[GB - RB Kerryon Johnson works out for Packers](#12) 13. [KC - RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire uncertain for Week 11](#13) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [ATL - RB Cordarrelle Patterson a game-time call]() Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein Atlanta Falcons RB [Cordarrelle Patterson](=) (ankle) practiced all week, but he'll be a game-time decision Thursday, Nov. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Patterson is banged up, and his status on Monday was in question. However, going through practice this week is a good sign that he can suit up against the Patriots. Fantasy GMs have been having fun with Patterson in the lineup as a RB2/WR2/flex option. If he plays, consider him as you normally would. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NYJ - QB Joe Flacco to start]() Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini New York Jets QB [Joe Flacco](=) will start against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mike White turned in a four-interception performance last week against the Bills and heads back to the bench. 2021 first-round pick Zach Wilson (knee) is not yet ready to resume starting, so Flacco gets to start. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [CAR - QB Cam Newton on track to start]() Source: NFL Network - Cameron Wolfe Carolina Panthers QB [Cam Newton](=) is the leading candidate to be the starting quarterback for the Week 11 game, but head coach Matt Rhule will not make an official announcement until later in the week. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rhule doesn't need to make an announcement, everyone knows Newton is going to be the starter. Fantasy GMs should've picked him up off the waiver wire, and QB1 upside is there with Newton because of his rushing ability, talent as a passer...and the huge chip on his shoulder. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [ARI - QB Kyler Murray practicing](=) Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban Arizona Cardinals QB [Kyler Murray](=) (ankle) practiced Wednesday, Nov. 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Murray practiced last Friday but missed Week 10. He's missed two games with this ankle injury but is trending in the right way. Get ready to boost the projections for your Carindals skill position players if Murray is able to play in Week 11 against the Seahawks. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [DET - QB Jared Goff out of practice]( Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett Detroit Lions QB [Jared Goff](=) (oblique) is out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 17, and is day to day. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We could see Tim Boyle as the starting quarterback for the Lions if Goff can't play. That may or may not downgrade the skill position players like TE T.J. Hockenson or RB D'Andre Swift. Those are the only two Lions players you'll be considering as starters in Week 11. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CLE - RB Kareem Hunt out for Week 11](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jim Trotter Cleveland Browns RB [Kareem Hunt](=) (calf) will be out again in Week 11, but he's getting close to returning, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This calf injury has kept Hunt out for five games now, but it may not keep him out for much longer. In Week 11, the Browns turn to Nick Chubb and behind him D'Ernest Johnson in the backfield. We'll have to see if Chubb gets activated from the Reserve/COVID list. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [WAS - RB Antonio Gibson listed as limited]() Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan Washington Football Team RB [Antonio Gibson](=) (shin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gibson has been limited with this shin injury for some time. Against the Panthers in Week 11, Gibson is his usual RB2 option for Fantasy GMs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- FOOTBALLGUYS PICKS WIN MORE. [BAL - QB Lamar Jackson misses practice]( Source: NFL.com - Kevin Patra Baltimore Ravens QB [Lamar Jackson](=) (illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 17, because of a non-COVID related illness. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We'll see if Jackson can start feeling better later this week. So long as he gets to participate on Friday, we feel good about starting him...as per usual...as a QB1 in Week 11. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [WAS - No practice for TE Ricky Seals-Jones]() Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan Washington Football Team TE [Ricky Seals-Jones](=) (hip) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With Logan Thomas still coming back from a hamstring injury, Washington could be in trouble at the tight end position. If Seals-Jones can't play in Week 11, then John Bates might get a chance to be their top player at tight end. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [PIT - WR Chase Claypool listed as limited]( Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Chase Claypool](=) (toe) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Claypool's status for Week 11 is up in the air. Let's see what he can do on Friday before deciding on if it's worth putting in Claypool as a flex play. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [PHI - RB Miles Sanders designated to return]() Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Philadelphia Eagles RB [Miles Sanders](=) (ankle) has been designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Nov. 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] As per usual, this opens the 21-day window for the Eagles to activate Sanders or shut him down for the year. Keep an eye on Sanders status by Saturday, the last day they have to activate him if he's going to play in Week 11. The Eagles are running the hell out of the ball over the last few weeks, and Sanders would get some of that - along with Jordan Howard near the goal line (or to close out a game). Against a tough Saints defense in Week 11, Sanders would have flex appeal with the Eagles new philosophy on offense and his all-purpose skill set. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [GB - RB Kerryon Johnson works out for Packers](=) Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky Free-agent RB Kerryon Johnson (49ers) worked out for the Green Bay Packers Tuesday, Nov. 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Packers are just updating their emergency list here with Aaron Jones out a couple of weeks. They could sign Johnson to be part of the backfield behind interim starter A.J. Dillon. With rookie Kylin Hill out for the year, the Packers could use Johnson and Patrick Taylor as reserve backs while Jones is on the mend and Dillon is getting a large workload. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [KC - RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire uncertain for Week 11](=) Source: Kansas City Star - Herbie Teope Kansas City Chiefs RB [Clyde Edwards-Helaire](=) (knee) could be held out until after the Week 12 bye so he can have more time to recover, according to head coach Andy Reid. Reid said the team wants to see how Edwards-Helaire performs during practice this week before making a decision. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With the way that Darrel Williams has been playing, the Chiefs might give Edwards-Helaire some more rest. Keep an eye on his practice status during the week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks.
