[CHI - WR Dwayne Harris could miss rest of 2020](#9) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [NO - More on QB Drew Brees]() Source: ESPN - Ed Werder Updating previous reports, New Orleans Saints QB [Drew Brees](=) (ribs) is seeking a second opinion after tests revealed five definite fractures in his ribs, but a source mentioned the possibility of more. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We are all waiting for more information on this situation. The Saints will determine whether Brees will go on Injured Reserve after those results. Then, we need to determine whether it's Jameis Winston or Taysom Hill who takes over as the starter -- or if they'll use both more with Brees out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [DET - QB Matthew Stafford update]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Detroit Lions QB [Matthew Stafford](=) (thumb) was diagnosed with a torn ligament in his thumb on his throwing hand, according to sources Tuesday, Nov. 17. He'll be monitored through the week but is expected to play Sunday, Nov. 22. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Stafford is tough but we'll have to see how this progresses. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [GB - Allen Lazard reinstated](=) Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tom Silverstein Green Bay Packers WR [Allen Lazard](=) (core) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lazard is a favorite target of QB Aaron Rodgers...well, for the guys not named Davante Adams anyway. We'll see if Marquez Valdes-Scantling can continue his hot streak as a big-play deep threat with Lazard back in action. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [CHI - QB Nick Foles day to day]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Chicago Bears QB [Nick Foles](=)' (hip) hip and gluteus injury isn't as bad as expected, and he could return after the bye week. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That's good news for Foles here. The Bears have a Week 11 bye which gives Foles more time to get right. We'll see what his status is next week in practice. Tyler Bray took over at the quarterback position late in the game for the Bears on Monday, but he's not an exciting starting option. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [DEN - QB Drew Lock injury update]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos QB [Drew Lock](=) (ribs) is considered day-to-day after further testing revealed he was dealing with a 'pretty severe strain and bruising' but no fractured ribs, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Broncos head coach Vic Fangio has stated that Lock is the starter so long as he's healthy...but Lock is banged up. We'll see what he can do during the week of practice, but the team might have to turn the reins over to Brett Rypien as their starter against the Dolphins in Week 11. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [SF - QB Jimmy Garoppolo ditches boot](=) Source: The Athletic - Matt Barrows San Francisco 49ers QB [Jimmy Garoppolo](=) (ankle) is no longer wearing a walking boot, and head coach Kyle Shanahan is hopeful he will be back in the lineup at some point in December, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Shanahan has previously stated that Garoppolo will return as the starter once he's healthy. The offense has some sputters with Nick Mullens at quarterback, but they'll have to stick with him for at least a couple of more games. Once the calendar turns to December, we should see more information on when specifically Garoppolo will return. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [PHI - Adrian Killins back with Philly]( Source: NFLCommunications.com Free-agent RB [Adrian Killins](=) was added to the practice squad of the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday, Nov. 17. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Killins has some Tarik Cohen to his game. He is a smaller change-of-pace back trying to make it in the pros. We'll watch him but only in crazy deep dynasty formats. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [CHI - HC uncertain about QB Mitchell Trubisky](=) Source: NFL.com - Jelani Scott Chicago Bears QB [Mitchell Trubisky](=) (shoulder) remains sidelined due to a shoulder injury. Head coach Matt Nagy was asked about Trubisky after the Week 10 game, following an injury to QB [Nick Foles](=). 'I don't know yet about Mitch. I think there's a possibility but I don't know that for sure,' he said Monday, Nov. 16. 'I think it's going to be day-by-day, I don't know if he know that. So we'll just keep any eye on that obviously with Nick's status. We'll have to see where that's at as we go.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bears have a Week 11 bye, so we'll see if Foles can get healthy or if Trubisky can get out there in Week 12. Reports indicated the injury to Foles isn't as serious as feared. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [CHI - WR Dwayne Harris could miss rest of 2020]() Source: Chicago Tribune - Brad Biggs Chicago Bears WR Dwayne Harris (triceps) is feared to have suffered a torn triceps in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings and is in danger of missing the remainder of the 2020 season, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Harris contributed mostly as a return man and this won't impact the offense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family.
