[Get On Board Here With RotoPass]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [NO - RB Alvin Kamara improved on little things]( Source: The Times-Picayune - Luke Johnson New Orleans Saints RB [Alvin Kamara]( stepped up in pass protection, made defenders miss whether he was in open space or in barely any space at all and ran through tackle attempts by people who had 70 pounds on him, according to running backs coach Joel Thomas. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Little things add up to big things, and Kamara is one of the hardest workers in the game. Last year, Kamara wasn't quite himself as injuries slowed him down. This season, with better weapons around him on offense, Kamara should be able to get back to producing like a top-5 fantasy running back. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CLE - RB Kareem Hunt works with WRs](=) Source: The Chronicle-Telegram - Scott Petrak Cleveland Browns RB [Kareem Hunt]( participated in some of the receiver meetings this offseason, according to wide receivers coach Chad O'Shea. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hunt is a weapon as a receiver out of the backfield and you can even line him up in the slot. He's the backup to Nick Chubb but he should be able to see plenty of playing time this year. In fact, while Chubb is a RB1 for Fantasy GMs out there we see Hunt as a strong flex option in PPR leagues. Hunt has a current ADP of RB27 (5.06) in 12-team PPR formats. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [PHI - Philly not ruling out QB Colin Kaepernick](=) Source: 13WHAM ABC Rochester - Mike Catalana Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson appeared Wednesday, June 17, on the 94WIP Morning Show with Angelo Cataldi and was asked about the possibility of signing free-agent QB [Colin Kaepernick]( (49ers). 'I think it's something that if a team or even us were in a situation, we would look at all possibilities and scenarios,' Pederson said. 'The one thing you have to keep in mind is he hasn't played in a couple years. That still doesn't mean he couldn't come in and be a backup and learn your system and do those things for you. It's not out of the realm or possibility that could happen.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Eagles have unproven players like veteran Nate Sudfeld and rookie Jalen Hurts behind starter Carson Wentz. It's good for the team to keep all options open in case they feel they need a better plan. Wentz is a fine starter but he has struggled with injuries at times during his career. The Eagles want to make another deep postseason run, and they don't want their season de-railed if Wentz gets banged up again. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [ARI - QB Kyler Murray hopes to work with WRs soon]() Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban Arizona Cardinals QB [Kyler Murray]( said he has been throwing to receivers in Houston but hopes to work out with the Cardinals wide receivers in the near future. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Seemingly every quarterback in the league is getting together with his offense during this virtual offseason so they can get in some on-field workouts. Murray has an incredible skill set with his arm talent and athleticism. By adding a superstar wide receiver to the mix like DeAndre Hopkins, Murray should be able to pay off as a high-upside starter and QB1 for Fantasy GMs in 2020. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [LAC - QB Colin Kaepernick a standby option for LAC?](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn told reporters he is happy with the team's three quarterbacks when asked about possibly signing free-agent QB [Colin Kaepernick](. 'Definitely fits the style of quarterback for the system we're going to be running,' Lynn said. Kaepernick and Lynn haven't spoken, but the quarterback appears to be on the team's emergency list, in the opinion of NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Chargers have Tyrod Taylor as the starting quarterback...at least he should be able to hold off 2020 first-round pick Justin Herbert in training camp. The offense is going to feature bootlegs and rollouts which Kaepernick ran in the offense with the 49ers years ago. The Chargers are a team who could make the postseason and turn some heads in the playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DET - Jamal Agnew officially a WR]( Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman Detroit Lions CB Jamal Agnew has officially moved to wide receiver, according to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] No surprise here. Agnew has been sitting in on wide receiver meetings since last year with Marvin Jones and Marvin Hall left the Lions thin at the position. He's been their regular return man since entering the league in 2017 and Agnew has already seen time as a gadget player on offense. We'll be interested to see what kind of noise he can make in training camp now that he's on offense full time. [Get the Rookie Scouting Portfolio here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [PIT - WR Deon Cain's spot uncertain]( Source: Pittsburgh Tribune-Review - Chris Adamski Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Deon Cain]( has a chance to make the final roster but his spot on the team is not guaranteed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] A sixth-round pick out of Clemson in the 2018 NFL draft (Colts), Cain is a player we've been monitoring in deep dynasty formats. He's got good speed down the field and a large catch radius. The Steelers picked him up after the Colts waived him in 2019. The wide receiver position is jam-packed in Pittsburgh, so we'll see if Cain can stand out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [MIN - Justin Jefferson to work in slot]() Source: The Athletic - Chad Graff Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson likely will receive a lot of snaps as the slot receiver, according to offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That's where he thrived at LSU in 2019. Jefferson caught 109 of 111 receptions from the slot for the Bayou Bengals last season, and he did not look as good running more routes outside back in 2018. From the slot, Jefferson can get an easier release and get into his routes. Once open underneath, Jefferson can pull away from defenders with his run-after-the-catch ability. He's a WR5 with upside for Fantasy GMs in 2020 as the Vikings no.2 receiver behind only Adam Thielen. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [BAL - Two Ravens RBs working out together](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley Baltimore Ravens RB [Gus Edwards]( said he has been working out with RB [Justice Hill]( multiple times a week this offseason. They have been participating in drills during the workouts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There was a ton of buzz around Hill last year as a rookie but he didn't get a chance to do much for the Ravens in 2019. This year, the team went out and added a potential star running back in J.K. Dobbins (Ohio State) in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. That pushes Hill further down the depth chart as he's no.3 or no.4 at the position behind Dobbins and Mark Ingram. We still love Hill in dynasty formats. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [DET - OC sees D'Andre Swift as complete back]( Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman Detroit Lions RB D'Andre Swift has all of the skills to be a complete back for the Lions, according to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Swift is a complete back as he can thrive on all three downs as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. Quickness and balance are the hallmarks of his game as a runner and strong hands (only three drops on 76 catchable targets) are what he's known for as a receiver. The Lions whiffed on Kerryon Johnson in the draft a couple of years ago, now Swift is here to compete with Johnson to see who is going to be the lead back. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [IND - Michael Pittman worked out with teammates]( Source: The Athletic - Zak Keefer Indianapolis Colts WR [Michael Pittman]( Jr. said he was able to work out with QB Jacob Eason and WR Dezmon Patmon this offseason. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pittman can win the no.2 job for the Colts opposite of T.Y. Hilton if he performs well in training camp and the preseason. The rookie from USC has size and can win at the catch point...certainly when he catches the ball at the highest level. His routes and strength on contested catches needs improvement but we like his overall game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [BAL - RB Gus Edwards expects all RBs to have role](=) Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec Baltimore Ravens RB [Gus Edwards]( said he believes the team will be able to keep the top four running backs involved in the offense this season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Edwards is correct but that role for some (himself included) is going to be limited unless someone gets banged up. They already have veteran Mark Ingram as a quality starter but in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft they acquired arguably the best running back in the class by selecting J.K. Dobbins from Ohio State. Those two will serve as the 1-2 punch for the Ravens on the ground. Edwards will give the team some power and could see time on third-down-and-short situations or near the goal-line.
