[NO - RB Alvin Kamara held to 30 total yards]() Source: NFL.com New Orleans Saints RB [Alvin Kamara](=) rushed for five yards on eight carries against the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. He also caught four passes for 25 yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's time to get worried about Kamara as the Saints Week 1 outburst appears to be based more on the Packers morose approach to the game than the Saints offense turning the corner with Jameis Winston. Kamara still has to be in your lineup against the Patriots next week but Bill Belichick will certainly look to take Kamara away and force the Saints to rely on other players to hang in the game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [HOU - QB Tyrod Taylor set for MRI, out Week 3](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Updating a previous report, Houston Texans QB [Tyrod Taylor](=) (hamstring) will have an MRI Monday, Sept. 20, on the injured hamstring he suffered in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. He has been ruled out for the Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers, a Thursday game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That's early to be ruled out for next week. The Panthers defense is hot and now they'll get to face Davis Mills in his first NFL start. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [MIA - Tua Tagovailoa injury update]() Source: NFL Network - Cameron Wolfe Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins QB [Tua Tagovailoa](=) (rib) suffered a rib injury during the Week 2 game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tagovailoa appeared to be in significant pain here. Let's see how the test results go. Jacoby Brissett replaced Tagovailoa in the game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [PIT - OLB T.J. Watt suffers injury](=) Source: Steelers.com - Burt Lauten Pittsburgh Steelers LB T.J. Watt (groin) suffered a groin injury during the Week 2 game and is considered questionable to return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Watt is probably the most important player on the Steelers roster. The team was keeping him, Melvin Ingram and Alex Highsmith all fresh with a three-man rotation, but won't be able to employ that for the rest of the game. Watt hasn't been ruled out, but was seen on the sidelines without his helmet when the Raiders had the ball. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [PHI - DeVonta Smith crashes back to Earth](=) Source: ESPN Philadelphia Eagles WR [DeVonta Smith](=) posted two receptions for 16 yards on seven targets in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Eagles passing game was held in check facing someone other than the Falcons. Smith will have a chance to bounce back against the Cowboys next week and should be considered a what the heck flex. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [SF - Trey Sermon evaluated for head injury](=) Source: 49ers.com San Francisco 49ers RB Trey Sermon (head) exited the Week 2 game in the second half against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a head injury, and he is being evaluated for concussion. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Sermon had a good carry before the injury and should get another chance as soon as he can play again, although the 49ers clearly prefer Elijah Mitchell right now. Sermon is worth holding unless you're in a short bench league. Look for the 49ers to possibly sign a veteran back this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [PIT - WR Diontae Johnson helped off the field]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Diontae Johnson](=) (lower body) suffered an apparent lower-body injury on the final play of the Week 2 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, and he was helped off the field by two members of the training staff. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It sucks to see Johnson go out on a meaningless play, as the Steelers were down nine and had no chance to win. James Washington would be the next man up, but Juju Smith-Schuster would be the main fantasy beneficiary of a long Johnson absence as the Steelers pass offense is limited to the horizontal dimension. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [SF - WR Deebo Samuel flirts with century mark](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers WR [Deebo Samuel](=) registered six receptions for a team-high 93 yards on eight targets in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Samuel was the clear #1 receiver for the 49ers as Brandon Aiyuk was still just a complementary piece in the passing game. Samuel is a solid fantasy WR2 heading into a matchup with the Packers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [NE - RB James White involved in run, pass game]() Source: NFL.com New England Patriots RB [James White](=) rushed for 20 yards and one touchdown on five carries against the New York Jets in Week 2. He also caught six passes for 45 yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] White finished a drive and he was the steadiest target for Mac Jones in a budding passing game relationship. Consider him a good PPR flex play against the Saints next week with the potential to level off as a fantasy RB2. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [HOU - WR Danny Amendola injured](=) Source: HoustonTexans.com Houston Texans WR [Danny Amendola](=) (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 2 game and will not return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Texans also lost Nico Collins earlier in the game. Andre Roberts will be pressed into duty in the slot. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [LAR - RB Darrell Henderson injured]( Source: TheRams.com Los Angeles Rams RB [Darrell Henderson](=) (rib) suffered a rib injury during the Week 2 game and is considered questionable to return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Sony Michel looked great in relief of Henderson. If Michel starts next week, it will be against the stout Bucs run defense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [NYJ - Zach Wilson throws four INTs]() Source: NFL.com New York Jets QB [Zach Wilson](=) went 19-for-33 for 210 yards, zero touchdowns and four interceptions against the New England Patriots in Week 2. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Wilson's debut vs. Bill Belichick went as expected. It's difficult to evaluate him without much of an offensive line, but the running game was better this week. Things don't get much easier for Wilson next week against Denver. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [NE - TE Jonnu Smith quiet in Week 2]() Source: NFL.com New England Patriots TE [Jonnu Smith](=) caught four passes for 28 yards against the New York Jets in Week 2. He was targeted five times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Patriots pass offense is not going to be high volume and Mac Jones is going to spread the ball around with conservative passing. Smith is just a bye/injury option at tight end. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [CLE - WR Jarvis Landry injury update]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns WR [Jarvis Landry](=) (knee) is believed to have suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament during the Week 2 game, according to a source. He is scheduled to undergo more testing. