1. [LAC - QB Philip Rivers may sit out preseason](=)
Source: NFL.com - Logan Reardon
Los Angeles Chargers QB [Philip Rivers]( is not expected to receive a lot of snaps in the preseason and could sit out the entire preseason to make sure he is ready for the regular season.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Chargers don't need to see Rivers much if at all during the exhibition portion of the summer. They are in a Super Bowl window so long as Rivers is their quarterback. We should see Tyrod Taylor get plenty of work and the Chargers want to see a lot of rookie quarterback Easton Stick too.

2. [SF - RB Jerick McKinnon may be ready for camp](=)
Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco
San Francisco 49ers RB [Jerick McKinnon]( (knee) hopefully will be a full participant when training camp begins, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
McKinnon is going to have to compete with Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida in training camp. It's looking like it could be a three-headed RBBC for the 49ers in 2019. McKinnon has a current ADP of RB40 (8.12) in 12-team PPR leagues. Coleman has an ADP of RB31 (6.10) and Brieda is coming off the board at RB56 (14.02) at this time.

3. [PHI - WR Nelson Agholor dealing with injury](=)
Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane
Philadelphia Eagles WR [Nelson Agholor]( (undisclosed) is not practicing because of a lower-body injury but should be ready for training camp, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This is minor but still not good news for a player who was reportedly on the trading block earlier this offseason. We'll see if he can get healthy, stay healthy and impress enough to make the 53-man roster in the jam-packed Eagles WR corps.

4. [NE - RB Sony Michel recovering from surgery]()
Source: The Athletic - Jeff Howe
New England Patriots RB [Sony Michel]( (knee) missed some offseason workouts because he recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery, according to a source. He is expected to be ready for training camp.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It now all makes sense. Michel hasn't been practicing for a few weeks and now we know that he had a simple knee scope. Barring any setbacks, we should see him ready for camp and Michel should earn the lead back duties for the Patriots in 2019.

5. [IND - Decreased role in store for RB Nyheim Hines?](=)
Source: 1070 The Fan - Kevin Bowen
Indianapolis Colts RB [Nyheim Hines](' role could be affected 'a little bit' by the arrival of WR Parris Campbell, according to head coach Frank Reich.'And yeah, with Parris (Campbell) in the slot that could affect Nyheim a little bit. It would ultimately, probably affect him a little bit, but that is a good thing. We will just continue to fine tune and by game plan, I think that is one of the things that we've done well is figure that out week-to-week how to apply the personnel against the defense that we're playing,' Reich said.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Keep an eye on this situation in training camp and the preseason. Hines was targeted 81 times in 2018 as a rookie, snaring 63 passes for 425 yards and two touchdowns. However, out of those 63 catches only 12 of them came from the slot. If he does lose some slot routes to Campbell, the Colts could easily make up for that with other touches or receptions with Hines in the backfield. Hines has deep flex appeal in PPR leagues because of his receiving ability. His current ADP is RB49 (11.09) in 12-team PPR leagues.

6. [TEN - A.J. Brown agrees to terms](=)
Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt
Tennessee Titans second-round draft choice WR A.J. Brown agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the Titans Wednesday, June 12. Financial terms were not disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Brown has a skill set that could work well in the NFL. He's balanced when running after the catch and is tough to bring down. Brown is more quick than fast, but he uses his quickness and strength to make plays. He will start opposite of Corey Davis this year for the Titans.

7. [NO - WR Rishard Matthews trying out](=)
Source: The Athletic - Larry Holder
Free-agent WR [Rishard Matthews]( (Jets) is participating in the New Orleans Saints minicamp this week on a tryout basis.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Matthews had a bizarre 2018 season, playing eight games on the season with three coming for the Titans and five for the Jets. He had five catches for 24 yards during those contests in 2018. We'll see if his tryout with the Saints can earn him a chance on the 90-man roster for training camp.

8. [CAR - WR Aldrick Robinson suffers injury]()
Source: The Athletic - Joseph Person
Carolina Panthers WR [Aldrick Robinson]( (leg) suffered a leg injury during practice Wednesday, June 12.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's being reported as a hamstring injury. The 30-year old veteran wide receiver is a long-shot to make the roster.

9. [SF - TE George Kittle sits out Wednesday](=)
Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco
San Francisco 49ers TE [George Kittle]( (hip) did not participate in practice Wednesday, June 12, because of hip tightness.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The 49ers are going to use Kittle plenty during the regular season, so it's not a big deal if they limit him in offseason workouts. Kittle has a current ADP of TE3 (3.06) in 12-team PPR leagues.

10. [PHI - DE Derek Barnett may be ready for camp](=)
Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Zach Berman
Philadelphia Eagles DE Derek Barnett (shoulder) hopefully will be ready for the start of training camp, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Barnett made it through six games in 2018 before this shoulder injury (and surgery) forced him out of the lineup. He's a talented player when healthy and a boost for the Eagles pass rush. We'll see if he can get out there at the start of camp later this summer.

