[LVR - TE Darren Waller ruled out for Week 13]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Las Vegas Raiders TE [Darren Waller](=) (back, knee) on Saturday, Dec. 4, was downgraded to out for the team's Week 13 game Sunday against the Washington Football Team. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Waller needs time to heal, so he goes to the bench. Fantasy GMs have other options, but they may not be as enticing as Waller is on a weekly basis. The Raiders turn to Foster Moreau with Waller out...and he's not a bad tight end in his own right. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [LVR - TE Foster Moreau has TE1 profile]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Las Vegas Raiders TE [Foster Moreau](=) will be counted on as the team's top tight end Sunday against the Washington Football Team with TE [Darren Waller](=) (knee, back) ruled out of the contest Saturday. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moreau could start for a lot of teams out there in the NFL, but he's a backup behind Waller with the Raiders. There is no doubt he could post TE1 numbers this week. Fantasy GMs who are without Waller may be turning to Moreau in Week 13. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [SEA - RB Adrian Peterson has good chance of playing]() Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio Seattle Seahawks RB [Adrian Peterson](=) has a realistic chance of playing in Week 13's game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to head coach Pete Carroll. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Alex Collins (core), Rashaad Penny (hamstring), and Travis Homer (calf) are all questionable but it seems like they may play. Peterson has been activated off the practice squad and may get a small handful of carries against the 49ers in Week 13. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott not likely to see reduced workload]() Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Michael David Smith Dallas Cowboys RB [Ezekiel Elliott](=) (knee) should be able to handle a full workload for the remainder of the season, even though he has been playing through a knee injury, according to a radio interview with owner Jerry Jones on 105.3 The Fan. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones said this last week before the Thursday night game against the Saints. In Week 13, Elliot received 15 touches (13 carries, two catches) while his backup Tony Pollard touched the ball nine times (seven carries, two catches). At this point, with Elliott playing at less than 100 percent, Pollard is the better back. He certainly was the better fantasy play as he gained more yards than Elliott and scored a rushing touchdown against the Saints. Expect the same going forward so long as Jones insists Elliott will keep getting more touches. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [LAC - WR Keenan Allen on a roll]( Source: ESPN.com Los Angeles Chargers WR [Keenan Allen](=) has recorded at least seven receptions and 85 yards in four consecutive games, and he has been targeted 47 times during that span. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mike Williams has been up-and-down...not just this year but most of his career...but Allen is steady as can be. Allen can be counted on each week as at least a low-end WR1. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [BUF - WR Stefon Diggs gets rest day]() Source: SiriusXM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan Buffalo Bills WR [Stefon Diggs](=) (non-injury) on Saturday, Dec. 4, received a veteran rest day off practice. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bills are at home against the Patriots on Monday Night Football. There's no snow in the forecast, but it's going to be windy and cold. The Patriots are going to do what they can to take Diggs away, but Fantasy GMs are still going to look to him as a low-end WR1 in Week 13. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [IND - RB Jonathan Taylor to stay hot?]() Source: ESPN.com Indianapolis Colts RB [Jonathan Taylor](=) faces the Houston Texans in Week 13, and the Texans rank 31st in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns allowed this season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Taylor would stay hot regardless of the opponent. He's playing like the best running back in the league and can produce at a high level anytime he gets the rock. Watching Taylor play football is just fun, for Colts fans, NFL fans and Fantasy GMs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- FOOTBALLGUYS PICKS WIN MORE. [CHI - RB David Montgomery has been busy]( Source: ESPN.com - Jeff Dickerson Chicago Bears RB [David Montgomery](=) has handled 83 percent of the running backs touches since Chicago's Week 10 bye. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With Andy Dalton at quarterback, Montgomery should stay busy so long as he can withstand the weekly punishment. Fantasy GMs can look to him as a low-end RB1 based on his workload and talent as a runner. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [CHI - QB Nick Foles to serve as No. 2 QB]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Chicago Bears QB Nick Foles will serve as the team's backup quarterback for Week 13's game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to head coach Matt Nagy. QB [Andy Dalton](=) will receive the starting nod because QB [Justin Fields](=) (ribs) is expected to miss the game due to bruised ribs. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That makes sense because Fields is coming back from cracked ribs. That's a pain tolerance issue and it cannot be rushed during the recovery process. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [SEA - RB Adrian Peterson to be activated](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks RB [Adrian Peterson](=) will be activated from the practice squad in time for Week 13's game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Seattle needed veteran depth, especially with Alex Collins (core), Rashaad Penny (hamstring), and Travis Homer (calf) all questionable. Against the 49ers in Week 13, Peterson may get some work in this jam-packed backfield but none are great fantasy options. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [CIN - WR Auden Tate placed on injured reserve]( Source: Bengals.com Cincinnati Bengals WR [Auden Tate](=) (calf) on Saturday, Dec. 4, was placed on the Reserve/Injured list with a calf injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tate, a seventh-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft, has never played a full 16-game season in his pro career. He's flashed a bit, mostly in 2019, and Tate will be an unrestricted free agent in 2022. We'll keep monitoring him in dynasty formats. He could go somewhere else next season and push for more playing time than he got with the Bengals. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [DEN - RB Javonte Williams to see bulk of carries](=) Source: NFL.com - Kevin Patra Denver Broncos RB [Javonte Williams](=) is set to receive the bulk of the carries in Week 13's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Vic Fangio. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is what Fantasy GMs have been waiting for. Williams leads the league in rushing...for players who don't start. He's an incredibly talented rusher and receiver out of the backfield who will not go down without a fight. The Broncos are up against it on the road against the Chiefs on Sunday night. We love Williams, but don't get carried away with projections in this game. Williams should get around 100 all-purpose yards and maybe score a touchdown against the Chiefs. That's worth considering as a RB2 with upside in Week 13. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [CIN - RB Trayveon Williams, RB Pooka Williams join roster]( Source: Bengals.com Cincinnati Bengals RB [Trayveon Williams](=) on Saturday, Dec. 4, was signed to the Week 13 roster from the practice squad while WR Pooka Williams was elevated to the roster from the practice squad. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bengals needed some help at both positions due to injuries. RB Chris Evans (ankle), WR Auden Tate (IR - calf) and WR Mike Thomas (illness) did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful for Week 13 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Trayveon Williams will serve as a backup behind starter Joe Mixon and no.2 RB Samaje Perine. Pooka Williams gives them another slot receiving option but is unlikely to get much playing time.
