With Taylor working as the primary back and Nyheim Hines working as the change-of-pace back, there may not be much work for Mack early on. [HOU - QB Deshaun Watson trade talk heats up](=) Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson is the subject of 'mounting chatter' regarding a possible trade in the 'coming days,' according to multiple league sources Saturday, Aug. 28. It is believed the two top finalists to acquire Watson are the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Eagles were once thought to be at the top for Watson. Now, with the trade for Gardner Minshew, they are out of the running. That means the Panthers could look to upgrade from Sam Darnold by adding Watson. The Dolphins may be looking for an upgrade over Tua Tagovailoa if they added Watson. Either way, both teams would have to wait for Watson's legal issues (and possible suspension) to be behind him before he could play in a game. [PHI - QB Gardner Minshew acquired by Eagles]() Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Jacksonville Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew was acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles Saturday, Aug. 28, for a conditional sixth-round draft pick. QB Nick Mullens was released. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's a good place for Minshew to go with QB Jalen Hurts as the starter. Clearly, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni wants more from his quarterback position. Hurts and Joe Flacco competed for the starting job in camp, and now Minshew will get his chance to impress - even though the preseason is done. We'll see how this messy quarterback situation plays out. The pick traded to the Jaguars can become a fifth-round pick if Minshew plays 50 percent of the snaps in three games. [GB - Jordan Love to get start]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love (shoulder) will get the start in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 28, against the Buffalo Bills, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Love had the shoulder problem the team was monitoring closely. He must be good enough to get the start and get some reps before taking a seat for the 2021 season. Aaron Rodgers is there for one "Last Dance" with the Packers before likely leaving in 2022 and opening the door for Love to take over as the permanent starter.