Source: ESPN.com - Eric D. Williams
Los Angeles Chargers LB Denzel Perryman (knee) received some snaps during team drills Tuesday, June 11.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Perryman was getting some work in individual drills in previous offseason workouts. Now, he's moved up to getting some team drills work. This follows the reports that indicate Perryman will be back fully for training camp. He's a talented linebacker but is oft-injured.

12. [LAC - Nasir Adderley remains sidelined]()
Source: ESPN.com - Eric D. Williams
Los Angeles Chargers S Nasir Adderley (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 11, because of his undisclosed injury. Head coach Anthony Lynn said the team is holding out Adderley as a precaution.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A second-round pick out of Delaware in the 2019 NFL draft, Adderley gives the Chargers a great safety combination with 2018 first-round pick Derwin James. Adderley did injure his hamstring during his pro day but was participating in offseason workouts. Who knows what this issue is, but the Chargers are wisely being cautious.

13. [OAK - DE Arden Key had surgery](
Source: Las Vegas Review-Journal - Michael Gehlken
Oakland Raiders DE Arden Key (shoulder) said he underwent shoulder surgery in January.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Key was supposed to be a big part of the Raiders pass rush as a rookie in 2018, but in 16 games (10 starts) he only had 1.0 sack. The shoulder surgery is being declared as only a clean-up procedure. We'll see if Key can perform better in year two of his pro career.

14. [DAL - Connor McGovern agrees to terms](
Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Darin Gantt
Dallas Cowboys third-round draft choice OG Connor X. McGovern agreed to terms on a four-year deal with the Cowboys Wednesday, June 12. Financial terms were not disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
McGovern is a road grader as a run blocker and a work in progress as a pass protector. He's got the strength and intimidating mindset to push guys around in the middle of the line. McGovern, a third-round pick out of Penn State, has been missing time in OTAs and minicamp due to a chest injury. When healthy, McGovern is going to push for a starting job as a rookie.

15. [JAX - Quincy Williams signs rookie deal](
Source: Jaguars.com
Jacksonville Jaguars third-round pick LB Quincy Williams signed his rookie contract Wednesday, June 12. Financial terms weren't disclosed on the four-year deal.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Graded by some to be a late-round pick, the Jaguars like Williams enough to take him in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft. The younger brother of No. 3 overall pick Quinnen Williams, Quincy is an athletic tackling machine who has WILL skill set in the NFL. He's been getting some first-team reps in practice this offseason, and the Jaguars may have been ahead of the curve when it comes to evaluating the young linebacker.

16. [KC - Mitchell Schwartz signs extension](=)
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Kansas City Chiefs OT Mitchell Schwartz signed a one-year extension Wednesday, June 12, through the 2021 season. Schwartz's one-year extension is worth $11.255 million and both years are fully guaranteed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's an interesting move for the Chiefs since Schwartz had two years remaining on his contract. Now signed through 2021, Schwartz should continue to play at a high level at right tackle. He's never missed a snap in his career and is one of the best in the game at his position.

17. [TEN - Jeffery Simmons not rushing back](=)
Source: The Tennessean - Erik Bacharach
Tennessee Titans DT Jeffery Simmons (knee) said he's not rushing back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. 'If I don't play this year, I'm fine with it,' Simmons said. 'But my goal is to get healthy on my time and on this team's time. There's no time limit and when I can come back. Every day I come to work, I'm putting my mindset, you know, 'I want to get back today.' That's how I come to work every day and try to get better.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Simmons had the makings of a top-10 pick before sustaining this knee injury before the combine. The Titans selected him No. 19 overall in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft with the idea that he might need a redshirt year as a rookie. It sounds like Simmons is okay with that, and the Titans certainly are going to ease him along at the correct pace.

18. [GB - CB Kevin King update]()
Source: The Athletic - Michael Cohen
Green Bay Packers CB Kevin King (shoulder) is expected to be ready for training camp.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A second-round pick out of Washington in the 2017 NFL draft, King has never played a full 16-game season in his career (17 games total in two seasons). The Packers won't push him as he returns from the shoulder injury that limited his 2018 season to just six games. He should start opposite Jaire Alexander when healthy.

Source: 1070 The Fan - Kevin Bowen
Indianapolis Colts RBs [Jordan Wilkins](, [Jonathan Williams]( and [Spencer Ware]( are vying to be [Marlon Mack]('s 'mixer,' according to head coach Frank Reich.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Things change pretty quickly around here. It wasn't that long ago that Wilkins was thought of as a sleeper pick in the Colts jam-packed backfield and now he's fighting for a roster spot. One spot we think he should earn by the way, but Wilkins dynasty stock has certainly taken a hit. Mack is the main back for the Colts and Nyheim Hines can work as a change-of-pace back. We think the Colts keep Wilkins around, but he may not get much playing time unless there's an injury in front of him on the depth chart.
