[CLE - NFL done interviewing QB Deshaun Watson]( Source: USA TODAY Sports - Brent Schrotenboer Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson has concluded his interview process with the NFL as the league continues to look into allegations of sexual misconduct against the quarterback, who is facing 24 civil lawsuits. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Watson could see a suspension handed down before the season as it appears the league doesn't need to wait for the legal process to play out. The publicity around Watson has taken another negative turn, which is a factor in determining punishments, so a half-season or more suspension is not out of the question. Jacoby Brissett looks like he's going to be the Week 1 starter if Watson is out unless the relationship between Baker Mayfield and the team gets patched up. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CLE - CLE considering WR Odell Beckham reunion?](=) Source: Outkick.com - Armando Salguero The Cleveland Browns 'have had internal discussions' about a possible reunion with WR Odell Beckham Jr., according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Beckham is most likely going back to the Rams, but nothing is out of the question with his injury uncertainty and revival before going down during the Super Bowl. He and Will Fuller are the most interesting free agent wide receivers left on the market. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [SF - Jimmy Garoppolo excused from minicamp]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo has been excused from mandatory minicamp, per sources, as the team continues to explore trade options. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This makes one think Trey Lance will start for the 49ers Week 1 at Chicago. Carolina and Seattle are still the most likely destinations for Garoppolo, but they are likely waiting for his shoulder surgery recovery to be complete before making a move for him. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [GB - QB Aaron Rodgers in attendance]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, who skipped voluntary workouts, arrived at the stadium Monday, June 6, for mandatory minicamp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rodgers has been talking about retirement a lot lately, which is nothing new. He'll have to adjust to life without Davante Adams. There's no denying Adams is a great player, but surprisingly, Rodgers' stats and the team's fortunes haven't taken a hit when Adams has missed time in recent years. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [JAX - QB C.J. Beathard carted off with injury]( Source: The Associated Press - Mark Long Jacksonville Jaguars QB C.J. Beathard (undisclosed) was carted off the practice field at organized team activities on Monday, June 6, with an undisclosed injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jake Luton, who started three games for the Jaguars as a rookie in 2020, signed with the team this offseason after spending time on the Dolphins and Seahawks practice squads last year. He's in line to be the backup if Beathard's season is over, with UDFA E.J. Perry also in the mix. The Jaguars could look to sign a veteran free agent if the injury is serious. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [NE - Isaiah Wynn present](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport New England Patriots OT Isaiah Wynn has arrived for mandatory minicamp Monday, June 6. He didn't participate in the voluntary portion. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There was speculation that Wynn could go on the trade block if the team had already decided that they won't sign him to a long term deal after his fifth year option was exercised for this season. If the team feels good about what they saw from Justin Herron while Wynn was away recently, they could look to deal Wynn if the price is right, but the trade front is quiet right now. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [TB - Luke Goedeke inks rookie pact]( Source: Buccaneers.com - Scott Smith Second-round draft choice OG Luke Goedeke (Central Michigan) signed a four-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, June 6. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Goedeke is a future starter at guard and should give the team strong depth behind Shaq Mason at the new left guard at worst, but he could be the day one starter after Ali Marpet retired during the offseason. Aaron Stinnie, 2021 third rounder Robert Hainsey, and Nick Leverett are the other candidates for the spot. [LAR - Kyren Williams under contract]() Source: Pro Football Network - Aaron Wilson Fifth-round draft choice RB Kyren Williams (Notre Dame) signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, June 6. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Williams is more of a passing game back than a between-the-tackles pounder. He's unlikely to have fantasy value this year unless both Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson miss time, but he has a good shot to make the team as a fifth-round pick. He should be monitored in deep dynasty PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [NE - N'Keal Harry will attend minicamp](=) Source: Pro Football Focus - Doug Kyed New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry will be present at mandatory minicamp when it begins on Tuesday, June 7, according to a source. Harry requested a trade in 2021 and was not present for voluntary organized team activities recently. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It has been suggested that Harry try to move to tight end to increase his viability. The Patriots could attempt to trade him for late-round draft capital, but a release is just as likely, if not more likely since Harry has done nothing to distinguish himself. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [IND - CB Kenny Moore II in the building](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Indianapolis Colts CB Kenny Moore II, who is seeking a new contract, is taking his physical Monday, June 6, before mandatory minicamp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moore, like so many others, has realized that he has little to no bargaining power that can be realized by staying away from the team under the new CBA. He is a cornerstone of a pass defense that added Stephon Gilmore in the offseason. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [DAL - TE Dalton Schultz skipping rest of OTAs]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Dallas Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz informed the team he's skipping the rest of voluntary organized team activities. Schultz signed his franchise tender and will make $10.931 million if he doesn't reach a deal by July 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Schultz doesn't have much leverage here, so it doesn't really change the chances of him getting a long term deal, but it does indicate that he and the team might be too far apart to get a deal done before July 15, which would boost the dynasty value of fourth round pick Jake Ferguson, who some have praised already. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [NE - PK Tristan Vizcaino working out for Pats]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Free-agent PK Tristan Vizcaino (Chargers) is working out for the New England Patriots Monday, June 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Nick Folk is going to be the Patriots kicker, but the team might be looking for someone to push Quinn Nordin, who is potentially the kicker of the future after being signed to a futures contract this offseason, but he hasn't been seen at voluntary OTAs yet. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [LAR - Rookie contract numbers for Derion Kendrick]() Source: Pro Football Network - Aaron Wilson Updating a previous report, sixth-round draft choice CB Derion Kendrick (Georgia) signed a four-year contract worth $3.792 million - including a signing bonus of $132,012 - with the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, June 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kendrick was actually a reserve wide receiver on Clemson's national championship team before being moved to corner and transferred to Georgia after he was dismissed from Clemson before last season. He was good enough to make second-team All-SEC and was the Orange Bowl defensive MVP, picking off two passes in the win over Michigan. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [PIT - Pittsburgh inks Calvin Austin to rookie deal]() Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley Fourth-round draft choice WR Calvin Austin (Memphis) signed a four-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, June 6. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Austin is small, but fast and dynamic with the ball in his hands. He could be the long-term slot receiver if he hits and Diontae Johnson leaves in free agency next year, but like Johnson, Austin can play inside and out. He's worth a bench spot in typical dynasty leagues in light of the Steelers recent track record of developing draft picks at wide receiver.
