[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mixon is out and QB Joe Burrow is not playing. The Bengals turn to Samaje Perine and rookie Chris Evans in the backfield. If they don't rest him, they may choose to put him on a snap count in order to give rookie Jaret Patterson more playing time. [CHI - QB Justin Fields good to go]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Chicago Bears QB [Justin Fields](=) (ankle) will practice Wednesday, Jan. 5, and will start in Week 18. However, the Vikings are going to play their starters and push the Bears in what should be head coach Matt Nagy's final game. Fields is the future for the Bears, and his rushing ability gives him QB1 potential anytime he's starting - even with bad game plans from Nagy. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bridgewater is set to be a free agent in 2022. There's a chance the Broncos bring him back to be a bridge quarterback to a rookie. If Bridgewater does not return to the Broncos, he may have a difficult time finding a starting job. It looks like Davis Mills is going to be the starting quarterback in 2022, and it's good news that he's got a connection with Cooks as the top target.
