[PHI - Dallas Geodert to play Week 8]( Source: NFL Network - James Palmer Philadelphia Eagles TE [Dallas Goedert](=) (ankle) will be 'good to go' for the Week 8 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Nov. 1, per a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Great news for the Eagles offense here. Goedert is a TE1 for Fantasy GMs as he's a big part of what Philadelphia wants to do through the air. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CHI - WR Allen Robinson clears protocol]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Chicago Bears WR [Allen Robinson](=) (head) cleared the league's concussion protocol Saturday, Oct. 31, and is expected to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Good news for the veteran receiver here. He's going to start and Fantasy GMs should consider him a WR3 this week against he Saints. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [DEN - RB Phillip Lindsay expected to play]() Source: ESPN.com - Jeff Legwold Denver Broncos RB [Phillip Lindsay](=) (concussion) is expected to play in Week 8 Sunday, Nov. 1, barring a setback Saturday in clearing the league's concussion protocol. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lindsay has been making progress all week long. He should be able to play against the Chargers on Sunday. Lindsay will continue splitting time with Melvin Gordon although he has looked like the better back in the Pat Shurmur offense. Fantasy GMs should look at Lindsay as a RB3/flex option in Week 8. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [DAL - Ben DiNucci to get start]() Source: DallasCowboys.com - Rob Phillips Dallas Cowboys QB [Ben DiNucci](=) will get the start Sunday, Nov. 1, against the Philadelphia Eagles with starting QB [Andy Dalton](=) ruled out Saturday with a concussion. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] DiNucci should be under a lot of pressure against the Eagles. Add in the fact that the Cowboys defense can't stop anybody and you could see how DiNucci may be in 'catch up' mode early in this contest. Downgrade all your Cowboys accordingly. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [TB - WR Chris Godwin ruled out]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Chris Godwin](=) (finger) on Saturday, Oct. 31, was listed as out for Monday night's game against the New York Giants on the team's Week 8 injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Zero surprise here. Godwin had finger surgery and is expected to miss at least one game. We should see him back in Week 9. Fantasy GMs can look to WRs Mike Evans and Scotty Miller to do more. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DAL - QB Andy Dalton to miss game]() Source: DallasCowboys.com - Rob Phillips Dallas Cowboys QB [Andy Dalton](=) (concussion) on Saturday, Oct. 31, was downgraded from doubtful to out for the Week 8 game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] No surprise here. We'll see what Dalton can do next week as he continues to recover. The Cowboys are turning to Ben DiNucci as their starter with Garrett Gilbert backing him up. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [PHI - Jalen Reagor expected Sunday]( Source: NFL Network - James Palmer Philadelphia Eagles WR [Jalen Reagor](=) (thumb) will be 'good to go' in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Nov. 1, per a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Getting Reagor back will be good for the Eagles passing game. The rookie first-round pick has certainly flashed this year but it was in very limited playing time. His speed and playmaking ability will be good for QB Carson Wentz. Reagor is worth starting as a WR4/deep flex play in Week 8. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [PHI - 5 players activated off IR]() Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Philadelphia Eagles TE [Dallas Goedert](=), WR [Jalen Reagor](=), LB T.J. Edwards, CB Rudy Ford and OT Jason Peters on Saturday, Oct. 31, were activated off the Reserve/Injured list. In a corresponding move, TE [Hakeem Butler](=) was placed on waivers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Getting Goedert and Reagor back in action is big for this offense. We like Goedert as a TE1 upon his return in Week 8 and Reagor should perform like a WR4/flex option with upside. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [NYG - RB Devonta Freeman ruled out]() Source: Giants.com - Dan Salomone New York Giants RB [Devonta Freeman](=) (ankle) did not practice Saturday, Oct. 31, and has been ruled out for the Week 8 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fantasy GMs weren't counting that much on Freeman anyway...especially against a defense like the Buccaneers. With Freeman out, the Giants turn to Wayne Gallman as their lead back. We see Gallman as a RB3/flex play in Week 8. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [IND - Michael Pittman Jr. come off IR](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Indianapolis Colts WR [Michael Pittman](=) Jr. (leg) on Saturday, Oct. 31, was activated off the Reserve/Injured list and is expected to play Sunday in Week 8. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pittman is an exciting big-bodied rookie from USC the Colts were able to scoop up in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. This was an incredible receiver class and Pittman is a player we're excited about in dynasty formats. He can play above the rim and use his size to box out smaller defenders. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [DEN - WR Tim Patrick on field Saturday]() Source: Denver7 Sports - Troy Renck Denver Broncos WR [Tim Patrick](=) (hamstring) is taking part in practice Saturday, Oct. 31. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It looks like Patrick may try to give it a go. He's likely a game-time decision and perhaps on the doubtful side of questionable. If Patrick cannot play against the Chargers, then we'd see more for WR Jerry Jeudy and TEs Noah Fant and Albert Okwuegbunam. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [NYG - WR Sterling Shepard will suit up]() Source: Giants.com - Dan Salomone New York Giants WR [Sterling Shepard](=) (shoulder, toe) was a limited participant in practice Saturday, Oct. 31, but is not listed on the Week 8 injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Reports indicate that there was no re-aggravation of his toe injury last week against the Eagles. The Giants are being cautious with Shepard this week as they prepare for a Monday night game against the Buccaneers. Fantasy GMs should consider Shepard a WR3/flex option in Week 8. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [NYG - RB Wayne Gallman expected to start]() Source: ESPN.com - Jordan Raanan New York Giants RB [Wayne Gallman](=) is expected to be the team's primary running back Monday, Nov. 1, in Week 8 with starter [Devonta Freeman](=) likely to miss the game with an ankle injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That is the plan and Gallman should get a starter's workload. However, Fantasy GMs shouldn't rush to get him in the lineup. Against a tough Buccaneers defense, Gallman is likely going to produce like an RB3/flex play in Week 8. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [SF - RB Tevin Coleman returning in Week 8]( Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco San Francisco 49ers RB [Tevin Coleman](=) (knee) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Oct. 31. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Just when you thought JaMycal Hasty and/or Jerick McKinnon would be the lead back here comes Coleman. His first week back, the team could ease him into the lineup but it still complicates the situation.
