FOOTBALLGUYS FRIDAY FIRESIDE CHAT
---------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to Friday and I hope you're well.
First some NFL News. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport [just reported](:
"Sources: The NFL is not planning to suspend #Chiefs star WR Tyreek Hill following its thorough investigation into allegations of child abuse, per
@JamesPalmerTV and me."
Regardless of what we think of Hill off the field (and I've got thoughts), it looks like he's going to escape suspension.
On to our regularly scheduled Friday Fireside Chat.
I'm in beautiful New York City this weekend for a friend's wedding. I love Tennessee and the South where I live and I love Texas where I grew up and I love the West Coast too. (I'm in San Diego next week for a conference. Hit me up Craft Beer Nerds) And I love the Rockies and the Midwest and all the states in between. And no, I'm not trying to go all Lee Greenwood on you. This is just a rad country.
Which leads me to this. You probably know we have some incredible [Message Board Forums at Footballguys](. They're moderated so if you're into insults and flames, don't waste your time. But if you're looking for real discussion, you should register today.
Our main forum is what we call [The Shark Pool]( where it's nothing but NFL talk. It's a ton of smart people discussing the sport we love. Join us.
We also have forum called [The Free For All]( for Non-Football and Non-Political Topics. It's also heavily moderated so it's not a true "Free For All". My good buddy Forrest has a [thread going here]( about favorite cities that made me think of what I wrote in the opening above.
Bottom line - if you're into real discussion, with way less insults and snark, hang out with us on the Footballguys Forums.
Here's the big thing I want to tell you today.
You should stop what you're doing right now and download the Free Footballguys Draft Dominator Mobile App. [Get it here]( for both iOS and Android.
I don't think it's too strong to say it's the key to Crushing Fantasy Football in 2019.
We've got a brand new page [for you here]( with tons of info on how to get started with the Draft Dominator and get the most out of it.
I know a lot of you have drafts coming up and without question, the best thing you can be doing to increase your odds of success is doing tons of Mock Drafts. Our Justin Bonnema just finished a killer feature on how to get the most from Mock Drafts. [Check it out here.](
I could give you a simplified 1, 2, 3 plan for draft success it would simply be this:
1. [Download the Free Draft Dominator Mobile App](.
2. Mock Draft like crazy.
3. Crush Your Draft.
Winning Fantasy Football is hard. We want to give you an edge and we think this is it.
Ok. That's enough from me for today. Please enjoy this new article from the Premium Season Long Pro Subscription this week. Our Clayton Gray takes Average Draft Position from drafts across the country and highlights the players you need to know are moving up and down.
Have a great weekend and I hope to see you out there. Peace to you.

ADP RISERS AND FALLERS
A close look at ADP trends
by Clayton Gray, July 17
As the summer rolls on, there will be a number of players who move up and down the [ADP list](=). This movement can be caused by a variety of factors -- injuries, news, etc. This article will highlight some of the players who have seen significant movement over the last week and place them into one of three categories.
- Players on the Rise
- Players on the Decline
- Players to Note
PLAYERS ON THE RISE
These players have moved up the ADP list in the last week. And there's a pretty good reason for that.
RB [DAMIEN WILLIAMS](=), KC -- UP 3 SPOTS TO 29 OVERALL
Over the last couple of weeks, Williams' name has been brought up on various fantasy sites as a potential breakout player or as an underrated option. This movement is likely the collective fantasy world latching onto those proclamations.
QB [DESHAUN WATSON](=), HOU -- UP 5 SPOTS TO 41 OVERALL
Over the last few weeks, Watson has gotten praise at major sites like ESPN and NFL.com. Readers are drafting him higher because of that.
WR [TYREEK HILL](=), KC -- UP 9 SPOTS TO 55 OVERALL
Earlier in the year, there was a real concern that Hill would miss eight games or even the entire 2019 season. Recent reports have tempered expectations down to two to four games. The more we hear about a short suspension, the higher Hill will rise.
RB [DAVID MONTGOMERY](=), CHI -- UP 3 SPOTS TO 58 OVERALL
While there hasn't been a single article or tweet saying Montgomery will take the lead back role in Chicago, there have been multiple reports saying various good things about the rookie. People are paying attention.
QB [CARSON WENTZ](=), PHI -- UP 5 SPOTS TO 79 OVERALL
While this could very well be random ADP fluctuations, Wentz has recently gotten some mentions as a possible MVP candidate. In this part of the draft, it doesn't take much to move the needle a bit.
WR [DANTE PETTIS](=), SF -- UP 5 SPOTS TO 82 OVERALL
Pettis has gotten a lot of run lately as an underrated fantasy option and seems to be the unquestioned top wide receiver in San Francisco.
WR [CURTIS SAMUEL](=), CAR -- UP 11 SPOTS TO 113 OVERALL
Samuel has been showing up on a ton of sleeper lists and SI even asked if he was "this year's [Tyler Boyd](=)."
WR [MARQUEZ VALDES-SCANTLING](=), GB -- UP 50 SPOTS TO 130 OVERALL
This offseason has seen nothing but glowing reviews for Valdes-Scantling. It's pretty clear that everyone is on board with him starting for Green Bay this season.
RB [DAMIEN HARRIS](=), NE -- UP 17 SPOTS TO 150 OVERALL
This movement is clearly related to [Sony Michel](=)'s drop, but the huge spike for Harris is likely due to people drafting Michel and then grabbing Harris as a handcuff.
