[NYG - Team won't rush RB Saquon Barkley back](#4) 5. [IND - QB Carson Wentz to take part in workouts](#5) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [WAS - Coach impressed by Dyami Brown]() Source: The Athletic - Ben Standig Washington Football Team WR Dyami Brown's speed has head coach Ron Rivera excited. 'The young man can put his head down and go,' Rivera said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brown is one of the more exciting wide receivers in this draft class. He's got speed and ankle-breaking ability to get open against the tightest coverage. Brown will bring big plays to the field and can be a downfield threat for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. He'll work into the mix behind Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NYJ - Rotating Three RBs with the Starters](=) Source: Connor Hughes - The Athletic Connor Hughes, from The Athletic, reports the Jets have been rotating running backs Michael Carter, Tevin Coleman, and Ty Johnson with the starters during OTAs. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That sounds about right given Jets new OC Mike LaFleur is from the 49ers tree. Any Shanahan coach is going to lean towards using multiple backs in a zone-blocking system. Coleman is the veteran of the bunch although he's not quite the player he used to be. Carter is the explosive rookie who can take it to the house on any carry/reception. However, his pass-blocking is suspect and he won't earn a large role until he cleans that up. Johnson is a straight-line speedster with median upside. We'll see who emerges (and how they rotate them) in the preseason. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [JAX - Trevor Lawrence struggles in red zone]( Source: NFL.com - Nick Shook Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence wasn't as sharp on throws in the red zone during OTAs, according to head coach Urban Meyer. 'The field changes especially against NFL talent all over the field,' said Meyer. 'The defense had the upper hand today.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's not the end of the world that a rookie quarterback struggled in one of his first practices in the NFL. Lawrence is smart, accurate and is one of the best quarterbacks to come in the league since Andrew Luck (2012). We're certain that he'll pick things up quickly and learn from his early mistakes. There is no need to get up in arms about Lawrence having some issues this early on in his pro career. He's got the upside to one day be the best quarterback in the league. Let's see how quickly he can play up to that potential. [NYG - Team won't rush RB Saquon Barkley back]( Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Jordan Raanan New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (knee) has been working out recently at the team's facility in New Jersey and is able to do sprinting and jumping. However, he is not expected to be a full participant during the team's first few practices of training camp as a precautionary measure. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] No surprise here. The Giants are wise to ease Barkley back into action. While Barkley is eased in, guys like Devontae Booker, Ryquell Armstead and Corey Clement will get more work. When at full strength, Barkley is one of the best in the game. He's an RB1 for Fantasy GMs and that's why he's got a current ADP of RB4 (1.04) in 12-team PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [IND - QB Carson Wentz to take part in workouts]( Source: ColtsWire - Kevin Hickey Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz said he plans to work out with some of his teammates in June and July before the start of training camp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Wentz wants to establish the strongest chemistry he possibly can before training camp hits, so like a lot of quarterbacks he'll put on a passing camp for the fellas. We'll see if Wentz can get his pro career back on track after things fell apart with the Eagles. Fantasy GMs believe Wentz is a lower end QB2, and he's got a current ADP of QB18 (12.01) in 12-team PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for being part of Footballguys and I hope you have a great weekend.
