SITE NEWS
A. [The Best Way To Gain An Edge This Year](
We give away a ton of free information at Footballguys. Thanks for being part of that. But everything we do for free is to showcase our Premium Subscriptions.
It's where we keep the content you need to gain the edge to win. For the cost of a couple pizzas and drinks, we give you access to everything at Footballguys from now until the Super Bowl.
Our friend Matthew Berry from ESPN says, "Footballguys is the best premium fantasy football only site on the planet." [check it out here](
Plus there's a 30 Day Moneyback Guarantee so there's zero risk.
At $39.95 for the Season Long Pro subscription, $49.95 for the Daily Fantasy Pro subscription or just $69.95 for the All-Pro that includes both, we think it's easily the best value in sports. Those prices cover the entire 2019 season so it's one payment for the season. Many sites charge that much per month. Even for the All-Pro subscription, that works out to less than 50 cents a day.
PLUS - Two big additional things we're doing this year:
1. The Premium Version of the Draft Dominator Mobile App had always been $5 and separate from our Premium Online Subscriptions. This year, people who purchase the Season Long Pro or the All-Pro Subscription get access the Premium Version of the mobile app for free.
2. For our folks who purchase the Daily Fantasy Pro or the All-Pro Subscription, we have a brand new Lineup Optimizer that is KILLER. You'll be able to create powerful lineups for DFS like never before.
Join us and let's win this thing.

1. [KC - WR Tyreek Hill may return soon](=)
Source: Chiefs.com - B.J. Kissel
Kansas City Chiefs WR [Tyreek Hill]( (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Wednesday, July 31, but head coach Andy Reid said Hill could be on the field Friday, Aug. 2.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hill suffered a bruised quad on Tuesday and sent panic throughout Chiefs Kingdom when he was carted off the practice field. Good thing our buddy Adam Schefter calmed everyone down, reporting accurately about the injury and that Hill should be fine. Hill may not get a ton of work in the preseason but he should return to training camp soon enough.

2. [NO - WR Michael Thomas agrees to deal]()
Source: ESPN.com
New Orleans Saints WR [Michael Thomas]( agreed to a five-year, $100 million extension Wednesday, July 31. The deal includes $61 million guaranteed, and he becomes the highest-paid receiver in the league, through the 2024 season.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Thomas was in the final year of his new contract and now gets the money he deserves, especially after catching 321 passes for 3,787 yards and 23 touchdowns through his first three seasons in the league. Fantasy GMs know what he can do as the top target for QB Drew Brees, and Thomas has a current ADP of WR4 (1.10) in 12-team PPR leagues.

3. [OAK - QB Nathan Peterman pushing for backup job](
Source: Las Vegas Review-Journal - Michael Gehlken
Oakland Raiders QB [Nathan Peterman]( is 'growing' on head coach Jon Gruden, who mentioned Peterman's athleticism, smarts and consistency when asked about the team's backup quarterback job.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Gruden has always liked Peterman, dating back to when he came out of PITT a few years ago. The Raiders only have Mike Glennon as the other quarterback to compete with Peterman to be the primary backup to Derek Carr in 2019.

4. [MIA - No practice for RB Kalen Ballage]()
Source: ESPN.com - Cameron Wolfe
Miami Dolphins RB [Kalen Ballage]( (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Wednesday, July 31.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Ballage has been getting plenty of hype as the potential lead back in the Dolphins offense this year. He's a big-bodied back who does not run with as much power as you'd think. Ballage is a better receiver out of the backfield than he showed last year and is in a competition with Kenyan Drake for the top spot on the depth chart. No matter who wins the job, the Dolphins should use a RBBC in 2019.

5. [WAS - RB Bryce Love likely to miss start of season]()
Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio
Washington Redskins RB Bryce Love (knee) likely will not be on the active roster at the start of the regular season, according to head coach Jay Gruden.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Zero surprise here. Love is currently on the Active/Non-Football Injury list. The rookie from Stanford can make plays as a runner or receiver out of the backfield when healthy. He's a weapon who is a fine stash in deep dynasty formats.

6. [BUF - TE Tyler Kroft out of boot](
Source: The Buffalo News - Jay Skurski
Buffalo Bills TE [Tyler Kroft]( (foot) is no longer wearing a walking boot but there is no timetable for his return.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's progress for Kroft, but until he returns then rookie Dawson Knox is in play to be the starting tight end for the Bills this year. We'll see if he can return before the start of the regular season.

7. [WAS - Trent Williams on the block]()
Source: The Athletic - Jeff Howe
Washington Redskins OT Trent Williams is involved in trade discussions, and the feeling around the league is the New England Patriots could get involved due to depth concerns.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This has all the makings of a new Duane Brown situation. Brown was a holdout for the Texans (into the season) before he forced their hand and was traded away to the Seahawks. Washington is getting right to business here, and after signing veteran OT Donald Penn they should have no problem generating interest for Williams. He's under contract over the next two years with base salaries of $10.8 and $12.5 million respectively.

8. [GB - RB Jamaal Williams remains out](=)
Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman
Green Bay Packers RB [Jamaal Williams]( (hamstring) remains out of practice Wednesday, July 31, for the fourth straight day with a hamstring injury.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This would get Aaron Jones more reps if he wasn't down with his won hamstring injury. The Packers are getting a long look at rookie Dexter Williams right now. Jones is expected to be the lead and featured back for the Packers in 2019.

9. [MIA - TE Dwayne Allen activated](
Source: MiamiDolphins.com
Miami Dolphins TE [Dwayne Allen]( (undisclosed) was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday, July 31.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Dolphins don't have a great tight end situation but Allen should be their top guy if healthy. He's a blocker and second-year pro Mike Gesicki is the receiving threat. Neither make for great fantasy assets in 2019.

10. [IND - WR Parris Campbell remains out](=)
Source: CNHI Sports Indiana - George Bremer
Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell (hamstring) remains out of practice Wednesday, July 31.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Campbell has missed a few days since injuring his hamstring on Sunday. He has been a standout in training camp when healthy, but right now Chester Rogers is the No. 3 receiver for the Colts behind T.Y. Hilton and Devin Funchess.

11. [BAL - Baltimore inks Joe Callahan]()
Source: BaltimoreRavens.com
Free-agent QB [Joe Callahan]( (Buccaneers) signed with the Baltimore Ravens on Monday, July 29.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Callahan gets to be the Ravens camp arm behind Lamar Jackson while Robert Griffin III deals with a thumb injury. Trace McSorley is also in camp but he's more of a runner and could be a Taysom Hill-like prospect in the NFL.
[Back to Top](#top)
---------------------------------------------------------------
[]
12. [ARI - WR KeeSean Johnson impressing Arizona](=)
Source: AZCardinals.com - Mike Jurecki
Arizona Cardinals WR KeeSean Johnson 'continues to shine' during the early part of training camp, according to Mike Jurecki of the team's website.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
There's a lot to like about the rookie. Johnson was a star at Fresno State and showed off a great size/speed/length combination in college. He's not quite as fast as you need for a deep threat and his routes need to be refined, but Johnson is a deep dynasty prospect we certainly appreciate.
