[NFL - WR Antonio Brown has communicated with multiple teams]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Free-agent WR [Antonio Brown]( has had communication 'with a few teams that are interested,' according to agent Drew Rosenhaus Saturday, Sept. 21. Rosenhaus adds those teams 'want information regarding his legal situation and the NFL investigation.' A deal isn't likely to happen until the league's investigation is resolved, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is likely just agent talk. We don't think much will happen until the league completes their investigation. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [BAL - TE Mark Andrews listed as questionable]( Source: BaltimoreRavens.com Baltimore Ravens TE [Mark Andrews]( (foot) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 3. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Andrews is a favorite of Fantasy GMs and he could have a nice game against the Chiefs in Week 3. Have another option at the ready in case Andrews is a late scratch on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [WAS - TE Jordan Reed could miss several more games]( Source: NBC Sports Washington - JP Finlay Washington Redskins TE [Jordan Reed]( (concussion) could be 'weeks' away from a return to the field, according to a source Saturday, Sept. 21. Reed hasn't played yet this season and has already been ruled out for Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Reed is dealing with his seventh know concussion. It's a possibility that he never plays football again, and that could be the best thing for his long-term health. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [WAS - TE Jordan Reed ruled out for Week 3]() Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan Washington Redskins TE [Jordan Reed]( (concussion) was ruled out for Week 3 Saturday, Sept. 21. He'll miss Washington's game against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Reed is working his way back from his seventh known concussion and he's just not ready yet. Vernon Davis will work as the lead tight end for Washington in Week 3. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [SEA - Seattle not interested in WR Antonio Brown]() Source: CBSSports.com Free-agent WR [Antonio Brown]( (Patriots) attracted interest from the Seattle Seahawks after his release from the Oakland Raiders, but that no longer appears to be the case after he was released Friday, Sept. 20, by the New England Patriots. 'We're pretty well set (at wide receiver) right now,' Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said when asked about Brown at a Friday news conference. 'We kind of know where we're going with that.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brown could be out there for some time. The veteran wide receiver has now been released from two different teams (Raiders, Patriots) over the last two weeks. It's more than just off-field drama with Brown, as he's been accused of sexual assault and rape. The league is taking this accusations seriously but since Brown is a free agent, he is not eligible to be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CHI - WR Cordarrelle Patterson to see continued use]() Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Michael David Smith Chicago Bears WR [Cordarrelle Patterson]( has a fan in Bears head coach Matt Nagy, who is trying to find the best way to utilize Patterson's speed and play-making ability on offense. 'Now what he's morphed into as a player throughout his (NFL) career, it's pretty unique,' Nagy said. 'As a play-caller it allowed you to be flexible with what you can do. You saw (against the Broncos) we were able to get him on the edge. He's a big dude that's flying around there with a lot of speed.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Patterson is a gadget player who can be used as a runner or receiver for the Bears. He's got little fantasy value other than a crazy 'what the heck' flex on a whim. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [IND - QB Jacoby Brissett lacking big plays]( Source: 1070 The Fan - Kevin Bowen Indianapolis Colts QB [Jacoby Brissett]( has completed 38-of-55 passes for 336 yards, but the Colts rank last in the league as a team with 294 passing yards. Brissett has completed two passes of more than 20 yards -- the fewest among NFL quarterbacks who have made two starts. 'Do we need to get more production out of the passing game? Yeah, we do,' Colts head coach Frank Reich said. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We'll see if the Colts make an emphasis on longer passes. He's got the weapons on the outside to do that, and Brissett is athletic enough to keep plays alive while keeping his eyes downfield. They are 1-1 after two games and sit tied at the top of the AFC South. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [DAL - WR Devin Smith feeling at home](=) Source: The Associated Press - Schuyler Dixon Dallas Cowboys WR [Devin Smith]( is feeling comfortable with the team and his health after recovering from two major knee injuries. 'Everything that I've been doing has helped me get to this point,' said Smith, who had 74 yards receiving Sunday, Sept. 15 against the Washington Redskins after entering the game with 135 career yards and one TD from 14 games over his first two seasons in 2015-16 with the New York Jets. 'So I don't really want to change anything. I don't want to overhype myself or overthink anything. I just want to stay even keel and just go out here, just work hard every single day and try to have a great performance on Sunday.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Smith has always had speed to burn but he's been banged up regularly with major injuries since his days in college at Ohio State. With Michael Gallup (meniscus) out for 2-4 weeks, Smith will have an opportunity to be more involved. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [PHI - RB Miles Sanders to be used on kickoff returns]() Source: 1 No Source Philadelphia Eagles RB [Miles Sanders]( will be used to return kickoffs in Week 3's game against the Detroit Lions, as a result of RB [Corey Clement]( (shoulder) being ruled out. He had two returns for 52 yards versus the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 after Clement's injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Sanders is not yet doing much in the backfield but he has value to the team as a return man. We'll see if he can produce more with the touches he's getting as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott likely to receive normal workload]() Source: The Dallas Morning News - Michael Gehlken Dallas Cowboys RB [Ezekiel Elliott]( is expected to receive his normal workload in Week 3's game against the Miami Dolphins, according to offensive coordinator [Kellen Moore](. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Elliott should go off against the Dolphins...but the team might pull him from the game when things get out of hand. Even if he doesn't quite get his normal workload, Elliott could finish Week 3 as the top-scoring fantasy running back. We'll see if backup Tony Pollard can get enough work against the hapless Dolphins to be a 'what the heck' flex for Fantasy GMs. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [NFL - WR Antonio Brown to avoid exempt list for now](=) Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Charean Williams Free-agent WR [Antonio Brown]( (Patriots) is free to sign with any NFL franchise as an unrestricted free agent and will not be placed on the commissioner's exempt list until he lands on a roster, the league announced in a statement Friday, Sept. 20. In part, the NFL's statement read, 'Our office is presently investigating multiple allegations, some of which are the subject of pending litigation. We have as yet made no findings regarding these issues. The investigation is ongoing and will be pursued vigorously and expeditiously. As long as Mr. Brown is a free agent, placement on the Commissioner's exempt list is not appropriate. If he is signed by a club, such placement may become appropriate at any time depending on the status of the investigation. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, he may also be subject to discipline if the investigation finds that he has violated the law or league policies.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brown is free to sign anywhere but teams don't seem to be lined up to sign him. We'll see if some team is willing to take a chance on a player who has been released by two teams over the last few weeks.