TE [MARK ANDREWS](=), BAL -- UP 39 SPOTS TO 174 OVERALL
Over the last couple of weeks, Andrews has appeared on tons of sleeper lists. And tight end is a position where people love to find a sleeper.
RB [GIOVANI BERNARD](=), CIN -- UP 24 SPOTS TO 201 OVERALL
There isn't a whole lot to see here, but there have been reports of Bernard taking to the offense and a reminder that he's a versatile receiver out of the backfield.
RB [JUSTIN JACKSON](=), LAC -- UP 43 SPOTS TO 226 OVERALL
Clearly a response to [Melvin Gordon III](=)'s demand for a new contract. This also reminded everyone that Jackson was undervalued considering Gordon's injury history.
PLAYERS ON THE DECLINE
These players have moved down the ADP list in the last week. And there's a pretty good reason for that.
RB [MELVIN GORDON III](=), LAC -- DOWN 2 SPOTS TO 8 OVERALL
This movement is due to Gordon announcing that he will hold out for a new contract.
RB [SONY MICHEL](=), NE -- DOWN 6 SPOTS TO 43 OVERALL
Nothing new has been reported, but people are still concerned about Michel's health heading into training camp. There are other safer options sliding ahead of him.
WR [SAMMY WATKINS](=), KC -- DOWN 4 SPOTS TO 60 OVERALL
Watkins' value is inversely proportional to [Tyreek Hill](=)'s. With Hill likely to receive a lighter suspension, Watkins doesn't look so attractive.
RB [TARIK COHEN](=), CHI -- DOWN 4 SPOTS TO 63 OVERALL
As [David Montgomery](=) moves up, Cohen's value will decrease.
RB [DERRIUS GUICE](=), WAS -- DOWN 6 SPOTS TO 73 OVERALL
Even though Guice said it was not a big deal, his value plummetted with the news of his hamstring injury.
RB [MILES SANDERS](=), PHI -- DOWN 5 SPOTS TO 86 OVERALL
Sanders came out last week and let everyone know that the Eagles probably wouldn't have a star running back. No one wanted to hear that.
RB [JERICK MCKINNON](=), SF -- DOWN 10 SPOTS TO 108 OVERALL
Aside from hearing a few weeks ago that he hadn't been cleared to practice, there hasn't been much news on McKinnon. At this spot in the draft, no news can be bad news.
WR [N'KEAL HARRY](=), NE -- DOWN 12 SPOTS TO 115 OVERALL
While there have been some nice reviews of Harry this summer, this drop is likely due to [Reggie Wayne](=)'s headline-grabbing quote cautioning everyone to "pump the brakes" on Harry.
WR [MECOLE HARDMAN](=), KC -- DOWN 21 SPOTS TO 156 OVERALL
Clearly related to the stories that [Tyreek Hill](=)'s suspension will be lighter than originally expected.
TE [CHRIS HERNDON](=), NYJ -- DOWN 13 SPOTS TO 160 OVERALL
The news of Herndon's four-game suspension was twice as long as what was expected.
WR [DEEBO SAMUEL](=), SF -- DOWN 18 SPOTS TO 196 OVERALL
After the draft, many expected Samuel to be the top wide receiver for the 49ers. As the summer as unfolded, people are realizing that post-draft narrative wasn't substantiated by anything and that [Dante Pettis](=) seems to be the real deal.
WR [ANDY ISABELLA](=), ARI -- DOWN 22 SPOTS TO 214 OVERALL
While Isabella has received praise and very well could begin the season as a starter for the Cardinals, the team still has [Christian Kirk](=) and [Larry Fitzgerald](=). Fantasy players are realizing that even though this offense will be better this season, there aren't even balls to go around.
WR [A.J. BROWN](=), TEN -- DOWN 36 SPOTS TO 233 OVERALL
At this point in drafts, no news is bad news. Aside from his minor hamstring tweak in minicamp, we haven't heard much about Brown. Many fantasy players have turned to [Adam Humphries](=) as a receiver to watch in Tennessee.
PLAYERS TO NOTE
These players have moved up or down, but there probably isn't a good reason for that.
RB [TODD GURLEY](=), LAR -- DOWN 2 SPOTS TO 17 OVERALL
There hasn't been any recent news regarding Gurley's health, so there probably isn't much to see here.
RB [AARON JONES](=), GB -- UP 2 SPOTS TO 33 OVERALL
There hasn't been much chatter surrounding Jones. Part of this jump could be tied to [Stefon Diggs](=)' drop.
WR [STEFON DIGGS](=), MIN -- DOWN 3 SPOTS TO 36 OVERALL
This is truly puzzling since there has been very little news about the entire Vikings passing game.
QB [MATT RYAN](=), ATL -- UP 5 SPOTS TO 64 OVERALL
It could be that people are starting to realize Ryan was a tad underrated, but this feels like normal, random ADP fluctuation.
TE [ERIC EBRON](=), IND -- DOWN 5 SPOTS TO 76 OVERALL
While it could be that people are starting to become aware of how tough it will be for Ebron to match his touchdown numbers from 2018, this looks like just random movement.
WR [COREY DAVIS](=), TEN -- DOWN 6 SPOTS TO 86 OVERALL
It's possible that people are warming to some of the other receiving options in Tennesse, but it's more likely this downward trek is simply due to other players' upward movement.
WR [JOSH GORDON](=), NE -- UP 34 SPOTS TO 207 OVERALL
People just can't quit [Josh Gordon](=). He caught passes from [Tom Brady](=) but is still suspended.
