Bad news for Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins.[Per Adam Schefter](=): "J.K. Dobbins currently is undergoing his MRI, but the expectation going in was that he had suffered a season-ending knee injury, per sources." You can see [here how we were projecting the Ravens offense last night]() when there was still hope for a mid season return. Assuming Schefter is correct, and we don't have any reason to believe he's not, we'll be removing Dobbins from the 2021 projections. This one isn't overly complicated. [Gus Edwards]() is the next man up and should do well. Ty'Son Williams will also see work and will effectively be their RB2. Before the Dobbins injury, our Sigmund Bloom had this on Edwards in the [RB Tiers]() article: "Edwards has underrated week-to-week value as a finisher of drives and games, but you need him to score touchdowns to hit." Our Matt Waldman had this yesterday on Edwards: "Edwards can be a fantasy starter in this excellent Ravens run game if J.K. Dobbins injury is as serious as it appears. Although the Ravens re-signed Edwards this summer, they also didn't draft another runner. This is signals that they like what they have on their depth chart and I don't think it's just Edwards. TySon Williams is a name to remember. He has starter potential and he impressed late last summer and this month. Williams could have the role Edwards had in 2020." Edwards has never been much of a receiver and Lamar Jackson is often more effective taking off on a run than dumping the ball off to a RB. So don't go crazy pushing Edwards up the boards but this morning, but we see him around that RB20 range. And keep an eye on Ty'Son Williams for depth. And if you'd like an edge all season long on helping you win more at fantasy football, a [Footballguys Premium Subscription is your ticket](. Don't miss it.
