Gordon doesn't have much leverage in this situation, and the Chargers have not backed down on their stance. We'll see if Gordon accepts their deal, rumored to be around $10 million per year, or if he plays out this season on his fifth-year option and then hits the open market in 2020. The Texans could use a running back with Lamar Miller (knee) lost for the season, but it's going to take a heckuva lot more than Drake to get a star like Clowney. The Dolphins have been the team most linked with trading for Clowney this summer. We'll see if something shakes out. He's not much of a fantasy asset and will be pushed back on the depth chart if/when a guy like Tyler Kroft gets healthy. With rookie TE Dawson Knox coming back from a hamstring injury, Tommy Sweeney may be the best option at tight end for the Bills in Week 1. [DEN - TE Jake Butt needs surgery]( Source: NFL Network - James Palmer Denver Broncos TE [Jake Butt]( (knee) will undergo a minor procedure after experiencing soreness in his left knee. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's a minor surgery but yet another surgery on his knees. Butt has played in only three games over the last two years for the Broncos. He's a talented player but he's had three major knee surgeries over his football career and this minor procedure makes it four times his knees have been operated on.
