Some hopeful news this morning for Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. Mike Leslie, Sports Anchor at WFAA in Dallas [reports](: "Can confirm picture of Zeke Elliott flying home from Cabo is real. He’s back to DFW now, as the Cowboys return from the Pacific this weekend, after today’s game in Hawaii. No deal yet, but they remain optimistic it will get done soon. His training team traveled home with him." Leslie goes on to say, this does NOT mean a deal is imminent. But I don't think it's a stretch at all to call this a positive move. There clearly appears to be optimism here. As you likely know, Elliott has been training with his training team in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. He's reportedly in the best shape of his career. Again, don't make this any more than it is. Elliott is returning home with his training team. The Cowboys are playing in Hawaii and will be back to Dallas soon. As you well know, these things can change quickly. But right now, I like the way this is trending. Stay tuned. And if you want my take on it, I very much expect a deal to get done and for Elliott to be there on Week 1. Have a great rest of your Saturday.
