[DEN - RB Phillip Lindsay surpasses 100-yard mark](#22) 23. [MIN - QB Kirk Cousins throws three TDs, three INTs](#23) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [CLE - QB Baker Mayfield benched]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Cleveland Browns QB [Baker Mayfield](=) was benched during the Week 6 game and has been replaced by QB [Case Keenum](=). [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mayfield came in with a rib/chest injury and got knocked around. He should start next week against the Bengals if he didn't suffer an aggravation of his injury. It was best for Mayfield and the team for him to sit. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [PIT - ILB Devin Bush has torn ACL]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Pittsburgh Steelers LB Devin Bush (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during the Week 6 game and will undergo season-ending surgery, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bush was a key addition to this defense along with Minkah Fitzpatrick, but such is the marathon through a minefield that is the NFL season. There isn't an obvious replacement on the roster. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [PHI - RB Miles Sanders to have MRI on Monday](=) Source: PennLive.com - Daniel Gallen Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles RB [Miles Sanders](=) (knee) left the Week 6 game against the Baltimore Ravens due to a knee injury, and FOX's Jay Glazer reports Sanders will have an MRI on Monday, Oct. 19. 'We'll check out his injury tonight and tomorrow and see where's at and if he's available for Thursday,' head coach Doug Pederson said after the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Boston Scott took over after Sanders went out. The Eagles play on Thursday against the Giants, so it's difficult to picture Sanders on the field in four days. Scott will likely start and have flex or emergency RB2 value, and Corey Clement will figure into the backfield too. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [ATL - TE Hayden Hurst finds end zone]() Source: NFL.com Atlanta Falcons TE [Hayden Hurst](=) caught four passes for 57 yards and one touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He was targeted four times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hurst's touchdown, which accounted for the majority of his yards, came in garbage time, so it wasn't exactly a redemption game for him in fantasy football even though the result was good. We'll keep him in lineups next week if we don't have a better option. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [CIN - Tee Higgins hits triple digits]() Source: ESPN Cincinnati Bengals WR [Tee Higgins](=) posted career highs with six receptions and 125 yards in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts on eight targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Even with AJ Green having a revival and being part of the Bengals pass offense today, Higgins was still the top downfield threat. He'll be in lineups next week against Cleveland. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [ATL - Four touchdowns for QB Matt Ryan]() Source: NFL.com Atlanta Falcons QB [Matt Ryan](=) went 30-for-40 for 371 yards and four touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ryan had a massive game against a Vikings defense that had slowed down Russell Wilson for most of the game last week. Having Julio Jones back was all of the difference against Minnesota. Ryan should be considered a solid QB1 start at home against the Lions next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [DET - D'Andre Swift runs all over Jags]() Source: ESPN Detroit Lions RB D'Andre Swift rushed 14 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also added three receptions for seven yards on four targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Swift split the work with Adrian Peterson but was clearly the better and could get even more work going forward. Consider him an upside RB2 next week at Atlanta. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [JAX - James Robinson totals 16 touches]() Source: ESPN Jacksonville Jaguars RB [James Robinson](=) rushed 12 times for just 29 yards in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions, although he did add four catches for 24 yards and a touchdown on his four targets. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Robinson's touchdown came in garbage time, but it counts just the same. He is running well but the team isn't giving him the game scripts to truly get on track. He remains an RB2 start heading into a matchup with the Chargers, but the lack of quality of his team is holding him back. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [MIA - WR DeVante Parker suffers injury](=) Source: NFL.com Miami Dolphins WR [DeVante Parker](=) (groin) suffered a groin injury during the Week 6 game and is considered questionable to return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Parker luckily has a bye next week but this is now his second soft tissue injury problem this year. It's possible Preston Williams could be the #1 for some games this year and don't forget Mike Gesicki in the passing game even though he was overshadowed by Adam Shaheen today. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [MIN - WR Adam Thielen reaches end zone]() Source: NFL.com Minnesota Vikings WR [Adam Thielen](=) caught three passes for 51 yards and one touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6. He was targeted five times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Thielen's garbage time scores are helping his floor stay higher as the Vikings season crashes and burns. He has been a WR1 so far in fantasy leagues, but this is a fragile situation with the Vikings wanting to run a lot and Justin Jefferson emerging as the primary downfield threat. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [TEN - Taylor Lewan might have torn ACL](=) Source: WTVF Newschannel 5 Nashville - Steve Layman Tennessee Titans OT Taylor Lewan (knee) left the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans due to a knee injury, and he might have a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to FOX's Jay Glazer. Lewan will have an MRI Monday, Oct. 19. