[MIN - QB Kirk Cousins out for Week 17]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Minnesota Vikings QB [Kirk Cousins](=) was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Dec. 31, and he's out for Week 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said QB Sean Mannion will start in Week 17 against the Packers. We wanted to see rookie QB Kellen Mond but oh well, Mannion gets the nod instead. Downgrade WR Justin Jefferson with Mannion running the show. [WAS - RB Antonio Gibson to COVID list]( Source: The Washington Post - Nicki Jhabvala Washington Football Team RB [Antonio Gibson](=) was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Dec. 31. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gibson is unlikely to play in Week 17, leaving WFT with Jaret Patterson as their top back. Patterson should get plenty of work as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. We like him as a flex play with upside in Week 17. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [TB - WR Antonio Brown a game-time call]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Antonio Brown](=) (ankle) tweaked his ankle in practice this week, and he'll be a game-time decision for Week 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fantasy GMs were super excited about Brown in the fantasy playoffs, especially after last week's performance. Now, you'll have to check before kickoff to see if Brown is going to suit up for the Buccaneers. Tom Brady may be leaning on TE Rob Gronkowski and WR Tyler Johnson in Week 17. WR Breshad Perriman is coming back from the COVID list this week as well. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [NYJ - WR Elijah Moore out again](=) Source: New York Post - Brian Costello New York Jets WR [Elijah Moore](=) (quadriceps) is out for Week 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There was a chance that Moore would be available on Sunday but that's not the case. The Jets are also likely to be without WR Jamison Crowder in Week 17. That moves Braxton Berrios into their top wide receiver spot. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [DET - QB Jared Goff doubtful]( Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman Detroit Lions QB [Jared Goff](=) (knee) is doubtful for Week 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tim Boyle gets the nod for the Lions this week. That means RB D'Andre Swift should get as much work as possible. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [TB - WR Mike Evans activated]( Source: Buccaneers.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Mike Evans](=) was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Dec. 31. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Evans may be able to play in Week 17. He's dealing with a hamstring injury, so make sure to check on his status before you set-and-forget your fantasy lineup. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [DET - D'Andre Swift will play]( Source: ESPN.com - Eric Woodyard Detroit Lions RB D'Andre Swift (shoulder) looks fresh and ready to go for Week 17, according to head coach Dan Campbell. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Lions will lean on Swift early and often against the Seahawks. Tim Boyle will start at quarterback with Jared Goff (knee) out, so expect him to hand off and pass to Swift as much as possible. [JAX - Laviska Shenault activated]() Source: Jaguars.com - Ashlyn Sullivan Jacksonville Jaguars WR [Laviska Shenault](=) Jr. was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Dec. 31. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We still like Shenault in dynasty formats, but he has not produced up to the expected level as a pro. We'll see who the Jaguars hire as head coach and what that means for QB Trevor Lawrence and the weapons in the offense like Shenault. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [DET - WR Josh Reynolds could play]( Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman Detroit Lions WR [Josh Reynolds](=) could be activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list in time to play in Week 17 as long as he's asymptomatic, and it's trending in that direction. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We'll see if Reynolds can play in Week 17. If he's out there, it will take some targets from rookie WR Amon-Ra St. Brown who has become a target hog with Reynolds and TE T.J. Hockenson out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [PHI - RB Jordan Howard questionable](=) Source: Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane Philadelphia Eagles RB [Jordan Howard](=) (neck) is questionable for Week 17 because of a stinger. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Howard has flex appeal in Week 17 if he plays. If Howard misses the game, Boston Scott moves into RB1 consideration for Fantasy GMs playing in the championship. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [BUF - Buffalo's Week 17 injury report]( Source: Buffalo Bills PR Buffalo Bills WR [Emmanuel Sanders](=) (knee) did not practice for a second straight day Friday, Dec. 31, and is listed as questionable for Week 17 versus the Atlanta Falcons. DT Ed Oliver (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is also listed as questionable. WR [Stefon Diggs](=) (rest) did not practice on Friday but is expected to play. DE Mario Addison (rest, forearm) and RB Taiwan Jones (knee) were limited in practice on Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. DT Vernon Butler (illness), S Micah Hyde (forearm), S Jaquan Johnson (illness), S Jordan Poyer (shoulder) and RB [Devin Singletary](=) (ankle) practiced in full on Friday and also have been removed from the injury report. DE Jerry Hughes (rest) was not given a practice designation for a second straight day on Friday but is also expected to be active. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Sanders is not a player Fantasy GMs are going to be relying on in Week 17. The Bills will have Diggs and Cole Beasley as their top two targets. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [WAS - Week 17 injury report for Washington]( Source: WashingtonFootball.com Washington Football Team OT Samuel Cosmi (illness) and CB William Jackson III (calf) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 17 versus the Philadelphia Eagles. RB [Antonio Gibson](=) (hip) did not practice for a second consecutive day Friday, Dec. 31, and has also been ruled out. DE Montez Sweat (personal) did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. WR [Curtis Samuel](=) (hamstring) and DE James Smith-Williams (illness) were limited in practice all week and are also listed as questionable. CB Kendall Fuller (personal) did not practice on Friday but is expected to play. OT Saahdiq Charles (ankle) and QB [Taylor Heinicke](=) (knee) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gibson is out of action in Week 17 (most likely), so that means WFT is going to lean on rookie RB Jaret Patterson. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [PHI - Philadelphia's injury report for Week 17]( Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Philadelphia Eagles RB [Miles Sanders](=) (hand) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Washington Football Team. RB [Jordan Howard](=) (stinger) was limited in practice for a second straight day Friday, Dec. 31, and is listed as questionable. DT Fletcher Cox (rest), RB [Kenneth Gainwell](=) (ankle), OG Nate Herbig (knee), QB [Jalen Hurts](=) (ankle), OT Lane Johnson (rest), C Jason Kelce (rest) and S K'Von Wallace (hip) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Watch out for Howard as his status could come down right before game time. We could see Boston Scott get a sizable workload in Week 17.
