the team is near pay dirt in the red zone. The former first-round pick (2017) has never done much as a receiver during his pro career in five seasons with the Buccaneers. Now in Buffalo, he'll be a reserve at best. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [ATL - TE Pitts Wants to Improve Pre-Snap]() Source: Scott Blair - AtlantaFalcons.com Scott Blair, from AtlantaFalcons.com, reports Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts wants to improve pre-snap in 2022. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It would be a natural progression for any player, but especially at the tight end position where it takes some time to get used to the pro game. Pitts is a mismatch nightmare for opponents, and he's a no-brainer TE1 for Fantasy GMs this season. Being better pre-snap will help him rip off more big plays and not allow defenses to complicate things for him with coverages as they did sometimes during his rookie season in 2021. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [NE - Pierre Strong agrees to rookie deal]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates New England Patriots fourth-round RB Pierre Strong agreed to a four-year deal worth $4.37 million with a $714,428 signing bonus, per ESPN's Field Yates on Thursday, June 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Strong was a four-year starter at South Dakota State, and the Patriots decided to get him on Day 3 of the draft. He's in a cramped backfield with guys ahead of him on the depth chart like Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson. James White came back for another season, and his role is clearly defined as a third-down specialist. That means Strong will have to wait for his opportunity. He has big-play ability and can even toss some passes on trick plays as well. We love him in dynasty formats.
