[GB - Allen Lazard out indefinitely](=) Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tom Silverstein Green Bay Packers WR [Allen Lazard](=) (undisclosed) was absent from practice Thursday, Oct. 1. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Lazard underwent core muscle surgery this week and is out indefinitely. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tough news for Lazard and the team here. This puts even more urgency on Davante Adams returning. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [ARI - WR DeAndre Hopkins remains out](=) Source: Around The NFL Arizona Cardinals WR [DeAndre Hopkins](=) (ankle) missed a second consecutive day of practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Two days in a row puts his availability for Week 4 in question. Fantasy GMs need to have other plans at the ready. We'll see if Hopkins can practice on Friday. If he doesn't play, the Cardinals would turn to more Larry Fitzgerald and Andy Isabella. We could also see Christian Kirk return from his groin injury this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [NO - WR Michael Thomas remains limited]( Source: NewOrleansSaints.com New Orleans Saints WR [Michael Thomas](=) (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Thomas is trending to play in Week 4. If he plays, we play him in fantasy football. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [SF - Another DNP for RB Raheem Mostert](=) Source: The Athletic - Matt Barrows San Francisco 49ers RB [Raheem Mostert](=) (knee) remained absent from practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It looks like Mostert will miss another game. That makes Jerick McKinnon as the primary back and Jeffery Wilson has RB3/flex value as the reserve for the 49ers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [TB - RB Leonard Fournette out Thursday]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB [Leonard Fournette](=) (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fournette may not be able to play this week. Friday is the day that will tell whether or not he's on the field Sunday. Ronald Jones remains the back for the Bucs you want. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [TB - WR Chris Godwin still a spectator]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Chris Godwin](=) (hamstring) missed a second consecutive practice Thursday, Oct. 1, as he deals with a hamstring injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Godwin is unlikely to play this week because of his hamstring injury. That could mean more Justin Watson this week. Mike Evans and Scotty Miller (although he's banged up too) are the top two wide receivers for QB Tom Brady with Godwin down. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [TB - WR Scott Miller not seen Thursday]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Scott Miller](=) (groin, hip) was not spotted at practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Miller could have a larger role because we may not see Chris Godwin in Week 4. We'll see if Miller can practice on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [GB - WR Davante Adams officially limited](=) Source: Packers.com Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers WR [Davante Adams](=) (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We'll feel better about his playing status when we see how he's doing Friday and Saturday. The Packers go up against the Falcons on Monday night. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [PIT - WR Diontae Johnson making progress]( Source: Pittsburgh Tribune-Review - Joe Rutter Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Diontae Johnson](=) (concussion) took part in individual drills Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That's a sign that he could clear the concussion protocol soon. The Steelers/Titans game has been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak with the Titans. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [ATL - Limited practice for WR Julio Jones]( Source: AtlantaFalcons.com Atlanta Falcons WR [Julio Jones](=) (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones might be able to play against the Packers on Monday night. However, he's more of a 'what the heck' flex in Week 4 because of his health status. Jones may mostly be a decoy for the Falcons on Monday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [WAS - Ron Rivera away from team]() Source: WashingtonFootball.com - Julie Donaldson Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera (illness) was not at practice Thursday, Oct. 1. It is the second straight day he has been away from the team to undergo cancer treatments. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio has stepped in as the interim head coach and would continue in that role in Week 4 versus the Baltimore Ravens if Rivera is unable to return in time. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [BUF - Zack Moss still limited](=) Source: BuffaloBills.com Buffalo Bills RB [Zack Moss](=) (toe) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moss should be back this week for the Bills. That means he'll cut into Devin Singletary's workload. The Bills were using a 55/45 split (favoring Singletary) in the first two weeks of the season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [NO - TE Jared Cook sits again]( Source: NewOrleansSaints.com New Orleans Saints TE [Jared Cook](=) (groin) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is not a good sign for the veteran tight end. If he misses Week 4, the Saints would turn to rookie Adam Trautman. