[] 1. [CIN - RB Joe Mixon on a snap count?]( Source: ESPN.com - Ben Baby Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon will share some third-down responsibilities this season, according to head coach Zac Taylor. 'Having Joe Mixon on the field makes us better,' Taylor said. 'At the same time, you don't need him on the field for 75 snaps a game.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Samaje Perine is the backup to Mixon and would be first in line for snaps behind him. Chris Evans, the team's sixth round pick, has some passing game chops, and that role might be Trayveon Williams best route to make the team as the third running back. UDFA Pooka Williams is dynamic with the ball in his hands, and if he makes the team as a returner, he might figure into the third down picture. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CIN - Ja'Marr Chase to move around]() Source: ESPN.com - Ben Baby Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase will give the offense more versatility than it had with Arizona Cardinals WR A.J. Green, who lined up exclusively outside, according to WR Tyler Boyd. 'I think we got a lot more balance and can just call anything now,' Boyd said. 'We don't gotta worry about guys being in certain spots.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bengals three wide receiver offense should come to life this year, and all three could be everyweek starts because of their varied talents and skillsets. Chase should be the first one drafted because of his elite prospect profile and history with Joe Burrow. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [ATL - Kyle Pitts being fast tracked](=) Source: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution - D. Orlando Ledbetter Atlanta Falcons first-round pick TE Kyle Pitts is being force-fed in practice in order to integrate him into the offense. Pitts has been moving around the formations in the open OTAs and the mandatory minicamp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pitts could become the centerpiece of the pass offense and threaten George Kittle for TE3 status in the fantasy football ranks. His arrow is pointing way up and you probably need to reach for him to secure his services in redraft leagues. It could prove to be a brilliant move. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [DET - WR Tyrell Williams the go-to guy?]() Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett Detroit Lions WR Tyrell Williams 'appears to be' the No. 1 receiver for QB Jared Goff during practices, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Williams isn't going to run the whole route tree, but he can make a difference downfield and after the catch on crossing routes. He could have some spot start viability if he's completely over his foot problems. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [DET - Quintez Cephus on the rise?]() Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett Detroit Lions WR Quintez Cephus has 'really come on' during recent practices, according to head coach Dan Campbell. 'We feel like he's growing right in front of us and that's what you want these guys to do during this time,' Campbell said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cephus should be the favorite to be the top backup outside, but he has no ties to the new regime. That makes it especially valuable to know that the new head coach is a fan. His dynasty stock should stabilize on this news. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DET - Amon-Ra St. Brown poised to start?]() Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has 'looked the part' of the No. 3 receiver during OTAs, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] St. Brown should be among the team leaders in receptions at wide receiver, but he won't be posting a high yards per catch as a possession receiver from the slot, so his fantasy appeal is limited despite the early opportunity in three wide sets. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [SF - Senio Kelemete to Niners]() Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo Free-agent OL Senio Kelemete (Texans) agreed to an undisclosed deal with the San Francisco 49ers Friday, June 11. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kelemete started five games at guard for the Texans last year. He'll take the roster spot of swing tackle Justin Skule, who tore an ACL in practice this week. [] 8. [BAL - Odafe Oweh signs contract]( Source: BaltimoreRavens.com - Clifton Brown Baltimore Ravens first-round draft choice LB Odafe Oweh signed a four-year contract with the Ravens Friday, June 11. The deal includes a fifth-year option, but financial terms were not disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Oweh has all the traits you want in a top pass rusher, but he didn't record a sack last year at Penn State. He'll play right away in the effort to replace Matt Judon, who signed with the Patriots in free agency. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [DAL - Osa Odighizuwa agrees to deal]( Source: The Dallas Morning News - Michael Gehlken Dallas Cowboys third-round draft choice DT Osa Odighizuwa agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the Cowboys Friday, June 11, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Odighizuwa isn't going to make a lot of highlight plays, but he'll be stout against the run and be able to play defensive tackle and defensive end for a young defensive line. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [DET - WR Breshad Perriman struggling]() Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett Detroit Lions WR Breshad Perriman has been 'less consistent' during practices, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Perriman is a boom/bust player from week to week and play to play, so this matches his modus operandi. He's only going to be a weekly desperation play and only for as long as he stays healthy. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [PHI - Richard Rodgers back with Eagles]() Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Free-agent TE Richard Rodgers (Eagles) signed with the Philadelphia Eagles Friday, June 11. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rodgers was pressed into duty last year and had some decent games for the Eagles, who rely on their tight end position more than most teams. He'll always be best known for catching a game-winning hail mary from Aaron Rodgers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [NYG - Kadarius Toney working with backups]() Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio New York Giants WR Kadarius Toney worked exclusively with the second-team offense during the mandatory minicamp this week, according to The Athletic's Dan Duggan. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Toney missed three weeks of voluntary minicamp, a rarity for rookies, especially after they sign an injury waiver that protects their earnings before they sign their contract. Toney's tenure with the Giants has gotten off on the wrong foot, but there's plenty of time for that to change. Sterling Shepard might have surprising value if Toney's rookie year is as inauspicious as his first month with the team. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [SF - Coach hopes DE Dee Ford can contribute](=) Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco San Francisco 49ers DE Dee Ford (back) is still rehabbing from a back injury, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said he hopes Ford will be able to contribute on defense this upcoming season. Ford played in only one game last season because of the injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ford has been a massive bust after the 49ers gave up a second round pick for the privilege of signing him to a five-year, $85 million dollar deal in 2019. He has played in 12 regular season games and recorded 6.5 sacks since signing the contract.
