[DEN - Nathaniel Hackett meeting with Denver again](=) Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tom Silverstein Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is scheduled to have a second interview for the Denver Broncos' head coaching vacancy Monday, Jan. 24. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hackett might be the favorite to land the Broncos job. Not only because of his work as a coach, but also because Hackett is a favorite of QB Aaron Rodgers. With the Broncos expected to be the top suitor for Denver, hiring Hackett to help lure Rodgers to the Mile High City makes sense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [KC - WR Josh Gordon waived]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Kansas City Chiefs WR [Josh Gordon](=) was waived Monday, Jan. 24. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gordon has been a healthy scratch for the playoffs. With the Chiefs advancing to the AFC Championship, they'll likely put Gordon on the practice squad if he clears waivers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [DEN - Dan Quinn a Denver finalist?](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is believed to be one of two finalists for the Denver Broncos' head coaching vacancy. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Quinn is a finalist for Denver for a few reasons. First, he has a previous working relationship with Broncos GM George Paton from their time with the Dolphins years ago. Next, Quinn is the only candidate the Broncos have interviewed with previous head coaching experience. Finally, the Broncos are looking for a leader per Paton, and Quinn is a coach who is known to be beloved by his players. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [BUF - Josh Allen a big fan of QB Coach Ken Dorsey]( Source: NFL Network - Mike Giardi Buffalo Bills quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator Ken Dorsey has a 'huge advocate' in QB [Josh Allen](=), hinting that Dorsey would be his preferred choice as the offensive coordinator if Brian Daboll is hired as a head coach by another team this offseason. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We could see Dorsey get a promotion if/when Daboll is hired as a head coach. The Giants seem to be his likely destination with former Bills executive Joe Schoen just hired as their new general manager. If Dorsey has Allen's stamp of approval that's good enough for the Bills to move him up the ranks. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [NCAA - Brian Billick takes college assistant job]() Source: Pro Football Network - Aaron Wilson Former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick was hired as an offensive analyst and advisor by Arizona State University on Monday, Jan. 24. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Sun Devils head coach Herm Edwards needs some help on his offense, and Billick should be able to do that. This move reunites Billick with his former defensive coordinator in Baltimore, Marvin Lewis, who ASU's defensive analyst. Arizona State now has three former NFL head coaches on staff. [LVR - Jerod Mayo interviewing with Las Vegas](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport New England Patriots linebackers coach Jerod Mayo will interview for the Las Vegas Raiders' head coaching vacancy Tuesday, Jan. 25. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]Rumblings have indicated that Mayo is going to leave for a head coaching job or he's not leaving the Patriots. As the linebackers coach, some felt Mayo would leave for a defensive coordinator position but that's not the case. The Raiders had interim head coach Rich Bisaccia lead them to the postseason, but they are going to make a full coaching search before making a decision. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [MIA - MIA defender not a QB Tua Tagovailoa fan]( Source: DolphinsWire - Mike Masala Miami Dolphins QB [Tua Tagovailoa](=) 'can't make every throw,' an unnamed member of the Dolphins defense said, according to a report by Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly. '(Tagovailoa) is only going to take us so far. I'm wasting my career here if that's what we're doing.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tagovailoa has had an up-and-down career so far with the Dolphins. Former head coach Brian Flores is gone, so we'll see who the Dolphins bring in to try and get more from the young passer. Tagovailoa had the makings of a franchise quarterback coming out of Alabama a few years ago. He has yet to fully play up to that potential consistently, and 2022 seems like a make-or-break year for him and the Dolphins. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [TB - TE Rob Gronkowski would consider returning]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE [Rob Gronkowski](=) said he'd consider returning to the Bucs even if QB [Tom Brady](=) retires. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The word before the Divisional Round was that Brady would retire after this season. Nobody knows for sure, but Brady is likely to take some time before deciding to hang up his cleats. If Brady is back, Gronkowski would be there with him. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [NYG - Brian Daboll having second Giants interview]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is interviewing for the New York Giants' head coaching position again Monday, Jan. 24. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Daboll seems like the front runner for the Giants job. He's got the resume with the spectacular work he's done with QB Josh Allen. Daboll also has a working relationship with new Giants GM Joe Schoen as the new general manager was just hired away from the Bills last week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [PIT - Patrick Graham in running to fill DC vacancy]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero New York Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham was requested to interview for the same position with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, Jan. 24. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Graham interviewed for the Giants head coaching position but seems unlikely to get the job. It's wise to try and make a lateral move to the Steelers. They are looking for a new DC after Keith Butler's retirement. Graham coached for several seasons under Bill Belichick with the Patriots and has also coached with the Giants, Packers, and Dolphins.
