[HOU - A deal done this week with Miami for Deshaun Watson?]( Source: John McClain, Houston Chronicle Long time Houston writer, John McClain reports he believes the Texans, Dolphins could have Deshaun Watson deal done this week. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] A couple of things. McClain is a long time Houston guy. This isn't some random blogger claiming something. When McClain talks about the Texans, I listen. Second, this is just talk at this point. It does have validity though as we've heard rumblings along these lines for a while. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CLE - QB Baker Mayfield ruled out]() Source: ClevelandBrowns.com - Andrew Gribble Cleveland Browns QB [Baker Mayfield](=) (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 7. QB [Case Keenum](=) will start in his place. This will end Mayfield's streak of 51 consecutive starts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Going with Keenum over a banged-up Mayfield is not much of a downgrade if at all. Keenum knows the system and might be looking for a little revenge against his former team (the Broncos) on Thursday night. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [NYG - RB Saquon Barkley idle]() Source: New York Daily News - Ralph Vacchiano New York Giants RB [Saquon Barkley](=) (ankle) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Giants will see if Barkley can practice later in the week with Friday being the key day for his availability in Week 7. Devontae Booker will have another week as the lead back if Barkley can't go. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [KC - WR Tyreek Hill out of practice](=) Source: The Athletic - Nate Taylor Kansas City Chiefs WR [Tyreek Hill](=) (quadriceps) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Check back on Friday to see if Hill can be a full participant. He played through the pain of this injury in Week 6 and may have to do the same thing in Week 7. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [IND - WR T.Y. Hilton out of practice](=) Source: ESPN.com - Mike Wells Indianapolis Colts WR [T.Y. Hilton](=) (quadriceps) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hilton just came back last week from a neck injury but left with a quad injury. He's supposedly day-to-day with this new injury and that leaves his Week 7 status in question. If he plays against the 49ers in Week 7, we like Hilton as a WR3/flex play. It's a Sunday night game, so Fantasy GMs are going to have to have other options at the ready. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [NYG - WR Kadarius Toney out of practice]() Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano New York Giants WR [Kadarius Toney](=) (ankle) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Reports indicate that Toney will miss a week or two with this ankle injury. The team is not going to put him on Injured Reserve, so a week or two absence sounds about right for the talented rookie. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [BUF - TE Dawson Knox to miss time]() Source: NFL.com Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills TE [Dawson Knox](=) (hand) is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks after undergoing hand surgery, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The timetable was originally unknown, but now it seems like a few weeks is what it will take for Knox to recover. The Bills are off this week, and when they return Tommy Sweeney will be their top tight end. Losing Knox for a game or two, WR Gabriel Davis could get a larger target share. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [CLE - RB Nick Chubb to miss Week 7]() Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich Cleveland Browns RB [Nick Chubb](=) (calf) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 20, and has been ruled out for Week 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Everyone knew that Chubb was not going to play on a short week. D'Ernest Johnson will be the lead back for the Browns against the Broncos in Week 7. He's worth considering as a RB2/flex option. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [CLE - TE David Njoku ready to play]() Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich Cleveland Browns TE [David Njoku](=) (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Njoku could take advantage of a Broncos defense that is historically weak against tight ends. Consider him a TE2 with upside in Week 7, and that's because the Browns have three tight ends who can attack an opponent...and we're not sure who QB Case Keenum is going to lean on. [DET - WR Geronimo Allison promoted](=) Source: DetroitLions.com Detroit Lions WR Geronimo Allison was promoted to the active roster Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Allison will see if he can help the Lions wide receiver position. They're not getting much production from Amon-Ra St. Brown or Kalif Raymond, but we're not going to expect much from Allison if he does get an opportunity. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [NYG - WR John Ross misses practice]() Source: Giants.com New York Giants WR [John Ross](=) (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ross has a limited role if he does get out there for the Giants. With his world-class speed, Ross is there to take the top off the defense. We'll see how much this hamstring injury slows him down. Ross had three catches for 77 yards and one touchdown in Week 4 against the Saints, but he's only caught one pass since then. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [BAL - TE Nick Boyle may return soon]() Source: NFL.com Baltimore Ravens TE Nick Boyle (knee) was cleared to practice Wednesday, Oct. 20, and has been designated from the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Ravens will have 21 days to determine if Boyle will be activated or remain on injured reserve. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [NYG - WR Kenny Golladay out of practice]() Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano New York Giants WR [Kenny Golladay](=) (knee) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This knee kept Golladay out of action in Week 6 and could do the same in Week 7. We'll know more about his availability against the Panthers on Friday. With Kadarius Toney (ankle) down, we could see lots of Sterling Shepard on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [PHI - TE Tyree Jackson begins practicing](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Philadelphia Eagles TE Tyree Jackson (back) has returned to practice while on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Oct. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jackson is a big-bodied converted quarterback who has made the transition to tight end. We'll monitor him in crazy deep dynasty formats to see if he can make plays as a tight end. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [NYG - WR Darius Slayton officially limited]() Source: Giants.com Updating a previous report, New York Giants WR [Darius Slayton](=) (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 30. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Giants are going to be without Kadarius Toney (ankle) and they may be without Kenny Gollday (knee) in Week 7. There's a larger role for Slayton if he's healthy enough to play. What should happen is a ton of targets for WR Sterling Shepard and a smattering of targets for everyone else in the Giants passing attack. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [CLE - Questionable tag for WR Odell Beckham]() Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich Cleveland Browns WR [Odell Beckham](=) Jr. (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That's not a great sign when the game is Thursday night. If Beckham plays against the Broncos, he could post good numbers against a defense that gives up big plays to the passing game. Consider Beckham a flex play if he's out there. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [LAC - LAC expected to sign WR Andre Roberts](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Free-agent WR [Andre Roberts](=) (Texans) is expected to sign with the Los Angeles Chargers, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Roberts has speed to burn, but he's primarily a special teams player. That's likely his role with the Chargers.
