[DAL - QB Dak Prescott banged up](#13) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [NYJ - Le'Veon Bell ruled out]() Source: NewYorkJets.com New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (illness) was downgraded from questionable to out Saturday, Dec. 7, and won't play Sunday, Dec. 8, against the Miami Dolphins. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Jets will turn to Bilal Powell and Ty Montgomery on Sunday. Powell should get first crack and makes for an interesting flex option in the first week of the fantasy playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NYG - QB Eli Manning returning as starter]() Source: Giants.com New York Giants QB [Eli Manning]( will get the start in Week 14 on Monday, Dec. 9, against the the Philadelphia Eagles with QB [Daniel Jones]( ruled out with an ankle injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We are interested to see Manning back out there for the Giants...although Giants fans may not be as excited. It could be a train wreck for the Giants offense against the Eagles on Monday night. Manning hasn't played since Week 2 and he wasn't good to start the season. We just want to see if there's any sort of spark from Manning upon his return. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [NYG - TE Evan Engram may not return in 2019]( Source: ESPN.com - Jordan Raanan New York Giants TE [Evan Engram]( (foot) said he is not sure if he will be able to play again this season but will try his best to play in one of the last three games. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It looked like Engram might be back in Week 14 but he's going to miss the Monday night game against the Eagles. With only a few games remaining, the Giants may choose to shut him down and get their star tight end ready for the 2020 season. Kaden Smith continues to get a featured role with Engram (and Rhett Ellison) down with injury. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [TEN - TE Delanie Walker to have procedure]( Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans TE [Delanie Walker]( (ankle) said he is scheduled to undergo a procedure on his ankle next week. He said he plans to play next season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Walker wants to play in 2020 but his time with the Titans is likely done. He's got one year left on his contract, but the Titans may choose to move on. Walker is on the books for $8.3 million but there's only $1.6 million remaining in dead money. We'll see if he's back with the team or released to sign elsewhere for next season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [PHI - RB Jordan Howard listed as questionable]( Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Philadelphia Eagles RB [Jordan Howard]( (shoulder) was limited in practice Saturday, Dec. 7, and is considered questionable for the game Monday, Dec. 9, against the New York Giants. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Howard has spent the last couple of weeks limited in practice. We think the Eagles will be more than fine to roll with Miles Sanders as their lead back against the Giants on Monday night. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CLE - TE David Njoku activated off IR]() Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich Cleveland Browns TE [David Njoku]( (wrist) on Saturday, Dec. 7, was activated from the Reserve/Injured list. In a corresponding move, CB Robert Jackson (ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fantasy GMs have been waiting for Njoku to get back for a couple of weeks. You probably have a better option this week, but Njoku could be a big part of the Browns offense over the last month of the season. Let's see if and how much he plays against the Bengals on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [NYG - TE Evan Engram to miss another game]() Source: Giants.com - Dan Salomone New York Giants TE [Evan Engram]( (foot) on Saturday, Dec. 7, was ruled out of the team's Week 14 game Monday against the Philadelphia Eagles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We were hoping that Engram would get back out there this week but that's not the case. Engram and Rhett Ellison are out, so that means Kaden Smith should be the lead tight end for the Giants on Monday night. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [NYG - QB Daniel Jones officially ruled out]() Source: Giants.com New York Giants QB [Daniel Jones]( (ankle) on Saturday, Dec. 7, was officially ruled out for the team's Week 14 game Monday against the Philadelphia Eagles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jones is out of his walking boot but he won't play this week. We should see him limited in practice next week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [DAL - RB Tony Pollard could return for Week 15](=) Source: ESPNDallas.com - Todd Archer The Dallas Cowboys hope that RB [Tony Pollard]( (ankle) can return to practice during the upcoming week and play in Week 15's game against the Los Angeles Rams. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The team could start mixing in Pollard a bit more to give Ezekiel Elliott a breather here and there. We'll see what his practice status is like leading up to the Week 15 game against the Rams. For now, Pollard is just a high-value handcuff for Fantasy GMs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [CIN - TE Drew Sample lands on IR](=) Source: NFL.com - Tyler Dragon The Cincinnati Bengals placed TE [Drew Sample]( (ankle) on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Dec. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Sample, a second-round pick out of Washington in the 2019 NFL draft, hasn't played since Week 10. He started a couple of games this year for the Bengals but only caught five passes for 30 yards. We'll see if he can emerge as more of a weapon (and stay healthy) for the Bengals next season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [DET - WR Kenny Golladay open to contract extension]( Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett Detroit Lions WR [Kenny Golladay](, who has one year remaining on his rookie deal, said that he is open to signing a contract extension with the team during the offseason. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Golladay, a third-round pick out of Northern Illinois in 2017, has one year left on his rookie deal. He's on the verge of another 1,000-yard season even though the Lions have gone through three quarterbacks (Matthew Stafford, Jeff Driskel and David Blough) this year. "I'll let it take care of itself after the season," Golladay said. "I definitely feel like I've done my part." [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [CLE - TE David Njoku hoping to play in Week 14]( Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich and George M. Thomas Cleveland Browns TE [David Njoku]( (wrist) expects to be activated from the Reserve/Injured list in order to play in Week 14's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was designated for return from injured reserve Nov. 20, and has participated in several practice sessions since then. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fantasy GMs can consider Njoku a TE2 this week. We have to see how much of a role he has against the Bengals. If he doesn't suffer any setbacks, Njoku could be a big part of the Browns offense over the last month of the season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [DAL - QB Dak Prescott banged up]( Source: Dallas Morning News - Michael Gehlken Dallas Cowboys QB [Dak Prescott]( (hands) suffered a sprained left hand and also injured the index finger on his throwing hand during the team's Week 14 loss to the Chicago Bears. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Prescott is not expected to miss time, but this injury has caused Prescott's game to suffer. He's got 10 days before the team plays the Rams in Week 15. We should see him limited in practice next week.
