Howdy {NAME},
Good Tuesday to you.
I hope you're well and staying safe out there. And thanks for the very kind emails replying to yesterday's first issue of our "normal" Daily Email.
Jon sent me this:
"Hey Joe,
"Thanks for getting your guys' stuff going again.
"As strange as it may sound, getting your emails makes me feel like we are one day closer to returning to normalcy."
Thanks Jon, I feel you there. Sending these emails makes me feel a little more normal too.
I'm convinced more than ever we'll get there. And we'll get there together.
Now let's get to it as our man Sigmund Bloom has one of my favorite features he does each year, a post-draft update to the Bloom 100.
Let's go.

1. [GB - Matt LaFleur backs QB Aaron Rodgers](
Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky
Updating previous reports, Green Bay Packers QB [Aaron Rodgers]( received a vote of confidence from head coach Matt LaFleur. 'Aaron is a pro, and he's the leader of our football team, and I anticipate that for a really long time,' LaFleur said Saturday, April 25. 'I have so much respect for him not only as a player but the person, and some of the stuff that nobody sees. So I can't tell you how much I like working with him.' LaFleur went on to state, 'You know how this league works. I know you guys get tired of me saying this, but it's about getting better each and every day and we're going to take it week to week. In my mind, I think Aaron is by far the best quarterback I've ever been around. I think he's the best ever to play the game. I hope he can play until he decides he doesn't want to play anymore.'

Reporters are speculating that Rodgers is mad about the team selecting quarterback Jordan Love in the first round. While he likely would have preferred a wide receiver or some form of skill position help, the Packers ended up drafting a player who could be his eventual replacement. Rodgers should respond with great play on the field, not because of the Love pick, but because that's who he is. We'll see how LaFleur and Rodgers mesh in year two.

2. [HOU - QB Deshaun Watson to have option picked up]()
Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson
Houston Texans QB [Deshaun Watson]('s fifth-year option will be exercised this offseason, according to sources.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Zero surprise here. Watson is going to get a contract that makes him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league soon enough. The team plans on talking with Watson about a long-term contract at some point this offseason.

3. [CLE - TE David Njoku's option exercised]()
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Cleveland Browns TE [David Njoku]( had his fifth-year option exercised Monday, April 27, according to a source.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
There were rumblings that Njoku would be on the trade block but nothing ever came of that. Njoku was at odds with the previous (and short-lived) coaching staff but gets a fresh start with new head coach Kevin Stefanski. Even though Austin Hooper was added in free agency earlier this year, the Browns could be using a TEBC with Njoku involved as well. Last year with the Vikings, Stefanski's offense featured both Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith at the position. That might just happen this year with the Browns and Hooper/Njoku.

4. [MIN - RB Dalvin Cook to work despite contract]()
Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero
Minnesota Vikings RB [Dalvin Cook]( will participate in the virtual period of their voluntary offseason program despite wanting a new contract.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Vikings should find a way to get Cook his deal. He's unlikely to earn the kind of money that Christian McCaffrey received a couple of weeks ago from the Panthers, but Cook should still end up as one of the highest paid backs in the league. With the Vikings leaving the running back room unchanged after the draft, it's all about Cook once again in 2020.

5. [TB - Tyler Johnson a rookie starter?](
Source: PewterReport.com - Jon Ledyard
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Tyler Johnson 'should have an inside track to the starting job' as the No. 3 receiver, according to Jon Ledyard of PewterReport.com.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A fifth-round pick out of Minnesota, Johnson's game is all about strength and after-the-catch ability. He's a converted quarterback who knows how to do little things like come back to the football and square to the line of scrimmage (favorite traits of quarterbacks). Johnson is strong and can break tackles after the catch plus he has great 'my ball' mentality. He's not a burner but knows how to sit down in a zone and was consistent and reliable in college.

6. [GB - Manny Wilkins let go](=)
Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky
Green Bay Packers QB Manny Wilkins was waived Monday, April 27.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Packers had to make some space in the quarterback room with the addition of 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love. We'll see Love develop as the primary backup behind Aaron Rodgers. His only competition on the depth chart is last year's backup, Tim Boyle.

7. [WAS - DE Jonathan Allen's option officially exercised](=)
Source: Redskins.com
Washington Redskins DE Jonathan Allen's fifth-year option was officially exercised Monday, April 27.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This puts the 2017 first-round pick under the team's control for two more seasons. He's a solid player and has compiled 14.0 sacks over the last two seasons with Washington. The option is guaranteed for injury only, and we'll see if Allen can earn a long-term extension with his play this season.

8. [DAL - Dallas adds four UDFAs]()
Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper
Undrafted free-agent WR Kendrick Rogers (Texas A&M), WR Aaron Parker (Rhode Island), WR Stephen Guidry (Mississippi State) and TE Charlie Taumoepeau (Portland State) agreed to terms with the Dallas Cowboys Monday, April 27. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Parker is an interesting name to keep an eye on. He has good body control and strong hands. Those skills help him earn a quarterback's trust and Parker does a good job of working the sideline and the back of the end zone. He's looking to make the practice squad since the Cowboys have a jam-packed WR room. We'll monitor Parker but only in crazy deep dynasty formats.

9. [DEN - Denver waives four players](=)
Source: DenverBroncos.com - Aric DiLalla
Denver Broncos S Tyvis Powell, TE Bug Howard, DT Deyon Sizer and DT Jay-Tee Tiuli were waived Monday, April 27.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Howard is a big-bodied receiver trying to play tight end. He was a favorite target of Mitchell Trubisky in college at North Carolina. We'll monitor if he lands somewhere else but obviously only in crazy deep dynasty formats.

10. [NO - Tony Jones to Saints](
Source: SportingNews.com - Dan Bernstein
Undrafted free-agent RB Tony Jones Jr. (Notre Dame) agreed to an undisclosed deal with the New Orleans Saints Monday, April 27.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Jones is a hard-charging runner who brings some toughness to the Saints backfield. He'll be hard pressed to make the 53-man roster but might look good enough in camp and preseason to make the practice squad. Monitor him in deeper dynasty leagues.

11. [GB - Jake Kumerow signs tender]()
Source: NFLCommunications.com
Green Bay Packers WR [Jake Kumerow]( signed his exclusive rights tender Saturday, April 25.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
He'll push for a job to be fourth or fifth on the depth chart for the Packers once again. Kumerow is no lock for the 53-man roster.
