[NO - QB Jameis Winston indeed has torn ACL](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Updating previous reports, New Orleans Saints QB [Jameis Winston](=) (knee) had tests confirm a torn anterior cruciate ligament Monday, Nov. 1. He also has damage to the medial collateral ligament. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bad news for the Saints, and just sad news for Winston. He'll be shut down for the year and the Saints move forward with a different starter. Taysom Hill should be that guy, but he hasn't played since sustaining a concussion in Week 5. It was Trevor Siemian who came in for Winston against the Buccaneers in Week 8 and led them to the win. Watch Hill's practice status and make him the top waiver wire priority if you need QB help (and if he's out there...which he might be). [TEN - RB Adrian Peterson agrees to join Tennessee]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Updating a previous report, free-agent RB Adrian Peterson (Lions) was signed to the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans on Monday, Nov. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The move was expected with Derrick Henry having foot surgery and likely to miss the rest of the regular season. We will see the Titans move forward with a greater emphasis on the passing game without Henry. Peterson is going to earn a large role on early downs once he's up to speed in the offense. Hilton out for Week 9](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Indianapolis Colts WR [T.Y. Hilton](=) (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 9 Thursday, Nov. 4, due to a concussion. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's a short week for the Colts as they play against the Jets in Week 9 on Thursday night. Hilton has battled through multiple injuries, so we'll have to see what his practice status is next week as he goes through the concussion protocol. [TEN - RB Derrick Henry out for a while](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Tennessee Titans RB [Derrick Henry](=) (foot) is scheduled to undergo surgery on his foot Tuesday, Nov. 2, and is expected to miss six to 10 weeks. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bad news for the Titans as Henry is the centerpiece of their offense. They're adding Adrian Peterson, and we'll see how quickly he can pick up the offense. Jeremy McNichols should also see significant work for the Titans. [JAX - RB James Robinson all good]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Jacksonville Jaguars RB [James Robinson](=) (foot) escaped serious injury in Week 8, and he's day to day with a potential questionable status for Week 9. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Good news for the Jaguars. Robinson was replaced by Carlos Hyde after he went down in Week 8. We'll watch his practice status as the week goes on, keeping an eye on Friday's participation specifically. The Jaguars are at home to take on the Bills in Week 9. [ARI - QB Kyler Murray has sprained ankle](=) Source: The Arizona Republic - Bob McManaman Arizona Cardinals QB [Kyler Murray](=) (ankle) suffered a sprained ankle Thursday, Oct. 28, that FOX Sports' Jay Glazer described as a 'one-to-three week sprain.' If Murray arrives at the team facility Monday, Nov. 1, and the swelling in his ankle is significantly reduced, he has a decent chance of playing in Week 9. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Cardinals are coming off their first loss of the season last Thursday against the Packers. [DEN - DEN gets two picks for OLB Von Miller]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Denver Broncos LB Von Miller and $9 million cash were traded to the Los Angeles Rams Monday, Nov. 1, in exchange for a second- and third-round pick in 2022. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's the end of an era in Denver. Miller, their first-round pick at no.2 overall in the 2011 NFL draft, has been a force for years and was MVP of Super Bowl 50 after the 2015 season. The Broncos are in full rebuild mode, and now only have one player remaining (Brandon McManus) from their Super Bowl roster. We'll see what his practice status is on Thursday and most importantly Friday as the Packers prepare for their road game against the Chiefs in Week 9. [HOU - QB Tyrod Taylor getting closer to return?]() Source: HoustonTexans.com - Deepi Sidhu Houston Texans QB [Tyrod Taylor](=) (hamstring) reportedly took some reps with the first team last week and is considered day-to-day, according to head coach David Culley. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Culley has said that Taylor is the starter when healthy. Even though Davis Mills is playing decent football, the rookie is likely to go back to the bench. Mills has a chance to be their quarterback of the future, so further development - and most importantly starts - should be a priority. He only started 11 games at Stanford and could use the work. [ATL - TE Kyle Pitts saw more attention]( Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein Atlanta Falcons TE [Kyle Pitts](=) said his role didn't change in Week 8, but he saw more coverage over the top on him. He had just two catches for 13 yards. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Falcons should continue to feature Pitts more and more as the season goes on. WR Calvin Ridley is stepping away from football for personal reasons, so the Falcons offense is down a major playmaker. That's where Pitts can come into play, and over the last few weeks they've been making efforts to get him more involved. Expect that to continue going forward.
