[DEN - Denver real possibility for QB Aaron Rodgers]( Source: NFL Network - James Palmer Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers could realistically land with the Denver Broncos, who have the second-most salary cap space in football. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Broncos are going to make a strong push for Rodgers if/when the Packers decide they won't be able to patch things up between the two sides. After June 1st, the salary cap hit for trading away Rodgers is lowered dramatically so that's a target date for a team like the Broncos to try to make a move. With the Broncos defense and weapons on offense, they could be a Super Bowl contender if they're able to pull off a deal for Rodgers. [JAX - Jacksonville to add TE Tim Tebow](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero Free-agent TE [Tim Tebow](=) (Eagles) plans to sign a one-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tebow is back in the NFL but Tebow-mania isn't what it used to be. He was a first-round pick (2010) of the Broncos when he was playing quarterback. Tebow led the Broncos to the playoffs in an improbably run in 2011 and won a Wild Card Game against the Steelers. When the Broncos secured Peyton Manning in 2012, Tebow was traded away to the Jets and was soon out of the league. He's back, and reunited with his college coach Urban Meyer, but this time he's playing tight end. Tebow will be a reserve tight end and gadget player for the Jaguars. [GB - Two QBs to try out at minicamp]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Free-agent QB Kurt Benkert (Falcons) and QB Chad Kelly (Colts) will participate in the Green Bay Packers rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, according to sources. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Benkert is a tall pocket passer who can spray passes all over the field. Kelly has talent but has never played up to his potential. The arm strength is there, and he's mobile enough to throw on the run or pick up yards with his legs. Both quarterbacks are doing what they can just to stay in the league. [TB - QB Blaine Gabbert back with Bucs](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Free-agent QB Blaine Gabbert (Buccaneers) agreed to an undisclosed deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday, May 10. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This move was reported about a week ago...to nobody's surprise. Now, we'll see if Gabbert can win the backup job in 2021. He should be able to but will have to compete with 2021 second-round pick Kyle Trask. The Bucs also have Ryan Griffin on their roster but he's likely pushed off the roster by the pick of Trask. [GB - Amari Rodgers dynamic in the slot position]() Source: Pro Football Focus Green Bay Packers WR Amari Rodgers led college football with 25 catches of at least 15 yards out of the slot in 2020, according to Pro Football Focus. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rodgers has experience lining up in the slot and out wide, but in the slot is where he should shine in the NFL. He's built like a running back and plays like one after the catch. Rodgers also has great speed to attack the seam from the slot. We'd be a lot more excited about Rodgers in 2021 if we knew who his quarterback was going to be. Aaron Rodgers may force his way out of Green Bay and that would be a big negative for all Packers offensive players. The Vikings could bring in Westbrook for some speed and veteran depth. Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson are fine starters but behind them the Vikings could look to upgrade. [BUF - WR Cole Beasley a force out of the slot position]() Source: Pro Football Focus Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley leads all receivers with 180 catches over the last three seasons while lined up in the slot, according to Pro Football Focus. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Beasley showed great toughness and grit for the Bills last season. He's a favorite target of QB Josh Allen and should have a similar role this season. Beasley has a current ADP of WR46 (9.12) in 12-team PPR leagues. [CIN - Cincinnati considering WR Dede Westbrook](=) Source: Undefined with Josina Anderson - Josina Anderson Free-agent WR Dede Westbrook (Jaguars) has had preliminary conversations with the Cincinnati Bengals. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Westbrook has been getting some interest and should find a new home in the near future. The Bengals could use Westbrook for speed and veteran depth but he wouldn't see the field that much. They already have Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins and 2021 first-round pick Ja'Marr Chase at the top of the depth chart. [SEA - WR Tyler Lockett a big-play threat in the slot position]() Source: Pro Football Focus Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett has amassed 31 catches of at least 15 yards out of the slot since the start of the 2019 season - tied for the most in the NFL over that span - according to Pro Football Focus. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lockett is dangerous out of the slot when healthy. He's quick after the catch and reliable for QB Russell Wilson. Seattle may try to go through Wilson and the passing attack more this year (which is a good idea), and that may help the fantasy value of all players in the passing game.
