[View in Web Browser]( Thanks To Our Sponsor, [Footballguys Draft Dominator]() Howdy {NAME}, Welcome to Friday. I'm not going to lie. I've never been so happy to watch a baseball game in my life as I was Thursday night. And I can't wait for the NBA to join in. NFL Camps are almost here. But it's the little things that hit you. Like the Washington Post newspaper [bringing back the normal sports section]() That got me in an unexpected way. It's a reminder that with all the wild/challenging/sad/tough stuff that might be going on out there, sports can pull folks together. Let's be real. The Yankees at the Nationals isn't changing the world. Unless it sorta does. That's all the baseball stuff I've got. But I'm loaded with NFL content. Let's get to it. And here's to Sports. J --------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by [Footballguys Draft Dominator]() The Key To Crushing Your Draft Is… PRACTICE. Sorry. We’d love to be able to give you a "hack" or "secret" that'll help you draft a great team with no work. Life doesn't work that way and neither does Fantasy Football. If you want to draft well, you need to practice drafting. And there’s no better tool for mock drafting than the [Footballguys Draft Dominator](). Matthew Berry from ESPN says, "When I'm asked to recommend a paid fantasy football app, I only have one answer: Draft Dominator from Footballguys. It's the best.". All the while, behind the scenes our Mathguys are taking all the other votes pouring in to create a complete list for how we rank all the players at that position. [DAL - CeeDee Lamb agrees](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Dallas Cowboys first-round pick WR CeeDee Lamb agreed to a four-year, $14.01 million deal Thursday, July 23. The deal includes a fifth-year option. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lamb is a fantastic player and reminds many in the scouting community of DeAndre Hopkins (Cardinals) because of his athleticism, body control and ability to make crazy catches seem routine. We'll see how he works his way into the mix along with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. The Cowboys have a great trio of wide receivers, arguably the best in the league, and their offense should be one of the most high-powered units this season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NFL - WR Antonio Brown actually not done](=) Source: NFL.com - Kevin Patra Updating previous reports, free-agent WR [Antonio Brown]( (Patriots) posted on Instagram that he doesn't want to retire and called on the NFL to finish its personal conduct investigations. 'I have complied with each and every ask of your investigations throughout the past 11 months,' Brown wrote. 'You have had access to all of my phones, you know what the deal is in each and every situation that the media has distorted. I have been seeing the therapist you asked me to, I have worked on all aspects of my life this past year and have become a better man because of it.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] He just can't walk away, and his latest retirement (at least the third time he's done that this calendar year) didn't last long. When the NFL makes a decision on his legal issues then Brown should be back in the league. We expect teams like the Seahawks, Buccaneers and Washington to potentially show interest. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [DEN - Jerry Jeudy agrees to rookie deal](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Denver Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy agreed to terms Thursday, July 23, on his four-year, $15.192 million rookie deal that includes a team option for a fifth year, per NFL rules. He will receive 71 percent of his $8.61 million signing bonus upfront, and the entire contract is fully guaranteed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jeudy was arguably the best wide receiver in arguably the best wide receiver draft class in NFL history. He has tremendous quickness and can make defenders look silly in the open field. His quickness allows him to run great and sharp routes, something most rookie receivers can't do. Jeudy should instantly become a favorite target of QB Drew Lock this season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [MIA - Tua Tagovailoa gives himself green light](=) Source: USA TODAY - Chris Bumbaca Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (hip) declared himself ready for the start of training camp in a phone interview Wednesday, July 22. 'I'd say I'm ready to go,' Tagovailoa said. 'It's kind of those things where you start getting the itch to get back out on the field, to be able to compete. It's going to be a new setting, so that's what's even more exciting.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Tagovailoa has all the skill to be a franchise quarterback...something the Dolphins haven't had since the days of Dan Marino. If healthy, Tagovailoa has the accuracy and athleticism to pay off for Fantasy GMs. Tagovailoa will compete with Ryan Fitzpatrick for the starting job in training camp. Even if he doesn't win the job for Week 1 (which he easily could win if healthy), Tagovailoa is bound to see the field at some point this season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [WAS - Chase Young signs](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Washington Football Team first-round pick DE Chase Young signed a four-year, $34.56 million deal with a $22.697 million signing bonus Thursday, July 23. The No. 2 overall pick receives 100 percent of his bonuses up front. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Many in the scouting community considered Young to be the best player in this entire draft class regardless of position. He's a premiere pass-rusher and should be able to wreak havoc on opponents for years to come. Young has strength, quickness, speed and intelligence when it comes to making plays on the football field. We're super excited to see his NFL career unfold. [CIN - Khalid Kareem inks rookie deal]( Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper Cincinnati Bengals fifth-round pick DE Khalid Kareem signed his four-year rookie contract Thursday, July 23. Financial terms weren't disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kareem played both defensive end and defensive tackle in college at Notre Dame. He is a quality run-defender and brings power and moves as a pass-rusher. We'll see how Kareem can work his way up the depth chart with the Bengals. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [MIN - Josh Metellus signs rookie deal]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Minnesota Vikings S Josh Metellus signed his four-year rookie contract Thursday, July 23, according to his agency, Rosenhaus Sports. The sixth-round pick's financial terms are slotted according to NFL rules. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Metellus has good speed and is rangy at the safety position. He lacks discipline when he plays but has a ton of emotional energy on the football field. Metellus can make plays in coverage and showed better as a run-defender in 2019. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [MIN - Jeff Gladney signs rookie contract]( Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Chris Tomasson Minnesota Vikings first-round pick CB Jeff Gladney signed his four-year rookie contract with a fifth-year option Thursday, July 23. The deal is worth $10.991 million with $5.553 million in guaranteed money. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gladney had a whopping 30 pass breakups over the last two seasons in college at TCU. He is ultra competitive and adept at playing man/press coverage against an opponents best receiver. Gladney has quick feet and can change direction with ease which allows him to get to the ball faster. As a rookie, Gladney could be a nickel corner for the Vikings but eventually he should be a starter on the outside. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [MIN - Kenny Willekes signs first contract]( Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Darin Gantt Minnesota Vikings seventh-round pick DE Kenny Willekes signed his four-year rookie contract Thursday, July 23. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Willekes does not have outstanding physical traits but he is a hard worker, going to Michigan State as a walk-on prospect and ending his career as a record-setter for the Spartans. He plays with a ton of venom and nasty intentions when getting after the quarterback. Willekes is the type of player you don't bet against but the odds are stacked against him going up against elite-level talent in the NFL.