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [LVR - RB Josh Jacobs practices]( Source: Raiders.com Las Vegas Raiders RB [Josh Jacobs](=) (hip, knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jacobs is the centerpiece of what the Raiders do on offense. They'll use him early and often to soften up the Bills defense on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [BUF - WR John Brown back on field]() Source: The Athletic - Joe Buscaglia Buffalo Bills WR [John Brown](=) (calf) is participating in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Good news for Brown here. The Bills used Gabriel Davis once Brown was hurt and the rookie Davis looked good against the Rams in Week 3. We'll see what Brown's status is on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [LVR - Henry Ruggs remains sidelined]( Source: Raiders.com Las Vegas Raiders WR [Henry Ruggs](=) III (hamstring, knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We don't see Ruggs playing this week. The Raiders should also be without fellow rookie WR Bryan Edwards against the Bills on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [CLE - RB Kareem Hunt out of practice]( Source: ESPNCleveland.com - Tony Grossi Cleveland Browns RB [Kareem Hunt](=) (groin) will miss a second straight of practice Thursday, Oct. 1, head coach Kevin Stefanski said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot reports Kareem Hunt's groin "isn't believed to be serious". He is expected to try and play in Week 4 against the Cowboys. Hunt is a RB3/flex play for Fantasy GMs if he plays. Nick Chubb would just get more work if Hunt can't go against a bad Cowboys defense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [WAS - WR Terry McLaurin limited Thursday]() Source: ESPN.com - John Keim Washington Football Team WR [Terry McLaurin](=) (thigh) was added to the Week 4 injury report with a thigh injury and got in a limited session Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We'll see what McLaurin can do on Friday. He should be able to play against the Ravens in Week 4. It's not a great matchup but we still see McLaurin as a WR2 or flex option. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [CAR - WR Curtis Samuel fully practices]() Source: Panthers.com Carolina Panthers WR [Curtis Samuel](=) (elbow) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Samuel is part of the team's plan to replace RB Christian McCaffrey. He can be used as a runner and receiver for the Panthers. Expect Samuel to get around 5-7 touches per game. He's a TD dependent 'what the heck' flex. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [KC - WR Tyreek Hill practices Thursday](=) Source: Chiefs.com Kansas City Chiefs WR [Tyreek Hill](=) (heel) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Patriots are going to do their best to take Hill away from QB Patrick Mahomes. We're still starting Hill as a WR1 in every fantasy league. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [PHI - WR Alshon Jeffery not practicing]() Source: NBC Sports Philadelphia - Dave Zangaro Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (foot) was not seen participating in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's probably another week or so before we see Jeffery back out there. The Eagles need help at the position but aren't rushing Jeffery back from this foot injury. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 22. [CLE - WR Odell Beckham limited Thursday]( Source: ClevelandBrowns.com Cleveland Browns WR [Odell Beckham](=) Jr. (back) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Beckham is a WR2 with upside against the Cowboys in Week 4. We'll see if the Browns can respond and play well against a bad Cowboys defense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 23. [ATL - WR Calvin Ridley does not practice]( Source: AtlantaFalcons.com Atlanta Falcons WR [Calvin Ridley](=) (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ridley is set to lead the way for the Falcons on Monday night against the Packers. Let's see what he can do on Friday and Saturday before we get nervous about his availability in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 24. [CLE - WR Jarvis Landry practices in full]( Source: ClevelandBrowns.com Cleveland Browns WR [Jarvis Landry](=) (hip) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] If Landry can't get it done this week....then we're likely moving on from him as a reserve receiver in fantasy. The Cowboys have a bad defense, so Landry might be able to pay off as a WR3 or flex play. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 25. [IND - RB Nyheim Hines a full participant]() Source: Colts.com Indianapolis Colts RB [Nyheim Hines](=) (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hines is a game-script dependent flex play for Fantasy GMs. Keep this in mind when deciding if he's worth putting in your lineup. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 26. [LVR - TE Darren Waller practices in full]( Source: Raiders.com Las Vegas Raiders TE [Darren Waller](=) (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Raiders will need Waller more than ever in Week 4. They're down two wide receivers (Henry Ruggs, Bryan Edwards) for Sunday's game against the Bills. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 27. [PHI - WR DeSean Jackson remains sidelined]() Source: NBC Sports Philadelphia - Dave Zangaro Philadelphia Eagles WR [DeSean Jackson](=) (hamstring) is not participating in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hamstring injuries for speedsters can linger. The Eagles are banged up at the position and may not have Jackson this week. Let's see what he can do on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 28. [DAL - Too many passes for QB Dak Prescott?]() Source: ESPN - Ed Werder Dallas Cowboys QB [Dak Prescott](=) leads the league in passing attempts (143), completions (143) and yards (1,188) after three weeks, but head coach Mike McCarthy would prefer more balance with the team attempting approximately 40 passes and rushing the ball 30 times per game. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Prescott has been on fire this year, partly because of his talent and the weapons in the passing game but also partly because the Cowboys defense isn't good and the team has to play catch up. We'll see if they can lean on Ezekiel Elliott and the rushing attack more. The Cowboys should be able to control the tempo against the Browns in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 29. [HOU - WR Will Fuller added to injury report](=) Source: HoustonTexans.com Houston Texans WR [Will Fuller](=) (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We don't like to see players moving this way this late in the week. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 30. [PHI - RB Miles Sanders a limited participant]( Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Philadelphia Eagles RB [Miles Sanders](=) (glute) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's a tough matchup for the Eagles against the 49ers in Week 4. Sanders is a low-end RB1 for Fantasy GMs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks.
