[CLE - WR Jarvis Landry on COVID list]() Source: ClevelandBrowns.com Cleveland Browns WR [Jarvis Landry](=) was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Dec. 26. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Marvin Hall should see lots of work as Landry, Rashard Higgins and Donovan People-Jones are all on the COVID list. Hall and practice squad WRs Ja'Marcus Bradley and Derrick Willies will be the top receivers for the Browns in Week 16. Adam Schefter reported Saturday evening: "Browns officially placed four WRs on the Reserve/COVID list: Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge. Browns LB Jacob Phillip also added to COVID list. Those five players are out Sunday vs. Jets." [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CLE - Four placed on COVID-19 list]() Source: ClevelandBrowns.com Cleveland Browns WR [Rashard Higgins](=), WR KhaDarel Hodge, WR [Donovan Peoples-Jones](=) and LB Jacob Phillips were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Dec. 26. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jarvis Landry is on this list too. It's an absolute disaster for the Browns as their top receivers will all miss the game against the Jets on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [JAX - James Robinson to miss Week 16](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Jacksonville Jaguars RB [James Robinson](=) (ankle) will miss the team's Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears with an ankle injury, a source said Saturday, Dec. 26. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Robinson wanted to give it a go, but the team has decided otherwise. The Jaguars will use a RBBC with Devine Ozigbo and Dare Ogunbowale. The Bears defense should be a fine play in Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [SF - TE George Kittle to start in Week 16](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport San Francisco 49ers TE [George Kittle](=) (foot) will start in Week 16's game against the Arizona Cardinals. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kittle has worked hard to get back out there. Fantasy GMs have to start him in Week 16. Even if he has a limited snap count, Kittle should be out there for high-value targets. He's got TE1 upside anytime he's on the field. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [NYG - QB Daniel Jones to start in Week 16](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero New York Giants QB [Daniel Jones](=) (ankle, hamstring) will start Week 16's game against the Baltimore Ravens. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones is back in action this week for the Giants. He's not 100 percent healthy but the team feels he gives them the best option to win. With Jones back out there it upgrades the Giants skill position players slightly. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [WAS - Antonio Gandy-Golden activated](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Washington Football Team WR [Antonio Gandy-Golden](=) on Saturday, Dec. 26, was activated off the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gandy-Golden has not played since Week 6. He should be out there against the Panthers on Sunday but doesn't have much fantasy value. The rookie is a player that has dynasty upside but has only one catch for three yards so far in 2020. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [WAS - Steven Montez elevated to roster]( Source: The Washington Post - Nicki Jhabvala Washington Football Team QB Steven Montez on Saturday, Dec. 26, was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We wait to see the status of QB Alex Smith as he's 50-50 to play. Activating Montez may be a sign of Smith's availability. Dwayne Haskins will start if Smith can't play. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [TB - WR Mike Evans has monster game]() Source: NFL.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Mike Evans](=) caught 10 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in Week 16. He was targeted 12 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Evans will help those Fantasy GMs out who had to go up against Saints RB Alvin Kamara in the championship round. If you were able to double up on Kamara and Evans then you have a tremendous lead heading into Sunday's action. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [DET - Detroit QBs struggle in Week 16]() Source: NFL.com Detroit Lions QB [Matthew Stafford](=) (ankle) went 2-for-3 for 17 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16, before he left the game because of an injury. QB [Chase Daniel](=) went 13-for-18 for 86 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions during the game, while QB David Blough went 6-for-10 for 49 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] You know it's bad when three quarterbacks play in one game. Stafford was banged up going into the game, so many Fantasy GMs weren't starting many Lions skill position players. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [DEN - RB Phillip Lindsay's season over](=) Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis Denver Broncos RB [Phillip Lindsay](=) (knee/hip) on Saturday, Dec. 26, was placed on the Reserve/Injured list, ending his season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lindsay is set to be a restricted free agent in 2021. As an undrafted free agent in 2018, Linday might get an original round tender from the Broncos. That means they would have right of refusal if some team signs him but they would receive no compensation if he leaves. Lindsay rushed for over 1,000 yards in both 2018 and 2019, but this season he has battled multiple injuries as the reserve to Melvin Gordon. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [SEA - WR Penny Hart joins active roster]() Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle Seattle Seahawks practice squad WR [Penny Hart](=) was added to the active roster Saturday, Dec. 26 and will be available for the Week 16 game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We appreciate Hart in crazy deep dynasty formats, so we'll be interested to see if he can get on the field now that he's active. He's not likely to be a fantasy factor this week, but deep dynasty GMs will be monitoring his progress. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [PHI - WR DeSean Jackson activated off IR]() Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles WR [DeSean Jackson](=) on Saturday, Dec. 26, was activated from the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jackson has spent eight weeks on Injured Reserve, so don't expect a lot from the veteran speedster. He might get some deep shots here and there but doesn't have much fantasy appeal this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [DEN - OLB Bradley Chubb to sit out Sunday](=) Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis Denver Broncos LB Bradley Chubb (ankle) will miss the team's Week 16 game Sunday, Dec. 27, against the Los Angeles Chargers with an ankle injury, according to a source Saturday. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Chubb hasn't been 100 percent healthy all season. He is only about 13 months from his ACL surgery in 2019 and this ankle problem has slowed him down. Without Chubb, Chargers QB Justin Herbert should have more time to throw against the Broncos on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [JAX - QB Mike Glennon to start in Week 16](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Jacksonville Jaguars QB [Mike Glennon](=) will start Week 16's game against the Chicago Bears. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Jaguars had a quarterback competition during the week of practice and Glennon came out on top. That's not an exciting option for Fantasy GMs, so adjust expectations for Jaguars skill position players accordingly. James Robinson's status for Week 16 is up in the air due to an ankle injury. It's a great time to start the Bears defense if you can. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [TB - Two touchdowns for TE Rob Gronkowski]() Source: NFL.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE [Rob Gronkowski](=) caught two passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in Week 16. He was targeted two times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gronkowski is always capable of having a touchdown-heavy game because he's a long-time favorite of QB Tom Brady. Fantasy GMs who started him are happy with the results. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [BUF - WR Stefon Diggs not on injury report](=) Source: BuffaloBills.com Buffalo Bills WR [Stefon Diggs](=) (foot) fully participated in practice Saturday, Dec. 26, and is not on the injury report for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Good news for the Bills and Fantasy GMs here. Diggs was banged up against the Broncos last Saturday and had to be managed in practice during the week. The Bills play the Patriots on Monday night and Diggs is a WR1 for Fantasy GMs as he is every week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [PHI - WR DeSean Jackson to play in Week 16]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Philadelphia Eagles WR [DeSean Jackson](=) (ankle) will be activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Dec. 26, and he will play in Week 16's game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to a source.
