[KC - Clyde Edwards-Helaire's ankle examined](=) Source: Around The NFL Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) will have his injured right ankle examined Saturday, Aug. 21, but head coach Andy Reid and the team don't appear overly concerned about the injury. 'Clyde hurt his right ankle early,' Reid said after Friday night's preseason win in Arizona. 'He's got a slight sprain on the inside of his ankle. ... They're gonna check it tomorrow. . . . It doesn't look like a high-ankle sprain so that's always a good thing, but they'll double check it.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] So long as it's not a high-ankle sprain the things may be considered minor. We'll know more about his status when the team checks him further. [DAL - QB Dak Prescott on track for opener]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (shoulder) has had 'absolutely no setbacks' in his recovery from a shoulder injury earlier in August and remains on schedule to start the Sept. 9 regular season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a source on Saturday, Aug. 21. The source added that Prescott could've played in the preseason game Saturday night against the Houston Texans, but the Cowboys don't want to risk the issue in the preseason. Prescott likely would've played if this was the regular season but there's no need to rush him back during the preseason. [SF - WR Deebo Samuel underwent MRI](=) Source: NinersWire - Kyle Madson Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (gluteus) had an MRI on Friday after exiting early from the joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers earlier in the day. Winston has much more starting experience, but he has not been named the starter yet. Having a strong performance on Monday could help make the team's decision.
