[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jackson is expected to start on Tuesday night against the Cowboys in Week 13. [CAR - WR D.J. Moore to COVID list](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Carolina Panthers WR [D.J. Moore](=) was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Dec. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moore was already banged up before the team's bye week with an ankle injury. If he can't play against the Broncos in Week 14 then Robby Anderson would likely get more looks. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [NYJ - Gregg Williams fired]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero New York Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was fired Monday, Dec. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Williams had to go after the way he called that game against the Raiders on Sunday. People thought the Jets were tanking for Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence when Williams played 'Cover Zero' with the game on the line, leading to a 46-yard touchdown grab from Raiders WR Henry Ruggs. With Williams fired, that idea is squelched ever so slightly. Adam Gase is still the head coach, so while they're not officially 'tanking' the Jets will be making plenty of changes after the season. [LAC - Anthony Lynn safe for now](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn is expected to remain in his current role until the end of the season at the very least, according to multiple sources via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lynn is safe for now, but we'll see what happens at the end of the regular season. The Chargers have talent but they constantly choke away games that they're competitive in. This might just be who they are under Lynn and management may go in a different direction. [NYG - Optimism for QB Daniel Jones](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport New York Giants QB [Daniel Jones](=) (hamstring) has optimism that he can return for Week 14, according to sources. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones had a week of rest on this hamstring injury. He should be limited in practice as the week goes on but keep an eye on his Friday status. [WAS - Antonio Gibson injured during game]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Washington Football Team RB [Antonio Gibson](=) (toe) suffered an injury to his left big toe in Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was listed as doubtful to return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gibson looked to be in a lot of pain on the sidelines after sustaining this injury. Hopefully it's not a turf toe but we'll have to wait for more information. Washington can turn to Peyton Barber and J.D. McKissic to do more if Gibson has to miss time. [NE - QB Cam Newton listed as limited]() Source: Patriots.com New England Patriots QB [Cam Newton](=) (abdomen) was limited during practice Monday, Dec. 7. The Patriots did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Newton missed quite a bit of work last week but was able to play Sunday. [TEN - Tennessee brings back two rookies]() Source: TennesseeTitans.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans RB [Darrynton Evans](=) (hamstring) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Dec. 7. OT Isaiah Wilson was also activated from the team's Reserve/Suspended list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Evans is a hard-charging rookie running back who we appreciate in dynasty formats. [GB - QB Aaron Rodgers fastest to 400 career TDs]() Source: ESPN.com Green Bay Packers QB [Aaron Rodgers](=) completed 25 of 34 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Dec. 6. His third TD pass of the game gave him 400 for his career in his 193rd game, which is the fastest in NFL history. New Orleans Saints QB [Drew Brees](=) was previously the fastest, reaching the milestone in 205 games. [ATL - RB Todd Gurley purposely limited in Week 14]( Source: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution - Jason Butt Atlanta Falcons RB [Todd Gurley](=) (knee) went into Week 13 against the New Orleans Saints 'comfortable' with being used as a situational runner and pass protector due to his knee injury. Interim head coach Raheem Morris also expects that Gurley will have 'a bigger role' in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gurley just doesn't look like his old self on the football field. Limiting his role certainly limits his fantasy potential, so if you shut him down we don't blame you. The Falcons will use Gurley, Ito Smith and Brian Hill in a three-headed RBBC (most likely) for the rest of the year. [LVR - RB Josh Jacobs no lock to return in Week 14](=) Source: The Athletic - Vic Tafur Las Vegas Raiders RB [Josh Jacobs](=) (ankle) may not be able to play in Week 14 versus the Indianapolis Colts, according to comments made by head coach Jon Gruden on Monday, Dec. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We'll keep an eye on his status during the week of practice. [CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey likely to return in Week 14](=) Source: 1 No Source Carolina Panthers RB [Christian McCaffrey](=) (shoulder) is expected to return from a three-game absence to play in Week 14 versus the Denver Broncos, according to comments made by head coach Matt Rhule on Monday, Dec. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] McCaffrey is coming back to a Panthers team that is going up against the Broncos at home in Week 14. That's a great matchup as the Broncos are weak against the run. McCaffrey should be his normal upper-tier RB1 for Fantasy GMs this week.
