[TEN - RB Derrick Henry on track to play]( Source: TitansOnline.com Tennessee Titans RB [Derrick Henry]( (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Henry's hamstring isn't getting any better, but it shouldn't be an impediment to getting him in your lineup against the Saints. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [PIT - WR JuJu Smith-Schuster uncertain about return]( Source: ESPN - Brooke Pryor Pittsburgh Steelers WR [JuJu Smith-Schuster]( (knee) was a full participant in practice Friday, Dec. 20, but said that his knee isn't 100 percent and is still unsure if he'll return and play in Week 16 on Sunday, Dec. 22. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Smith-Schuster won't be a strong enough play to be in lineups if he goes on Sunday, but he will hurt the ceiling of James Washington and Diontae Johnson enough to get them out of lineup consideration. We'll be watching this one right up until Sunday morning. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [NE - WR Julian Edelman expected to play](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Updating previous reports, New England Patriots WR [Julian Edelman]( (knee, shoulder) is expected to play in Week 16 Saturday, Dec. 21. Edelman moved around well in practice, according to sources, and he's expected to be close to his usual form. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Edelman wasn't his usual self last week and the Bills held him to a quiet game in the first matchup. He's not the sure thing he has been in PPR leagues all year, but probably still worth at least a WR3/Flex start. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [IND - WR T.Y. Hilton receives day off](=) Source: Colts.com Indianapolis Colts WR [T.Y. Hilton]( (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 20, but is not on the injury report for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hilton is a solid PPR play this week with his uneventful return last week that resulted in no setbacks. He should get more snaps and targets this week. Another plus for Hilton this week is a conversation head coach Frank Reich and quarterback Jacoby Brissett had that created some changes to the passing game that will be implemented this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [DET - Questionable tag for RB Bo Scarbrough]( Source: DetroitLions.com Detroit Lions RB [Bo Scarbrough]( (ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Scarbrough will dampen Kerryon Johnson's outlook if he's active. He and Johnson could be a power duo for the team in 2020. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DEN - Week 16 injury report for Denver]( Source: The Athletic - Nicki Jhabvala Denver Broncos DE Adam Gotsis (knee), OT Ja'Wuan James (knee) and OG Ronald Leary (concussion) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Detroit Lions. OG Dalton Risner (illness) did not practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable. DE DeMarcus Walker (ankle), TE [Noah Fant]( (shoulder, illness), DE Dre'Mont Jones (ankle) and NT Kyle Peko (illness) were limited Friday and are also listed as questionable. LB Joseph Jones (back), LB Alexander Johnson (knee), LB Von Miller (knee), S Will Parks (hand), WR [Tim Patrick]( (shoulder), NT Mike Purcell (shoulder, knee), LB Malik Reed (ankle), QB [Drew Lock]( (illness), C Connor McGovern (illness), C Patrick Morris (back), OG Austin Schlottmann (illness) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Make sure Fant is active before playing him on Sunday. You'll need to have a hedge from a late or night game to avoid a zero. His shoulder injury seemed to be no big deal, but the addition of illness complicates his outlook. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [NYJ - WR Robby Anderson's status uncertain]() Source: NewYorkJets.com Updating a previous report, New York Jets WR [Robby Anderson]( (illness) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We will have to make sure he's active on Sunday before playing him, and Joe Haden is good to go, so Anderson's matchup won't be easy. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [KC - Week 16 injury report for Kansas City]( Source: Chiefs.com Kansas City Chiefs OG Andrew Wylie (illness, ankle, shoulder) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Chicago Bears. CB Morris Claiborne (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and has also been ruled out. CB Rashad Fenton (hamstring), RB [Damien Williams]( (rib), WR [Tyreek Hill]( (shoulder), P Dustin Colquitt (knee), CB Kendall Fuller (thumb), QB [Patrick Mahomes]( (hand), DT Derrick Nnadi (elbow) and WR [Mecole Hardman]( (glute) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 20, and have been removed from the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Williams return complicates an already too crowded backfield in Kansas City. Leave him on the waiver wire for Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [NO - Week 16 injury report for New Orleans](=) Source: NewOrleansSaints.com New Orleans Saints LB Kiko Alonso (quad), S Vonn Bell (knee) and OG Larry Warford (knee) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Tennessee Titans. OT Andrus Peat (forearm) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable. CB Patrick Robinson (calf) and S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson (concussion) returned to a full practice Friday, Dec. 20, and are also listed as questionable. OT Terron Armstead (ankle) and OT Ryan Ramczyk (knee) also practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] If Peat and Warford are both out, the Saints offense might get slowed down a bit against a tough Titans