[WAS - WR Emanuel Hall likely to miss 2020 season](=) Source: NBC Sports Washington - JP Finlay Washington Redskins WR Emanuel Hall (Achilles) suffered a torn Achilles tendon during a workout last month and likely will miss the entire 2020 season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hall has incredible natural physical gifts but he can't stick with a team in the NFL and he struggles to stay healthy. During his college career at Missouri, Hall battled hamstring injuries and those woes have followed him to the pros. He was undrafted in 2019 and picked up by the Bears. He bounced to Tampa and then Washington...now another injury has knocked him out. His chances of making an impact at the pro level are running out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [DET - QB Matthew Stafford working out with teammates]() Source: LionsWire - Erik Schlitt Detroit Lions QB [Matthew Stafford]( recently worked out with FB [Nick Bawden](, WR Jamal Agnew and TE [Jesse James](. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Stafford was in for a monster season in 2019 before his injury that cost him eight games. If healthy, Stafford should be able to pick up where he left off. That means Stafford could be a value pick at his current ADP of QB13 (10.01) in 12-team PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [CHI - Three RBs may fight for one spot]() Source: BearsWire - Greg Williams Chicago Bears RBs Napoleon Maxwell, [Ryan Nall]( and Artavis Pierce may compete for one roster spot during training camp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The 'Wrecking Nall' has been with the team since he came into the league as a UDFA from Oregon State in 2018. He may be the favorite because of his experience but it's not much. Nall only played eight snaps last year over three games for the Bears. He's a big, power back who can grind down defenses. Compare this to Pierce, another Beavers UDFA (2020), who is a speed back who can catch passes. Maxwell is also more likely to be used as a receiver than Nall. This competition will work itself out in training camp. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [ARI - TE Maxx Williams on track to start]( Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban Arizona Cardinals TE [Maxx Williams]( is the leading candidate to start at tight end this upcoming season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Williams has always had a ton of natural talent but he's not played up to his potential due to injury and inconsistency as a pro. He started 10-of-16 games for the Cardinals in 2019 finishing as the no.48 fantasy tight end with just 15 catches for 202 yards and one touchdown. Williams may be the starter again this year but it is unlikely to lead to fantasy production worth note. [Check it out here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- Practice Mock Drafting - Practice makes perfect with the Footballguys Draft Dominator app powered by 50+ staffers of Footballguys. [Check it out here](). --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [SEA - Several may compete for returner job]( Source: SeahawksWire - Andy Patton Seattle Seahawks WR [Penny Hart](, WR [John Ursua](, WR [David Moore](, RB DeeJay Dallas, RB [Travis Homer]( and S Ugo Amadi may compete for the punt returner job during training camp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We think Hart could be the guy with the edge here. He was undrafted out of Georgia State in 2019 (Colts) but did flash in the pre-draft process, especially when he was at the Senior Bowl. He's lightning quick and has speed to his game to boot. That could work well as a return man and reserve receiver for Seattle in 2020. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [TEN - Logan Woodside may have edge in competition](=) Source: TennesseeTitans.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans QB Logan Woodside may have an edge over QB Cole McDonald for the No. 2 quarterback job because he is more familiar with the offensive scheme, in the opinion of TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Woodside has experience while McDonald is the rookie in the mix. McDonald was a gunslinger during his college career at Hawaii, constantly attacking all levels of the field with his arm. Woodside was a seventh-round pick of the Bengals in the 2018 NFL draft. During his college career at Toledo he threw a whopping 73 touchdowns over his final two seasons with the Rockets. We'll see this battle unfold in training camp and the preseason. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [CIN - Jacques Patrick may have role]() Source: ESPN.com - Ben Baby Cincinnati Bengals RB Jacques Patrick could have a role in certain offensive packages this season if he makes the team, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Ben Baby. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Patrick was undrafted out of Florida State in 2019. He didn't stick in the NFL as a UDFA but was selected in the XFL draft by the Tampa Bay Vipers. He was the third leading rusher in the XFL with 254 yards rushing on 60 carries with two touchdowns. He was a backup to Dalvin Cook his first couple of seasons for the Seminoles but didn't really explode onto the scene when he took over the starting job and declared for the draft as an underclassmen. There's untapped potential here with Patrick, so we will continue monitoring him in crazy deep dynasty formats.
