[] 1. [TB - RB Leonard Fournette participates](=) Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB [Leonard Fournette](=) (hamstring) participated in the walkthrough Wednesday, Jan. 19. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fournette was extremely questionable for the Wild Card Round, and he missed the game due to this hamstring injury. If he's participating in a walkthrough on Wednesday, then perhaps he's getting closer to a return. The Buccaneers are home to face the Rams on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [GB - WR Randall Cobb back](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Green Bay Packers WR [Randall Cobb](=) (abdomen) is expected to play in the Divisional round after missing seven weeks from surgery on a core muscle. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] They haven't activated him from IR but he is eligible to come off that list. If Cobb returns for the game against the 49ers, he gives QB Aaron Rodgers another target he trusts. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [MIA - MIA to meet with two](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will interview for the Miami Dolphins' head coaching vacancy Thursday, Jan. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moore and Quinn are making the rounds...and they have plenty of free time after the Cowboys couldn't get past the 49ers in the Wild Card Round. The Dolphins are looking for the right head coach to mesh with QB Tua Tagovailoa. That could be someone like Moore, who has been seen as an up-and-coming bright mind in coaching circles. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [PIT - QB Dwayne Haskins has a shot]() Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Brian Batko Pittsburgh Steelers QB Dwayne Haskins said he'll have a chance to compete for the starting quarterback position next year. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The post-Roethlisberger era with the Steelers will have some struggles - especially since reports and buzz around the team indicate they will not make a play for a top-tier quarterback via trade this offseason. That means Haskins and Mason Rudolph could be their options in 2022...with maybe a rookie thrown into the mix as well. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [MIA - Vance Joseph to meet with Miami](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Vance Joseph will interview for the Miami Dolphins' head coaching vacancy Friday, Jan. 21. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Joseph has previously been with a head coach for two years with the Broncos. Things weren't great, but Joseph was stripped of any power almost immediately in Denver. He's been a good defensive coordinator for the Cardinals since leaving the Broncos, and Joseph has been with the Dolphins before as he was their defensive coordinator for one year back in 2016. He will likely be a better head coach his second time around. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DEN - Brian Callahan interviewing with DEN](=) Source: MMQB - Albert Breer Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan will interview for the Denver Broncos' head coaching position Thursday, Jan. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brian Callahan has never been a head coach in the NFL, but he's certainly well respected for the work he's done with the Bengals offense. The Broncos are looking high and low to find the right coach, and their offense needs a ton of work - even though they have good players on that side of the ball. Perhaps they decide that Callahan is their guy. [] 7. [DEN - Kevin O'Connell to meet with Broncos](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O'Connell will interview for the Denver Broncos' head coaching position Friday, Jan. 21. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] O'Connell is a former quarterback who could get the Broncos offense right. For years, since the retirement of Peyton Manning, the Broncos have not been able to find quality quarterback play. If they get that right, and get an offensive minded coach like O'Connell, then the offensive weapons they have - and they have quite a few (Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, Noah Fant) could start playing up to their potential. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [LVR - Rich Bisaccia interviewing with team](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Las Vegas Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia will interview for the full-time position with the Raiders Wednesday, Jan. 19. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Raiders elevated Bisaccia to interim head coach back in October, and he led the Raiders to the playoffs. He's known as a great leader and certainly has the respect of the team. The Raiders may decide to just keep Bisaccia at the top and remove the "interim" label. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [CHI - Matt Eberflus to meet again with Bears]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus will interview for the Chicago Bears head coaching position again next week. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Jaguars and the Bears seem to have Eberflus as the top contender for their head coaching vacancies. He's never been a head coach at any level, and Eberflus is clearly a defensive minded head coach. The Bears need to find a coach who will get the most from QB Justin Fields, so Eberflus would have to crush the OC hire in order to do that. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [MIA - RB Thomas Brown to interview with Miami]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Los Angeles Rams running back coach/assistant head coach Thomas X. Brown will interview for the Miami Dolphins' head coaching vacancy Friday, Jan. 21. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brown was hired as the running backs coach for the Rams back in 2020. A former running back himself, Brown is known for building strong relationships with his players. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [NYG - Adam Peters getting a second meeting with NYG]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero San Francisco 49ers assistant general manager Adam Peters will interview for the New York Giants general manager vacancy Thursday, Jan. 20, for the second time. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Peters has been a fast riser in the scouting world. He's been tagged as a potential GM candidate by those in the know, and Peters would bring a great eye for talent no matter where he lands. The Giants need a better executive branch after struggling with GM Dave Gettleman and HC Joe Judge.