front seven, but Ramczyk and Armstead being removed from the injury report is a good sign for the passing game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [NYJ - NY Jets' Week 16 injury report]() Source: NewYorkJets.com New York Jets OL Tom Compton (calf) and WR [Demaryius Thomas]( (hamstring, knee) did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful for Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. S Jamal Adams (ankle), DL Henry Anderson (shoulder), OT Kelvin Beachum (ankles), CB Arthur Maulet (calf), DL Steve McLendon (knee, hip), CB Brian Poole (concussion), RB [Bilal Powell]( (ankle) and DL Quinnen Williams (neck) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. WR [Robby Anderson]( (illness) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is also listed as questionable. LB B.J. Bello (illness), S Bennett Jackson (illness), CB Maurice Canady (shoulder), QB [Sam Darnold]( (knee, thumb), QB [David Fales]( (elbow), DL Kyle Phillips (hip), OL Brent Qvale (knee), DL Nathan Shepherd (rib, ankle) and S Blake Countess (ankle) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Adams return is a big boost for the Jets and should make life harder for Devlin Hodges. Expect the Jets to dial up a lot of blitzes against the Steelers after that approach worked for the Bills last week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [PHI - Philadelphia's injury report for Week 16]( Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Philadelphia Eagles OT Lane Johnson (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Dallas Cowboys. WR [Nelson Agholor]( (knee) also did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. DE Derek Barnett (ankle), RB [Jordan Howard]( (shoulder) and CB Avonte Maddox (knee) were limited in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and are also listed as questionable. WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside (foot) was also limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday but no longer appears on the injury report. OG Brandon Brooks (calf), DT Fletcher Cox (triceps) and CB Ronald Darby (hip) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Agholor is still very unlikely to play. Greg Ward is a viable WR3/Flex in PPR leagues after his hot finish to Week 15. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [OAK - Oakland's Week 16 injury report](=) Source: Raiders.com Oakland Raiders OG Richie Incognito (ankle), RB [Josh Jacobs]( (shoulder) and LB Marquel Lee (toe) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. C Rodney Hudson (ankle) and OG Gabe Jackson (knee) were limited in practice Friday, Dec. 20, but no longer appear on the injury report. CB Nevin Lawson (biceps), S Dallin Leavitt (elbow), WR [Hunter Renfrow]( (rib), LB Kyle Wilber (ankle), CB Daryl Worley (neck) and DT P.J. Hall (illness) practiced in full Friday and have also been removed from the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] DeAndre Washington will get the start in place of Jacobs. Consider him a high floor RB2 in PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [WAS - RB Adrian Peterson a full participant]() Source: Redskins.com Washington Redskins RB [Adrian Peterson]( (toe) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Peterson is a solid RB2 play against the Giants this week. He has beaten the odds to remain fantasy relevant in his age 34 season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [CAR - WR Curtis Samuel listed as questionable]() Source: Panthers.com Carolina Panthers WR [Curtis Samuel]( (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Samuel seems on the doubtful side of questionable. Will Grier carried the promise of better downfield passing than Kyle Allen, but it appears that we won't get to see what Samuel can do with Grier this week. DJ Moore should be guaranteed a huge number of targets and Greg Olsen's outlook gets more positive if Samuel is out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [PIT - Week 16 injury report for Pittsburgh]() Source: Steelers.com Pittsburgh Steelers WR [JuJu Smith-Schuster]( (knee), CB Artie Burns (illness), LB Mark Barron (non-injury), C Maurkice Pouncey (non-injury), OG David DeCastro (non-injury), OT Alejandro Villanueva (non-injury), TE [Vance McDonald]( (concussion), LB T.J. Watt (non-injury), CB Joe Haden (foot), TE [Nick Vannett]( (illness) and OG Ramon Foster (non-injury) practiced in full on Friday, Dec. 20, and no longer appear on the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There was some worry about Haden earlier in the week when he missed practice, but he appears to be good to go against the Jets. Robby Anderson's matchup got a little tougher on this news. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [JAX - DJ Chark expected to return]( Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser Jacksonville Jaguars WR DJ Chark (ankle) on Friday, Dec. 20, was listed as questionable for Week 16, but head coach Doug Marrone said he expects Chark to play. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Chark is a boom/bust WR3/Flex if he can go this week. It seems that the Jaguars wouldn't let him practice and play if he wasn't getting close to the form that made him an every week start earlier this year. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [ARI - GM aims to re-sign RB Kenyan Drake](=) Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban Arizona Cardinals RB [Kenyan Drake]( is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said Friday that the team is hoping to retain the running back they traded for earlier this season. 