[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The signing of Lamarcus Joyner probably took Davis out of starting consideration anyway, but with a new coaching regime in town, he can use all of the reps he can get. [LAC - Kenneth Murray positioned to shine]() Source: The Athletic - Daniel Popper Los Angeles Chargers LB Kenneth Murray said he was never comfortable with the defensive scheme in 2020 but feels head coach Brandon Staley's defense plays to his strengths. 'The big emphasis from him was getting me to play more downhill,' Murray said. 'That's what I'm really excited about: playing downhill, blitzing a lot more and being aggressive.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Chargers defense doesn't lack talent and ability, but it is possible that some of the players weren't used to their fullest of their potential. You wonder if the people responsible for drafting Murray watched him play at Oklahoma. This is good news for his IDP value and the direction of the Chargers defense. [MIA - ILB Jerome Baker agrees to extension](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Miami Dolphins LB Jerome Baker agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension with the Dolphins Sunday, June 13, worth $39 million. The deal includes $28.4 million in guaranteed money. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is a very optimistic contract for an offball linebacker, but he is only 24 and came alive as a pass rusher last year with seven sacks. He'll continue to be a frontline starter at linebacker in IDP leagues. [NFL - S Malik Hooker hopes to visit other teams](=) Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio Free-agent S Malik Hooker (Colts) said during an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio that he wants to visit more NFL teams before training camps open in July. He has already visited the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason. [NYJ - WR Jamison Crowder expected at minicamp](=) Source: ESPN.com - Rich Cimini New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder is expected to attend the mandatory minicamp this week even though he skipped some offseason workouts because of a contract situation. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] If Crowder skips this, it's a good sign that the relationship is over, or that Crowder wants it to be over. Don't let Crowder's presence on the roster deter you from taking Elijah Moore in redraft leagues, it's probably temporary. [NYJ - Details of proposed pay cut for WR Jamison Crowder revealed](=) Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini Updating a previous report, the New York Jets reportedly want WR Jamison Crowder to take at least a 50% pay cut on his non-guaranteed $10 million salary, meaning that the club wants to give him a maximum of $5 million, according to ESPN New York's Rich Cimini. Crowder skipped voluntary OTAs because of the contract disagreement but head coach Robert Saleh expects him to appear at this week's mandatory minicamp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Crowder might not get five million on the open market, so if that's all the pay cut would entail, he would be smart to accept it unless he's worried about being marginalized by sensational rookie Elijah Moore. Cimini also raises the possibility of Crowder getting traded even if he does accept the pay cut. Elijah Moore's time is coming sooner than later.
