1. [KC - QB Matt Moore staying in KC](=)
Source: Yahoo! Sports - Terez A. Paylor
Kansas City Chiefs QB [Matt Moore]( on Friday, July 10, agreed to the terms of a one-year contract to remain with the team.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Moore was serviceable in two starts and a finish in place of Patrick Mahomes, and even led the Chiefs to a victory over the Vikings. Chad Henne may end up available to a quarterback needy team in the wake of this move.

2. [HOU - RB Lamar Miller working out](=)
Source: NFL.com - Kevin Patra
Free-agent RB [Lamar Miller]( (knee) posted a video that showed him running and cutting after he missed the entire 2019 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Miller should be signed at some point this year as a veteran who will have a short ramp-up to NFL conditioning and assignments, but he might not get a call until there is an injury in camp or during the regular season. The Eagles might still be in the market for a veteran and should be on the short list of possible teams that would sign Miller without an injury in the backfield.

3. [LVR - QB Derek Carr among most accurate]()
Source: Pro Football Focus
Las Vegas Raiders QB [Derek Carr]( ranked second among quarterbacks in 2019 with a 64 percent accurate pass rate, according to Pro Football Focus data.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Carr is accurate and usually safe with the ball, but with the addition of speedster Henry Ruggs at the #12 pick this year, he needs to be more aggressive throwing downfield. Marcus Mariota got an incentive-laden contract that shows the Raiders see him as a potential starter and Jon Gruden has a history of being fickle with his quarterbacks, so the pressure is on Carr to hold off Mariota this season.

4. [SF - TE George Kittle terrific after catch]()
Source: ProFootballFocus.com
San Francisco 49ers TE [George Kittle]( recorded 621 yards after the catch during the 2019 season and was the only tight end in the NFL to recorded at least 600 yards after the catch.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The 49ers seem reluctant to give Kittle a contract that reflects his true value to the team. He may settle for money below the top wide receiver pay, but above every other tight end, but it's also possible that the 49ers tag Kittle next year, or even trade him like they did DeForest Buckner when it was time for him to get paid.

5. [KC - Shea Patterson let go](
Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates
Kansas City Chiefs QB Shea Patterson was waived Friday, July 10, according to a source.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Patterson was an immense disappointment in college but some team might try to groom him as a practice squad quarterback with the expansion of the unit under the new CBA.

6. [GB - Jake Hanson under contract](=)
Source: Packers.com
Green Bay Packers sixth-round draft choice C Jake Hanson signed a four-year contract with the Packers Friday, July 10. Financial terms were not disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hanson was a four-year starter at Oregon and two-time All-Pac-12 second team. He could be on the spot in 2021 if the Packers can't afford to keep starting center Corey Linsley. With Kenny Clark and David Bakhtiari both hitting free agency next year, Linsley could be the odd man out.

7. [GB - Jon Runyan to be used at OG]()
Source: PackersWire - Zach Kruse
Green Bay Packers OG Jon Runyan Jr. will be used at offensive guard but could also be a candidate at offensive tackle in emergency situations.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
If Alex Light doesn't cut it as a swing tackle, the Packers could try to get Runyan ready for the key depth job as a rookie.

8. [DET - D'Andre Swift ready to roll]()
Source: Detroit Free Press - Evan Petzold
Detroit Lions RB D'Andre Swift says he's eager to compete with returning starter [Kerryon Johnson]( for snaps. 'I've been competing all my life,' Swift said Thursday, July 9 on a conference call. 'Kerryon is a great back, great player. I remember when he was at Auburn, and he was killing us. He's still doing great in the league. I can't even give you my role. Whatever role they have for me, I just gotta make sure I'm in the best shape and know all of the plays so I'm ready to take it on full force. But I'm not going in there looking to do anything, just doing what I've been doing.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Swift might have a slower ramp up with no offseason, but the Lions will employ some sort of RBBC to deploy their two second-round pick running backs. ADP indicates that the fantasy community is a lot higher on Swift, but the likelihood of a close to even split means that Johnson is the better pick at the steep discount. Swift's best chance of hitting this year is Johnson missing significant time with an injury for the third straight year.

9. [JAX - Ben Bartch signs rookie deal](
Source: The Florida Times-Union - John Reid
Jacksonville Jaguars fourth-round draft choice OG Ben Bartch signed a four-year contract with the Jaguars Friday, July 10. Financial terms were not disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Bartch is the first Division III player David Caldwell has drafted with the Jaguars. He played tackle at St. John's (Minnesota) but Jacksonville appears to be planning to start him out at guard behind AJ Cann. The Jaguars have signed six of their 12 picks, but have yet to get the signatures of first round picks CJ Henderson and K'Lavon Chaisson.

10. [PHI - Matt Pryor may start in 2020](=)
Source: NJ.com - Mike Kaye
Philadelphia Eagles OG Matt Pryor is considered the leading candidate for the starting right guard job this season with OG Brandon Brooks (Achilles) out for the season. Pryor is scheduled to work out with OT Lane Johnson this weekend.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Larry Warford is a name to keep in mind, but the Eagles may want to see Pryor and their depth at guard before signing Warford. It's also possible that the team could bring Jason Peters back to play left tackle and kick 2019 first-round pick Andre Dillard inside to guard if they don't like what they see from Pryor.

11. [MIA - Miami not pursuing two top FAs](=)
Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson
Free-agent OG Larry Warford (Saints) and CB Logan Ryan (Titans) has not received serious interest from the Miami Dolphins this offseason.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Both represent upgrades for many teams, and Warford would be especially needed on the rebuilt offensive line, but the Dolphins aren't interested in short-term solutions on the line, and they just spent a first-round pick on a corner after giving two others big contracts. When teams get an up close look at what they have at corner and guard, Warford and Ryan will get signed this summer.

12. [NYJ - WR Breshad Perriman excelled in 2019]()
Source: Pro Football Focus
New York Jets WR [Breshad Perriman]( ranked second among wide receivers in 2019 with a 90.2 Pro Football Focus grade versus man coverage.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Perriman didn't get a chance to shine until December when Chris Godwin and Mike Evans were both sidelined, and he did rise to the occasion. Robby Anderson was inconsistent in the field stretcher role last year, but Perriman is a lot cheaper in drafts than Anderson was at this time. Keep him on your late round target list, especially in best ball leagues.

13. [GB - Alex Light has good chance to make team]()
Source: PackersWire - Zach Kruse
Green Bay Packers OT Alex Light likely will make the final roster because the Packers do not have any backup offensive tackles with experience on the roster other than Light, according to PackersWire's Zach Kruse.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Packers better hope David Bakhtiari and Rick Wagner stay healthy. They could look to the market for another swing tackle candidate if they don't like how Light looks in camp after he wasn't very good when he got on the field last year.
