[WAS - WR Terry McLaurin expected at minicamp](#4) 5. [LVR - WR Davante Adams talks Packers trade](#5) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [LVR - TE Darren Waller extension 'a priority'](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler Las Vegas Raiders TE Darren Waller's contract extension is 'expected to be a priority' now that WR Hunter Renfrow has been locked up with a new contract, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on Friday, June 10. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There is no doubt that Waller is a priority for the Raiders. He's arguably the best tight end in the game today, and Waller can create mismatches every time he's on the field. With WR Davante Adams getting a lot of attention - and Renfrow doing work as well - Waller should be able to continue posting top-tier TE1 numbers for Fantasy GMs in 2022. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CAR - Robbie Anderson contemplating retirement]() Source: Twitter - Robbie Anderson Carolina Panthers WR Robbie Anderson said he's 'thinking about retiring' on Saturday, June 11. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is what happens when Sam Darnold is your quarterback. Anderson has spent two 'meh' seasons with the Panthers, and things were supposed to be better because he was reunited with his college coach from Temple Matt Rhule (who went from Temple to Baylor to the NFL). Earlier this offseason, the Panthers restructured Anderson's contract, creating $5.9 million in cap space. If he does retire, they'll have around $11 million in dead money to deal with. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [LAR - WR Cooper Kupp contract details]( Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp's three-year, $80 million contract extension has $35 million fully guaranteed at signing and roster bonuses of $5 million in 2023, 2024 and 2026, and $7.5 million in 2025, per source. His base salaries are $10 million, $15 million, $15 million, $12.5 million and $14.85 million over the course of the next five years. The extension carries a new-money average of $26.7 million per year and lowers Kupp's 2022 cap hit from $18.6 million to $17.8 million, per Spotrac. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kupp gets a new deal, and the Rams secure his services through the 2026 season. With QB Matthew Stafford tossing him passes, Kupp should continue to be a huge part of the Rams offense and a favorite of Fantasy GMs in all formats. He's an easy call as a first-round pick in fantasy drafts, and there's a good chance if y you don't have a top-5 pick you won't get Kupp on your team. [WAS - WR Terry McLaurin expected at minicamp]() Source: Commanders Wire - Bryan Manning Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin has skipped the voluntary workouts this offseason, but head coach Ron Rivera said he expects McLaurin to report for the mandatory minicamp next week. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] McLaurin is not going to miss mandatory work. Or, we should say, he's unlikely to miss mandatory minicamp as he waits for a new contract from the Commanders. Based on how they've handled business in the past, expect something to be done with McLaurin in late July. He should get a deal that makes him one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [LVR - WR Davante Adams talks Packers trade]( Source: NFL.com - Michael Baca Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams said part of the reason he wanted to be traded from the Green Bay Packers had to do with QB Aaron Rodgers potentially retiring in the next year or two. 'I got aspirations of doing really, really big things and being remembered, and it just wasn't really a point in my career that I was willing to sacrifice Aaron [Rodgers] not being there after a year or two,' Adams said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Adams said Derek's Carr's "talent and ability" are "similar" to Rodgers. He's going to go off for the Raiders this year as the top receiver in a high-powered offense. Fantasy GMs are taking him as a top receiver as per usual, and Adams is a lock to be a first-round pick in every draft. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family.
