[LAR - QB Jared Goff injured thumb in loss](#18) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [OAK - No practice for RB Josh Jacobs]( Source: Raiders.com Oakland Raiders RB [Josh Jacobs]( (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's looking like Jacobs will not be able to go in Week 16. That would mean DeAndre Washington would get a featured role for the Raiders. If that's the case, Washington has RB2 upside in the championship round. Make sure Jacobs is not going to play against the Chargers before you plug in Washington. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CLE - WR Odell Beckham says he will return in 2020](=) Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot Cleveland Browns WR [Odell Beckham]( Jr. said he will be with the Browns next season and expects the offense to figure things out. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] They need to get Beckham healthy and keep him healthy if they want to see the best from the veteran superstar receiver. Beckham has been battling a groin injury all season and has disappointed with his production. We'll see if he actually wants to stay or if something gets him moved from the Browns. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [IND - WR T.Y. Hilton to see more snaps](=) Source: CNHI Sports Indiana - George Bremer Indianapolis Colts WR [T.Y. Hilton]( (calf) will see more snaps in Week 16 and 17 after he escaped aggravating his calf in Week 15, according to head coach Frank Reich. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] That's cool and all but Fantasy GMs are going to find it difficult to trust Hilton. He's best considered a WR3 or flex play in Week 16 against the Panthers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [DAL - QB Dak Prescott officially limited]( Source: 105.3 The Fan - Mike Fisher Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys QB [Dak Prescott]( (shoulder) was officially limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Prescott is a little banged up but this should not be an injury that keeps him out of action in Week 16. The Cowboys travel to face the Eagles on Sunday. Prescott will be a QB1 for Fantasy GMs as per usual in the championship week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [MIA - TE Mike Gesicki fully practices](=) Source: MiamiDolphins.com Miami Dolphins TE [Mike Gesicki]( (hip) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gesicki makes for a nice streaming tight end option if you need it in Week 16. He's a big target and can make plays in the red zone. He's a bit hot and cold in terms of production but if you need a streaming option you could do worse. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [MIA - WR DeVante Parker limited](=) Source: MiamiDolphins.com Miami Dolphins WR [DeVante Parker]( (hip) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Parker should be able to get a full day of practice in later this week. Fantasy GMs can consider him a WR2 or flex option in Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [LAC - Limited practice for WR Mike Williams](=) Source: Chargers.com Los Angeles Chargers WR [Mike Williams]( (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Williams always has flex appeal (at least) if he suits up on game day. Check back later in the week to see if he's going to be out there in Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [TB - QB Jameis Winston stays limited Wednesday](=) Source: Buccaneers.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB [Jameis Winston]( (thumb, knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Winston might be limited all week with this injury...again. He's still going to fill the air with footballs in Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [CLE - WR Jarvis Landry puts in limited practice](=) Source: The Chronicle-Telegram - Scott Petrak Cleveland Browns WR [Jarvis Landry]( (hip) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Landry should be fine for Week 16. He's his normal WR2 in PPR leagues as the Browns take on the Ravens. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [JAX - DJ Chark listed as limited](=) Source: Jaguars.com Jacksonville Jaguars WR DJ Chark (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Chark was inactive last week but he's trending in the right direction. In Week 16 against the Falcons, Chark is a WR2 if he's out there for the Jaguars. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [CAR - TE Greg Olsen takes part in practice]() Source: Panthers.com Carolina Panthers TE [Greg Olsen]( (concussion) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It looks like Olsen is going to be back this week. With rookie QB Will Grier starting for the Panthers, it's going to be difficult to trust the veteran tight end. His return should negatively impact the snap count for Ian Thomas. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [NYG - TE Evan Engram to have surgery]() Source: The Athletic - Dan Duggan New York Giants TE [Evan Engram]( (foot) will have surgery Friday, Dec. 20, with renowned surgeon Robert Anderson. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Engram doesn't have a full Lisfranc injury but it's in that territory and will take a while to come back from. Engram expects to be ready for next season. However, we may not see him do much for the Giants until training camp. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [TB - WR Mike Evans to IR](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Mike Evans]( (hamstring) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Now his season is officially over. Evans finishes with another 1,000-yard season and will be the No.1 receiver for the Bucs in 2020. Evans is signed through the 2023 season and has a cap hit of $18.3 million (with $18.1 million in dead money) in 2020. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [TB - WR Chris Godwin out of practice]() Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR [Chris Godwin]( (hamstring) was out of practice Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Godwin had to be carted off the field on Sunday against the Lions. We doubt if this hamstring injury is healed enough for him to play against the Texans in Week 16. All Fantasy GMs need to get Breshad Perriman and consider him a WR3 or flex play in the championship round. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [PHI - WR Nelson Agholor's status unchanged](=) Source: FirstCoastNews.com - Mike Kaye Philadelphia Eagles WR [Nelson Agholor]('s (knee) status is unchanged Wednesday, Dec. 18, according to head coach Doug Pederson. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We haven't seen Agholor out there for the Eagles since Week 13. It's a huge game against the Cowboys at home on Sunday, but Agholor is unlikely to be out there. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [PHI - No change on RB Jordan Howard](=) Source: FirstCoastNews.com - Mike Kaye Philadelphia Eagles RB [Jordan Howard]( (shoulder) still hasn't been cleared for contact Wednesday, Dec. 18. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Same as it ever was. Howard has been considered day-to-day for about a month and he's not been on the field for the Eagles since Week 9. The Eagles are at home for a huge contest against the Cowboys on Sunday. Miles Sanders will be their lead back and a RB1/RB2 for Fantasy GMs while Boston Scott has plenty of flex appeal as a change-of-pace back behind Sanders. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [CIN - WR A.J. Green won't sit out to avoid tag](=) Source: Bengals.com - Geoff Hobson Cincinnati Bengals WR [A.J. Green]( said he didn't like the idea of the franchise tag, but he wouldn't sit out to avoid playing under it. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Green is set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2020. The Bengals could give him a new deal, franchise tag him or let him walk. Green's recent injury history is going to be a factor into the type of deal he's going to get on the open market. Perhaps a team that is close will want to add Green for a good price to put them over the top. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [LAR - QB Jared Goff injured thumb in loss]() Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio Los Angeles Rams QB [Jared Goff]( (thumb) sustained a contusion on his right thumb during the team's Week 15 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to head coach Sean McVay. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Anyone watching the game against the Cowboys could see Goff wasn't right. We should see him limited during the week of practice. However, Goff is not expected to miss their game against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, Dec. 21.