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This could be a multi-week injury for Landry and we don't know Odell Beckham's status for next week. It's possible if not likely that Donovan Peoples-Jones, Anthony Schwartz, and Rashard Higgins will be the top three Falcons receivers next week against the Bears. [Sign Up Now](=) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [IND - QB Carson Wentz suffers injury]() Source: ESPN.com - Mike Wells Indianapolis Colts QB [Carson Wentz](=) (leg) left the Week 2 game early after suffering an apparent leg injury. QB Jacob Eason entered the game in place of Wentz. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Wentz was playing well against a tough defense other than a first half red zone miscue. The Colts fell to 0-2 and face their competition to win the division, the Titans, next week, possibly with Jacob Eason starting after Eason immediately threw an interception to lose the game this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [SF - Just one grab for Brandon Aiyuk](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk was active in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he had just one catch for six yards on two targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Aiyuk is just a bench stash at this point and definitely a drop in short bench leagues. He might be out of the doghouse, but he's not going to show up in the box score. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [NE - RB Damien Harris reaches end zone]() Source: NFL.com New England Patriots RB [Damien Harris](=) rushed for 62 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries against the New York Jets in Week 2. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rhamondre Stevenson was inactive so any worries about Harris losing work after fumbling the game away last week was not hovering over this game. Harris will face the Saints next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [PHI - Jalen Hurts does it with his feet](=) Source: ESPN Philadelphia Eagles QB [Jalen Hurts](=) completed 12-of-23 passes for 190 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, while running 10 times for a game-high 82 yards and a score. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hurts late rushing touchdown saved his fantasy day. He has been a fantasy QB1 so far through two games and should be in lineups against the Cowboys next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [SF - Elijah Mitchell cools off in Week 2](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers RB [Elijah Mitchell](=) rushed 17 times for 42 yards in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles and he was targeted twice, hauling in each for 11 yards. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mitchell was stopped just short of the goal line on one attempt and also left the game with a shoulder injury. The 49ers gave Mitchell the clear lead back job and nothing that happened today would change that when Mitchell is healthy again even though he was inefficient against a stout Eagles run defense. He'll try to get healthy for the matchup against Green Bay while Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys will face the Eagles next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [TEN - Taylor Lewan injured during warmups]( Source: CBS Sports - Andrew Catalon Tennessee Titans OT Taylor Lewan (leg) has been declared inactive for the Week 2 game after suffering a leg injury during pregame warmups. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Titans couldn't keep Chandler Jones out of the backfield last week. Now they will have to contend with the Seahawks pass rush without their anchor left tackle. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [NO - QB Jameis Winston struggles in Week 2]() Source: NFL.com New Orleans Saints QB [Jameis Winston](=) went 11-for-22 for 111 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions against the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. He also rushed for 19 yards and one touchdown on three carries. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Taysom Hill watch is on. The Saints were without their starting center, Erik McCoy, and couldn't get anything going in either aspect of the game. Bill Belichick and the Patriots are up in an ominous sign for the Saints offense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 22. [NYJ - Michael Carter leads team in rushing]() Source: NFL.com New York Jets RB [Michael Carter](=) rushed for 59 yards on 11 carries against the New England Patriots in Week 2. He also caught two passes for 29 yards during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Carter looked like the best back in the Jets backfield and certainly deserving of a waiver wire pickup in deeper leagues if he was dropped after a lackluster Week 1. We'll see how long it takes for the Jets to narrow the running back committee and give Carter more work off of this performance. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 23. [PHI - RB Miles Sanders posts mediocre line](=) Source: ESPN Philadelphia Eagles RB [Miles Sanders](=) ended up with 13 carries for 55 yards in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, and he added one grab for four yards on two targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Sanders wasn't the problem with the Eagles offense, but he wasn't the solution either. He looks like a middling fantasy RB2 at best, but he should have ample chance to bounce back against the Cowboys next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 24. [PHI - Quez Watkins tops the charts in Week 2]( Source: NBC Sports Philadelphia - John Clark Philadelphia Eagles WR [Quez Watkins](=) posted two receptions for 117 yards in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers. He has a 91-yard non-scoring play, and that was the fifth-longest play in franchise history. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Watkins speed is translating, so he's going be a mainstay in an already crowded low ceiling Eagles passing game. It's good for the team, but bad for fantasy football. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 25. [NYJ - WR Braxton Berrios plays well in Week 2]() Source: NFL.com New York Jets WR [Braxton Berrios](=) caught seven passes for 73 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 2. He was targeted 11 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Berrios, not Corey Davis was the leading receiver for the Jets. Some of this had to be Bill Belichick taking away a quarterback's comfort zone, especially a rookie quarterback, but Vic Fangio won't show any mercy next week. There is no one in the Jets offense that we can trust. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 26. [SF - QB Jimmy Garoppolo totals two TDs in win](=) Source: ESPN San Francisco 49ers QB [Jimmy Garoppolo](=) completed 22-of-30 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions while also running for 20 yards and a score in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Things didn't come as easily as they did last week against the weak Lions defense, but Garoppolo made enough plays to keep the Trey Lance talk at bay. The 49ers move to 2-0 with the Packers up next. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 27. [HOU - RB Mark Ingram doesn't do much in Week 2](=) Source: ESPN Houston Texans RB [Mark Ingram](=) rushed 14 times for 41 yards in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns and he had one catch for minus-1 yard on two targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ingram is going to lead this backfield in touches if he stays healthy, but without Tyrod Taylor, there's not going to be room for him to run. He's just an end of the bench emergency play at best and not worth carrying in short bench leagues.