'As far as waiting until after the season (to re-sign Drake), that's not necessarily the thing either. I would certainly love to have [Kenyan Drake]( back,' Keim said Friday in an Arizona radio interview. 'I think he fits in this offense, and he really has given us a spark in many ways.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Drake will probably find a lukewarm market for longterm running back contracts. He has had a much better experience under Kliff Kingsbury than he had under Adam Gase, and perhaps that could create a "hometown discount" for Arizona. The status of David Johnson, who has a $10.2 million dollar guaranteed salary coming to him from the Cardinals next year, will also play into this decision. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [DAL - QB Dak Prescott taking it easy Friday]( Source: The Athletic - Jon Machota Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys QB [Dak Prescott]( (shoulder) is not expected to throw much at practice Friday, Dec. 20, as he deals with a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder. 'He'll be pretty limited. If he throws, it won't be much,' Garrett said Friday. '... We'll just take it day by day and see what he's able to do today.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Prescott is almost certainly going to play, but who knows how effective he'll be and how much the Dallas playcalling will try to minimize his exposure. We'll be listening to news out of Dallas closely. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [NYG - QB Daniel Jones set to return](=) Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper New York Giants QB [Daniel Jones]( (ankle) has been a full participant in practice all week and will start in Week 16 on Sunday, Dec. 22, unless there's a sudden setback, head coach Pat Shurmur said Friday, Dec. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones is a reasonable QB2/Superflex this week against the Washington pass defense with his top three wide receivers and Saquon Barkley healthy. This loser of this game will get a big edge in the race for the #2, or even #1 pick if the Bengals win their last two games. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [NYJ - WR Demaryius Thomas likely out]( Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini New York Jets WR [Demaryius Thomas]( (knee, hamstring) is out of practice Friday, Dec. 20, and isn't expected to play in Week 16. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Vyncint Smith will get another chance to show his stuff for a team that might have two new outside receivers next year with Thomas and Robby Anderson both going into free agency. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [PHI - Lane Johnson trending up](=) Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane Philadelphia Eagles OT Lane Johnson (ankle) is trending up for Week 16, according to head coach Doug Pederson. The team is optimistic, but they have to be careful, Pederson said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] If Johnson can't go, Demarcus Lawrence could go off. Johnson usually gets the best of him but Halapoulivaati Vaitai would replace Johnson and be a big downgrade for the Eagles offensive line. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 22. [PHI - WR DeSean Jackson on the mend]() Source: 94WIP Radio - Eliot Shorr-Parks Philadelphia Eagles WR [DeSean Jackson]( (abdomen) is running, light sprinting and cutting as he works his way back from sports hernia surgery. He's six weeks removed from surgery in a six-to-eight-week timetable. He's not eligible to return from the Reserve/Injured list until the second week of the playoffs, but he could return if the Eagles make it that far. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jackson was a week winner in the season opener and then couldn't get back to full speed. He's still worth a dynasty stash and will be worth a late round pick next year as long as he's healthy to open the season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 23. [SEA - RB Rashaad Penny having surgery]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Seattle Seahawks RB [Rashaad Penny]( (knee) is having surgery to repair his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee Friday, Dec. 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Seahawks are doing the right thing and not subjecting Penny to the uncertainty Ryan Tannehill faced when he didn't have a partial ACL tear repaired only to have the surgery the following year. Penny might struggle to be ready for Week 1 next year so Travis Homer has a chance to earn a role this offseason. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 24. [SEA - WR David Moore could be more involved]() Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta Seattle Seahawks WR [David Moore]( is likely to see the biggest increase in playing time following the suspension of WR [Josh Gordon](, in the opinion of The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moore has a deep ball skillset and made some tremendous catches last year. He could be a surprise Week 16 hit if the Arizona-Seattle game turns into a shootout. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 25. [ARI - Arizona rookie WRs won't see increased snaps]() Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban Arizona Cardinals WRs [Andy Isabella]( and [KeeSean Johnson]( will not increased usage over the season's final two weeks, according to AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Cardinals rookie wide receiver class has been a bust this year. We shouldn't give up on them in dynasty leagues, but we also shouldn't be surprised when the team seeks more talent at the position in the draft and free agency.