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This didn't look good on the field and we'll have some clarity on it Monday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [PHI - TE Zach Ertz scheduled for an MRI](=) Source: PennLive.com - Daniel Gallen Philadelphia Eagles TE [Zach Ertz](=) (ankle) suffered a left ankle injury in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, and FOX's Jay Glazer reports Ertz will have an MRI on Monday, Oct. 19. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Stay tuned for more on this one. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [CIN - WR Tyler Boyd has mediocre showing]() Source: ESPN Cincinnati Bengals WR [Tyler Boyd](=) posted five receptions for 54 yards on eight targets in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Boyd wasn't a high volume target with AJ Green returning to playable form today. He's still a low ceiling PPR WR3/Flex but now there are more mouths to feed in this pass offense heading into a matchup with Cleveland. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [ATL - WR Julio Jones has outstanding game]() Source: NFL.com Atlanta Falcons WR [Julio Jones](=) caught eight passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He was targeted 10 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones scored early to reassure any concerns about his hamstring and then scored on a fourth down to help put the game away late. He's back in the saddle as a strong WR1 heading into a matchup against Detroit. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [DET - TE T.J. Hockenson finds the end zone]() Source: ESPN Detroit Lions TE [T.J. Hockenson](=) posted two catches for 17 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hockenson was targeted for a score on the previous play but the fullback Jason Cabinda broke up the pass when he thought he was the target. Hockenson is doing enough to stay in lineups against Atlanta, but we're waiting for the ceiling game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [DET - WR Kenny Golladays hits triple digits]() Source: ESPN Detroit Lions WR [Kenny Golladay](=) hauled in four receptions for 105 yards on six targets in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Golladay also drew a pass interference in the end zone. He is set up for a massive game against the Falcons next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [JAX - WR Keelan Cole accounts for 143 yards]() Source: ESPN Jacksonville Jaguars WR [Keelan Cole](=) registered six receptions for 143 yards and nine targets in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cole had the two biggest downfield plays in the Jaguars passing game and he has done very well to enhance his value going into a contract year. He should be carried in all but short bench leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [DEN - WR Tim Patrick finishes with 101 yards](=) Source: NFL.com Denver Broncos WR [Tim Patrick](=) caught four passes for 101 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 6. He was targeted eight times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Patrick is more prominent than Jerry Jeudy in the game plan and on the field, no matter who the quarterback is. He made some strong plays on deep balls to account for Drew Lock's best plays of the day. He'll be in WR3/Flex consideration against the Chiefs next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [CIN - WR A.J. Green just misses triple digits]() Source: ESPN Cincinnati Bengals WR [A.J. Green](=) racked up eight receptions for 96 yards on 11 targets in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Green is back in the fantasy relevant zone, although he'll face a Browns defense that shut him down earlier in the season. He had his best game of the year by far even though he came in with a hamstring injury. He should at least be rostered to see if this is a trend and Green just needed some time to warm up. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [MIN - Justin Jefferson continues terrific play]() Source: NFL.com Minnesota Vikings WR [Justin Jefferson](=) caught nine passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6. He was targeted 11 times during the game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jefferson actually had one of his two scores before garbage time and he continues to be a viable downfield threat for Kirk Cousins after a slow start to his rookie year. This demonstrated ceiling will keep him in lineups through the ups and downs after the Vikings bye next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [MIN - RB Alexander Mattison struggles in Week 6]() Source: NFL.com Minnesota Vikings RB [Alexander Mattison](=) rushed for 26 yards on 10 carries against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mattison was one of the biggest busts of Week 6 as his team fell behind early and he also failed to make an impact on the touches he did get. The Vikings are on bye next week and Dalvin Cook should return after that, so this was a huge letdown if just got Mattison off of the waiver wire this week or played him in DFS. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 22. [DEN - RB Phillip Lindsay surpasses 100-yard mark](=) Source: NFL.com Denver Broncos RB [Phillip Lindsay](=) rushed for 101 yards on 23 carries against the New England Patriots in Week 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lindsay ran with a ton of effort and intensity and will force the Broncos to reconsider Melvin Gordon as the lead back. He shouldn't be on the waiver wire in league and he might be flexworthy against the Chiefs next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 23. [MIN - QB Kirk Cousins throws three TDs, three INTs]() Source: NFL.com Minnesota Vikings QB [Kirk Cousins](=) went 24-for-36 for 343 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cousins was great during garbage time for the second time this year, but in the first half his play was simply garbage. The Vikings have run their course with him at quarterback, but they signed him to an extension in the offseason, so it will be a story to follow this offseason since Nick Foles proved that most starting quarterbacks with a track record of any success can be dealt to a needy team. The 49ers make sense as a potential 2021 destination. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks.
